A Pain to Install but it works.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this on black friday because the heat sink / fan I bought off the internet was the wrong size. I did not anticipate how incredibly difficult this was to install! They designed it so it would work for multiple chipsets / processors. The instructions that came with it are HORRIBLE.. Every step of the way was a new nightmare in figuring this out. You have to actually move the screws outwards for a LG 1700 mb. It didn't even look like they were movable. I luckily was able to figure that out. Then the fan just attaches with some flimsy brackets. I mean it works fine, but this was the biggest pain to install. I would not recommend this heat sink / fan to anyone. 2 stars because it does what it's supposed to once you actually get it installed.

LED lights are cool but performance was aweful

My 12th gen i7 spiked close to 100c several times in game and throttled during heavy gaming sessions. The lights made it look real cool but not worth the performance loss. I ended up taking it out and installing an NXTZ AIO. Too late to return to store as my return window ended yesterday. Thought I would give cooler master a try and was not what I was looking for.
