Great Semi-modular for the price!

My computer case doesn't have a "window," so looks aren't everything for me. BUT my old PSU was a rat's nest of extra cables (who needs floppy?)
Semi modular for this price is great. I only wish the cables were rounded, but for this price, the quality and brand reputation is hard to beat. I actually only use 2 SATA power cables right now, so having a lot less cables just makes working in the case so much nicer. Oh this is quiet too

Awesome service by BB. Ordered online and arrived 12 hrs later!
I upgraded my Gateway DX4860-UB33P’s 300 W PSU. This Corsair CX650M fit perfectly into the case. I obtained a Radeon GPU that required 2 6-pin plugs and this PSU supplied the proper cables This PSU is nice.
I bought this at full price of $94.99, and 2 weeks later it was on sale. I contacted BB and asked about the price match and they gave me back the difference. Awesome!
Best Buy has done a great job and I will continue doing business with them!

This is a good case, with very good airflow and cable management options. The only issue I have had with it so far is the front dust screen. Because of the constant intake from the front fans, the screen gets warped and stretched over time. When it does, it comes in contact with the chassis and the fans and can make a high pitched noise. If you take the screen off and shape it back into place, the noise goes away. But after a while when the screen is stretched again, the noise will come back. Corsair needs to upgrade this part to something that doesn't warp as easily. Maybe something similar to the top screen. Otherwise I am satisfied with this case

Power supply unit failed in 12yo HP quad core which, otherwise, was handling all I asked of it. The Corsair CX-M 650 went right in, allowed me to clean up unnecessary cabling, and now operates better and quieter than the original psu. Versatile, solid quality cabling options, and a reputable company. Great value!

Using this unit to power two graphics cards in a mining rig. As pictured, the unit offers modular cables to only plug in what is needed to reducing clutter.

Having a 5 year warranty I expected it to last a lot longer than just under 15 months. Purchased & installed on 4/25/20 died 7/20/21. Computer was barely used very disappointed in my first corsair product. Hope the 850 I replaced it with last a lot longer or it will be the last time I purchase any corsair product. My old silverstone strider 1500w PSU was used 8 years ago when i bought it & its still & it's going strong powering 2 rtx 3090s mining.

The CX650M is among the best bang for the buck PSUs available on the market today. It offers very good performance and it is silent enough, although it could be even more silent with a lower, minimum fan speed. At its current price it is very difficult to find a better unit, covered by a hefty five-year warranty.

I can't believe how much better my desktop is performing after upgrading my power supply from a 450 W to this 650 W system! It had more power feeds than I needed so I know I have room to expand for additional peripherals. It was easy to install and runs cool and is very quiet. I'm extremely satisfied with this product!

I love modular PSU's and I hate paying a lot of money for anything. I have an office with a variety of differnet towers from different years and so on. I picked up a couple of these to upgrade a couple of older PCs with 250watt PSU's. Back in the day that was enough power but now I have staff using 2 or 3 monitors, we all have scanners, printers and of course there are other peripheral devices so I needed more power to keep them from shutting down
I picked up 2 of these units, dropped them into 2 test PC's that were pretty old and then slipped a high performance video card, upgraded the DDR 2 RAM to maximum capacity and those two little dudes are rocking hard core in my office now! They are literally the envy of the office staff and the total bill was under $300!!!!

Good alternative to stock power supplies

I had purchased an HP Omen gaming computer for a VR headset. I was having some issues with heat and realized that the stock power supply had a defective fan. I opted to purchase the Corsair 650 watt because HP had installed a 500 watt which was barely adequate for the PC. It was worth paying for the new one rather than send the entire computer back to HP for the fan issue. Since I installed the Corsair the PC has been operating much better, beyond just the heat fix. The unit itself comes with all of the needed cables, it is module, so you do not have to use all of them and there is room for expansion. The main board cable was a bit short for a clean install in the HP case. Also, due to cable length I did not have the option to install the power supply with the fan pointed up which I would have preferred. I think a longer main board cable and a more generic mounting screw pattern would make this more versatile. Then I would give it a 5!

I was building a gaming PC and needed a PSU with a little more power than my last one had. This 650W has been sufficient for my machine that's using an i7 6700 and Gigabyte RTX 2060. What I really liked about this one from CORSAIR is the nice braided cables it comes with. Since this is modular you only plug in the cables you need (included in the box!) and you don't have anything extra hanging around that you don't need. This PSU keeps it nice and clean inside your PC case. Would highly recommend to gamers, power users, and any other PC users!

This 650w GPU installs at the bottom in my case. It has connecting cables for many devices, which can be removed if the device is removed. This is a larger GPU than I need now, but it is excellent for the equipment I will add later.
