It's a really great case, but for the price there are other alternatives online that provide a greater value. If Corsair were to add in a set of fans, that issue would be resolved thouogh.

I upgraded to the 5000D after finding out that the 4000D (also ordered from BB) was too small for my build. Overall, the case is great, very spacious. Being able to take the top cover off made building a lot easier. It was very convenient that Best Buy had this case is stock as I needed immediately; otherwise my build would have gotten delayed. The store I went to allowed me to exchange. Two downsides though, hence the 4 stars: 1. It only comes with 2 fans. which for a case called "airflow" it would have been nice to have maybe 2 more fans at least. 2. There's too many extra panels that I didn't end up using, like the backside comes with an internal hinge panel to cover up the cable management; another panel that covers up how cables are routed; there's also two styles of PSU shrouds for the bottom front. All these seem unnecessary, which adds to the cost. Without them, the price point could have been lower in the $100 - $120 range.

No question about it, this is the best case I have ever used for any of my PCs. Corsair provides ample size, plenty of air flow and a plethora of options to build your system including support for a variety of motherboards, multiple mounting options for SSDs, hard drives and large AIO CPU and GPU coolers. And, you can install up to 13 fans. The case is well made, lots of metal, not too much plastic. The panels are easy to remove. The case looks great. The only downside is that if you have a 360 mm radiator installed up top, then getting the 8 pin power connector hooked to the motherboard is a complicated problem once the motherboard is installed. I recommend connecting the 8 pin cable before you screw in the motherboard, if you have a 360 mm radiator in place up top. Cost was $149, which is more than fair considering what you get. Buy with confidence!

Loooooove this case. Upgraded over my ~2010 Corsair case and was amazed at all the updates and modern design features. Cable management is super easy, there is plenty of room for drives and addons, extra fans if you want, and well designed airflow solutions that have left me cool and happy. There’s so much room to build and I never felt cramped. The case is large, but not overly big or ponderous. I was really happy to see the case designed to allow space to plug in cpu power without a super tight fit. As always, Corsair hardware is top notch and had only gotten better over the years. I’m very happy with this case and have zero regrets

A Very Good Case With A Few Caveats

I purchased the 5000D Airflow as an upgrade to my 4000D so I could add more cooling options to my rig. I really liked the look and functionality of the 4000D, so the 5000D seemed like the logical choice. There are several upgrades in the 5000D vs. the 4000D. I like the additional space, especially the height as its far easier to manage cables with more clearance at the top of the case. The top mount for AIO placement is great as I wanted to do a push / pull configuration and this design works perfectly and looks great. There's plenty of RAM clearance as well. Having owned a 4000D, I knew the airflow would be very good and the 5000D has handled my overclocked i5-1600k well with load temps in the high 40's to low 50's. However my overclocked rtx 3080 has been running warmer and I think that's due in part to the extra distance between the front fans and the GPU. Speaking of fans, for a case at this price it's dissapointing to receive only two non RGB fans. I would have preferred no fans at a reduced price instead. I ended up using the two included fans pull fans on my AIO and they are quiet and efficient. I love the idea of using the side of the case to mount more fans, but for now I have kept the sheild in place which does a nice job hiding cables. Cable management in the back of the case is much improved over the 4000D with more channels to use the enclosed cable ties. And since I'm bad at cable management, the addition of a hinged door to hide my rat's nest of cables is excellent. I just wish the tempered glass side panel was hinged as well. The case construction is of good quality just like all the other Corsair products I own, I just wish the feet would have been a hair taller to promote more air flow from the bottom of the case. A couple other nit picking items. The hard drive cage was incredibly difficult to remove as the back screw was tough to access and had been tighetned far too much. And I wish the vertical gpu mount was not positioned so close to the glass as its virtually impossible to maintain a decent thermal in the vertical position. All in all im pretty satisfied with the case and it looks terrific! I do wish it was a bit less expensive but I like the look and quality of Corsair products so paying a bit more is worth it to me.

The main thing you'll notice about this case is it is *huge*. I bought its little brother about a year ago and wanted to get another one like it, but my local store didn't have one. So I bought this one since I needed to put together a new computer that day. It's heavy too. With that size, though, comes plenty of space for fans. I have a 3 fan CPU water cooler mounted to the top, and there is room for 3 fans in the front. The case comes with a fan on the back. You should have no problems moving air in this case. There are places to mount SSD's on the back side of the motherboard, and there's plenty of room to tuck cables out of sight for a clean, neat installation. There's plenty of room for a 750-1000 watt power supply too. If you have a need to move lots of air, this is the case that will do it. Just be aware that it is bigger and heavier than even Corsair's next smallest case. Significantly more expensive too.

I love this case. I upgrades from an older NZXT case from 2019 and i forgot how much i miss larger ATX cases. My core temps went down almost immediately after moving my rig into the new case. Plus with its additional size, i was able to add a total of 12 fans and a bunch more RGB lighting strips. The case has solid cable management as well. No complaints other than the cable bar i feel is pretty useless. To maximize all the fan space, it has to come out and can be a pain to remove. And who doesnt want to max out the number of case fans? Very happy with the purchase, choose this case over the 4000 D

Best PC case ever I have been building pc's since the early 426 Intel chips. This case has been the easiest to work with I have ever used. It is well thought out every detail is very well done its easy to hide wires its easy to work inside the case. This case has so much room I was able to fir the noctua NH-D15 CPU fan in the case with room to spare. by the way great CPU fan. I cannot relate just how happy I am with this case its worth every penny an if i built 50 more computers I would want them to be with this case or one just like it. On a side note this is the 5000 version they have a smaller one its the same other than size. The 5000 is a large case but the easy assembly and the way it controls temps in the case make it ideal for gamer's. Before you remove the doors just look at how they work their have been some reviews that talked about these they are easy if you know how to work them.

I got this case because the airflow in my Macube 310 wasn't keeping up with a 5800X3D and 3080 12GB, and the 5000D does a fantastic job with air cooling. More than enough space, and it looks like I could even fit one of the huge new 4090 cards in there if I wanted to. Case is well-designed and feels sturdy, and the airflow is fantastic. Having USB-C on the front panel is a nice bonus. Very happy with this case as an upgrade.

I went from a Corsair 600T to this 5000D and it cooled my already cool INTEL 10700k cpu and NVME drive by 8C. Also when stress testing my cpu, it reduced the temperatures 9C also. The fact that my cpu was cooler was great, but I was shocked it made my NMVE drive cooler also. I would HIGHLY HIGHTLY HIGHLY recommend this case if you want one of the top pc cooling cases ever made. Mounting the SSD behind the motherboard made the SSD temperature only go up 1 to 2C; so not bad. A very high quality case with lots of configuration and cable management option. If using less than 5 ssd, I would only use the two front mounts and the one rear mount plus the cover behind the motherboard. Or mount three SSD's behind the motherboard. That will make it easier to cable manage the cords from the power supply. Also, with the two included fans plus three CORSAIR - Air Series LED AF120 fans in front, the case is near dead silent. Even when stress tested, and the fans running near full speed, they are really quiet.

OK, so this is a large case. It’s solidly built. There’s going to be good airflow no matter what peripherals you install. Room for 10 fans ensures you can get the airflow you need. There’s even a shelf so you can install your GPU off the motherboard with a riser cable. But if you plan on having this case on your desk, start measuring, because it really is that big.

Easy to work with after reading the instructions. Lots of room to work in. Easy to remove top and front covers. You will probably need to remove the HDD mount on the bottom to fit some Power Supplies. Good airflow. Little bigger than needed but I'm happy I bought it.

I build a lot of computers in my spare time and as a hobby.... Custom water loops and the whole 9 yards. I've used every big name brand computer case you can think of... (and when they come out with a newer model i always upgrade) but in my honest opinion, this has by far been one of the best cases I've ever had the pleasure of building in. She's huge... thicker than a snickers. It's crazy to me that this case falls into the mid-tower category... if you need a more roomy case for a bigger AIO or for a custom loop this is a great option and for me, at least for the near future, this will be my go-to case for any new builds that i do. I've been able to buy this case on sale but I'd be more than happy to pay full price.... it's worth every penny.
