Beefy but effective cooling

Great Cooler for almost any build!

The hyper 212 black continues to impress! Under load my cpu temps don't go over 45 C. The only thing I'd change is the way the fan attaches to the radiator, but it also provides quick access to change which side the fan is on if needed.

Best for easy to obtain coolers to replace stock

I recommend the Hyper 212 as an inexpensive replacement to stock to people because they can get it the same day, whereas with a Noctua product that usually isn't the case. Don't get me wrong, the 212 is a great cooler, but if availability isn't a concern, there are other options out there.
