This has so many positives. The weighted base doesn't fall off the table which is nice and the controller has a nice 'click' in so you know it's charging. It matches my black Xbox One X controller visually, and looks great on display. The best part by far has to be the charging time. By using a power cable instead of a USB cord allows this to charge the controller at a much faster rate. A must buy if you game a lot!

This is by far the best xbox controller charger i have come across this gen. It looks great and works like a charm. No need to try to connect the terrible micro usb from the play and charge kit anymore, this just rests on it the base. It also will not over charge and kill the battery, once charged it shuts of the charger until it is needed again.

One of the reasons I picked this charger, the main reason really, is that the base is very heavy compared to others on the market. My older charger used to slide around and fall off the table top with ease. This one, it ain't going nowhere. It's pretty much a little brick. I'm docking a star, though, because for some reason when I set the controller onto the cradle sometimes the contacts don't align. I actually have to sort of drop it into place, hear an audible click and wait for the orange light to appear. There have been a few times where my controller sat on the cradle, looking like it was perfectly aligned, but I'm assuming the contacts are so rigid that they're pushing the controller up enough that it doesn't settle properly.

While I wish the chargers were more like last gen where I was charging only the battery packs and swamping them out this is a good charger and it does what it supposed to do. I only wish there were solutions that didn't leave exposed electrodes on the back of the controller mucking up the look.

Its nice knowing that it is ready to go with a full charge everytime.

Works as intended, we like that there is a nice place to place the controller while still charging it when not being used. It looks nice. We’ve never had any issues with it.
