Customers have good things to say about the amplified HDTV antenna's reception, picture quality, and ease of use. Many appreciate its sleek design and the ability to pick up a variety of channels. However, some customers found the range to be less than advertised and the cord length insufficient. A few also felt the price was a bit high.

I was surprised and delighted at how well this antenna works! I'm 60 miles from the nearest tower. Before antenna I got PBS and Ion and not always a clear picture. Now I get about 10 channels, including all major networks plus all their subchannels - lost count on the total - and clear pictures. Ironically that's with only 1 bar on the antenna, the other two are faint. One thing that would make this better is if it was wireless. That's the only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5.

I have no complaints- not much to it- plug it in, attached the cache to the TV…done. The light on the antenna helps you to easily zero in on the best signal. Once connected, I had my TV scan for active channels- and there was a ton of them. (Dallas-Fort Worth area) The hardest part was getting behind the cabinet for an electrical outlet. Very stealthy looking antenna- one of the reasons I purchased it.

Super easy to setup and it really does a great job at pulling in channels. I am currently using it in El Paso and it connected 56 channels. I have 3 bars on the antenna and it is doing a fantastic job. Picked it up on sale and it is worth every penny.

The Core Innovations indoor tv antenna has performed as expected. The Fox affiliate in our has a poor signal and our prior antenna had stopped picking up the signal. Bought our new antenna and hooked it up to our tv. Installation was easy and after rescanning channels, the Fox affiliate came through clearly. Good thing is rather than having to hang on a window, the antenna sits comfortably on top of a bookcase near the window. All in all, a good buy.

Game changing indoor antenna

I have tried so many antennas and I could never bring all of my local channels in. I tried various locations to gain a missing channel, just to lose another one. This changed everything. I can bring in all of my local channels, plus some that I didn’t even know were available. The reception and picture quality is very good.
I found that a local channel had changed its frequency, so remember to rescan for channels when you install this. I have so many channel choices now and will finally be able to cut the cable.
The device has a great lit up signal indicator, making it easy to determine the optimal location for the best signal strength. It takes the guesswork out of finding the right place to set it.
Finally, it looks nice in the room. No more extending antenna wands pointing in various directions. I have it set up on top of a speaker and it works great.

Reliable TV Antenna

I’ve had this antenna hooked up to my bedroom TV for about a week now and it’s been reliable for picking up over the air channels on my TV. I don’t pay for cable so I rely on the local air channels for news and TV. This antenna is a great option for those who don’t want to pay for an expensive cable plan. The antenna is small and looks nice on any tv stand or furniture. It is small enough so it isn’t an eyesore and the built in light is a great way to know if you have a good signal. When all 3 lights are on you have an excellent signal. It also has its own power supply to boost antenna strength. Would I recommend this antenna? Yep! If all you want is your local channels and a few basic network channels to compliment your streaming plans. Channels come in clear and even support full HD on some networks.

Fit into the shape of this round orb like design is really an amplified HDTV indoor antenna. The style is very nice and would fit into just about any decor without being unsightly. LED display ring on the front shows when you have a strong or weak connection to a signal, so it's helpful to visually see that in order to ensure you're getting a strong signal for maximum Over The Air channels. The amplified signal helps to boost signal reception. In the box you get the antenna, COAX cable and electrical plug. Amplifier is built in and this antenna states it has a 3G/4G/5G LTE Filter that potentially helps to keep your signal distortion free.
My results with this antenna were just so so. I live about 30 miles outside of a major metropolitan city and couldn't get a solid signal. Was able to pick up 1 FOX station, but the other major networks only would come in distorted or not at all. Tried various locations on my TV stand and nearby, but couldn't achieve a strong signal. Maybe if I could mount it higher or onto a window or wall it would get a stronger signal, but that's where the design was limiting me from being able to place it elsewhere. Unfortunately it wasn't the solution I was hoping for in order to obtain OTA signals as needed. Was hoping for a strong signal within 80 miles as the box states, but maybe I would achieve better results if I lived within 15 miles of a TV tower.
The design is nice and it looks like a smart speaker from various other brands, so it's a great design for most.

Hi JKinSYR, channel reception will vary depending on what’s broadcasting in your area, how far you are from broadcast towers, and your surroundings (i.e. obstructions between you and the towers). Move or rotate your antenna and re-run a channel scan. You may receive more channels by moving your antenna to another location. In case you need assistance or have other concerns, you may call our customer service hotline 1-833-909-2673, Mondays to Fridays from 9am to 5pm PST. Or email us at [email protected].

This is one good-looking antenna. The plastic white casing, together with the grey fabric makes it look like an indoor speaker. The signal indicator shows up nicely through the cloth without being overly bright. It simply looks classy in my opinion.
Hooking it up is rather easy -just plug the included power pack into an outlet and connect the coax RF connector to the TV’s input. Then, run the TV’s channel scanning. I am glad that the coax cable is almost 10ft, as I have a 75” TV. I do wish the power cord was a bit longer, though.
Now, I did have to mess around with distance, angling, and positioning, but I was able to get at least one strength indicator to stay solid. I already had a pretty good antenna before, so I was happy to see that the Core added 4 more channels when the scanning was finished. I especially had problems with the lower frequencies (horrible where I live), where I was not able to pick up the lowest channel (2), and had major breakup with the other lower channels (5-7). Even though I was never able to get all three indicators, I experienced minimal disruptions. One can always get an extension coaxial cable for best placement, but that goes for any other antenna I have tried.
In the end, I am satisfied with the Core Innovations antenna. It looks good, is easy to set up, works better than my last one, and does not break the bank.

Average Indoor Antenna

Unfortunately, like many indoor antenna’s , this one is not much better. The look is good, but it’s a bit awkward to put on a table or up high like on a mantle but it is doable.
Installation is straight forward, you screw in the coax cable from the antenna into your tv and use the power plug to provide power. Once powered on, there are 3 lights that can illuminate on the front based on the signal strength it is receiving. You then go into your tv settings and do a scan for channels.
The antenna boasts an 80 mile range which is quite large for an indoor antenna. I am only about 25 miles (air wise) from most all the major local providers antenna signals. I was still only able to get 1 out of 3 bars lighted on the unit. Despite that, I was still able to get 40 digital channels. Unfortunately, only NBC and Fox were available consistently, CBS and ABC would not stay and were pixilated. Part of my issue too is that I live in a lower area and not elevated enough to break through the dense tree lines in our area.
Overall, I would find this useful in those times where my internet is out and I don’t have access to streaming services and would need to rely on an antenna to get local channels. I cannot recommend it as a full replacement for getting a solid set of your locals unless your physical and location supported that.

I decided to test this antenna to see if it would pull in more channels than the one I'm currently using. I'm in a rather mountainous area, so most of the indoor antennas I've tried have reliably picked up about 20 channels. Setup took about 5 minutes. The antenna is a round plastic base about 6" in diameter, with a cloth covering on the top; it looks more like a speaker than an antenna. It has a small footprint which is nice since it's on my office desk. There are three white LEDs in middle of the cloth covered area which show signal strength as the base is rotated. Once I had the antenna hooked to the TV and plugged it, it was just a matter of turning the base so the three signal strength indicators were solid white. The antenna worked great; it wound up pulling in 22 channels. It pulled in one additional channel compared to the other antenna, but it also allowed access to six channels that the other antenna had to be moved/turned to actually view, and sometimes even then they weren't watchable. All in all, I'm very pleased with this antenna. Setup is super easy, it doesn't take up much space, and it works.

I really tried to give this product a chance but the base price is tad high compared to other options. Aesthetically the antenna looks nice and I liked the 3 bar signal indicator. The problem was it did not pick up any more channels than an old flat Channel Master antenna with no amplifier that I had in storage. Some might have better results. It’s worth a try but you mind find yourself returning it like I did.

I purchased this to replace an ugly flat (unamplified) antenna hanging on the wall at our vacation house.
The good: It looks great and I liked the 3 bar signal indicator. No more "wall hangings" and wires.
The bad: It picked up fewer channels than my old unamplified antenna. I even tried to move it around using the signal indicator but if I was able to pick back up a channel, I lost another. I just couldn't find a location that somewhat matched the channels I was receiving from my old set-up. Also, a bit pricey but it's worth it if it worked as I hoped as it looks great. Overall, it might work for others that have closer proximity to the source signal or a higher shelf area.
Summary: It’s worth a try if you hate wall antennas and easy enough to return (like I did) if it doesn't meet your expectations.

I returned the first one because something was rattling inside so it was already broken. my second one: This is the best inside Antenna I ever had but if you are expecting to get channel like the one you mount outside, then no. you need to get a outside antenna. my original amplified antenna was only able to get 2 channels but once i purchased this, I was able to get 25 channels. I would like to say it also depends on your tv. my upstairs tv with this antenna gets 60 channels and my living room tv gets only 25 and of course position makes a difference. You need to put this on different tv's to really give it a real review. It's worth $40 but not $60

Love the more contemporary and sleek design of this antenna and the fact you don’t have to tack it on a wall or stick it to a window. (I just prefer this look.) When it comes to effectiveness, I can only compare it to a MOHU (stand design) and felt range wise the two are pretty comparable in a low rise condo. Not sure how well the signal detector really helps/works. Certain positions I get almost full signal but still sometimes experience FOX cutting in and out. The standard coaxial cable is too short on this (and doesn’t detach where you can swap a longer one), so it limits you on how far you can place it from your TV. Ended up having to purchase a connector to connect it to a longer cable so I could actually place the unit higher on a shelf closer to a window. Almost no reviews when I purchased it.

Worked okay for main floor tv, in wooded rural setting. Does not pick up HI-V (High VHF) stations. Reception generally good with 2 of 3 bars. From what I've read, this type of antenna cannot have more than approximately 60 mile range due to the round earth. Unplugged a/c power and made no difference in reception. Hard plastic, dropped on wood floor couple times and continued to work. would recommend if you don't need HI-V.

A Helpful Antenna if You're Pretty Isolated

I bought this interesting-looking antenna for my parents as they live in a fairly isolated home, on the outskirts of their small Texas city. Though it's been a while since local television upgraded to digital over analog, my parents had complained that they were no longer to get their local channels, and the antenna they were using was not picking up the channels due to the limited range of it. After checking a few stores and finding most mile ranges to be from 25-50, I found this one that specifies an 80 mile range which was perfect for the range of their home. After a quick setup and the channels searching over-the-air - whole process took about five minutes, and they finally had access to what they had been missing. Definitely a good buy if you use your local channels and absolutely works great if you're using it in a remote area! This model has one of the best mile ranges for the price you'll be paying!
