Many users highlight its effectiveness in maintaining low CPU temperatures during intense gaming sessions. The installation process is generally considered straightforward, with some users appreciating the inclusion of optional brackets. Great cooler! Good product if you are liking to bring your CPU temperatures down. Bought when it was on sale for $40 but an extra $5 $10 is still worth it. To top it off, it’s super quiet compared to my previous AMD stock cooler.

This heatsink is more cool and quiet than the regular hyper 212 evo but its fan mounting system is extremely hard to use than the regular one.

I've used this cooler plenty of times. Put a second fan on and you have a cooler that is great for overclocking. I would go with this before something that is overpriced to include prebuilt water cooling that really isn't all that better.

Overall the cooler has worked great. My temps have been right within range with it. The fan is pretty quiet and it was all fairly easy to install. It does come with some thermal paste that has worked fine as well, nothing fancy.

    GOAT Cooler

This thing is huge, a little more complicated to put on than a stock fan, but the benefits are even bigger. Pros: - CPU temperature went 25 degrees lower average. System is ridiculously cold as well because of the air flow (see next pro). - Air flow is way easier to design with with a stand-up fan blowing from front to back - Optional second 120mm fan can be mounted with provided attachment - Cheap - Versatile, can be used for many chipsets, so if you ever make a new build you will most likely be able to use it again (see product description) Not really cons, but to keep in mind: - No preset thermal paste (tube included) - If your RAM has extra metal on top (heatsink), it might be tight/hard to fit/not fit (easy-breezy with low-profile Ballistix) - If it's an upgrade, you will have to remove your motherboard as there is a part to attach at the bottom. - Assembly requires some attention. The provided instructions have no words, just drawings, which can be confusing. Also, they mixed multiple chipset AMD/INTEL setup instructions so pay attention to the top left corner of each drawing. I recommend looking for a video instruction on YouTube with your chipset. The instructions weren't exactly in the same order as the paper's and felt more logical to me. Worked perfectly.

    Excellent Cooler For Price

I've bought two of these coolers over the past several years. They have always been reliable, quiet, and come in at an unbeatable price. I've had zero issues keeping a Ryzen 5 9600x cool at near-silent fan speeds. The included thermal paste is a nice benefit.

    Very silent cooler!

I purchased this for my 11th generation i5 processor (locked). It does an excellent job at keeping the CPU cool on demanding loads while remaining silent. It is a tad bit tricky to install, and does take up a considerable amount more of space than the stock cooler. However once it's in there, it works great. I would not recommend this for overclocked processors, but for standard Intel processors, this is much much better than the stock cooler.

Bought this due to upgrading to a R7 7700X. Even with overclocking my CPU, this cooler is up for the task. By far one of the better Air coolers I have used. Easy to install, comes with everything you need including thermal paste. I highly recommend this cooler for lower grade CPU’s (below 100 watt TDP)

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black (Big & Bulky)

Pros: Option of adding an addition fan. Thermo paste, does what it was designed to do Overall Review: Taking into account the size, be prepared to have to remove the fan. That is, if you intend on populating slot A1. A quick workaround would be placing the fan on the opposite side of the heatsink. This configuration will pull air through the heatsink, as opposed to pushing the air through the heatsink. Motherboard: Asus H570. Another option would be to purchase low profile memory modules. Best Buy's Specifications: Little to be desired. No mention of sockets this product will fit. I don't know about you, but I do not like playing the guessing game. Easy to install cooler for intel and Amd cpus. I used this on an old intel i7 cpu and it is massive but as a consequence provides great cooling performance. Im running my computer doing cpu crypto mining and it is very stable. That being said make sure your case can support a cooler this tall (160mm high) so check your case spec before buying.

Cools amazingly (sits around 55°C when playing games). Only bad part was ease of installation- the main screws are a little short, and are hard to start threading. Make sure to use a long screwdriver so you can come down onto the screw from directly above without the cooling fins getting in the way. Other than that, perfect product.

Exellent choice for my situation. It was a bit of a challenge to install but it is now working as expected. My intel i7-10700 CPU is now running at lease 20 degrees C cooler when running MSFS 2024.
