My old dinosaur of a PC gave up the ghost recently and died. Well, at least the power supply did. My first thought was to take it into the Geek Squad and let them handle it, but when I looked at how much this power supply costed I changed my mind. Why pay nearly $200 to wait weeks for other people to handle it when I could just pay $60 and do it myself?
I won't lie; I have next no experience with building PCs or swapping out the parts. I did go in worrying that I'd muck everything up and have to take my mess to Geek Squad anyway. Fortunately with the help of YouTube and a little luck, I managed to do the installation myself. I have no complaints so far. It works well and it's whisper quiet, more than my old power supply. An easy recommendation for people who are willing to do a small bit of under the hood work.

Bought this so i could install my 3050ti after lacking any new tech in my desktop... it saved the day and i only had one power issue when starting up, my mistake used the wrong adapter. Holds LEDs, a good fan for CPU, and isnt noisey at all considering what all i make it do with the little i have now.

I bought this when the 850w version was too big for my pc, and was probably overkill for the specs of my money, but this 650 watt version is perfect. I heard bronze power supplies were loud, but this thing is really quiet.
It's semi-modular too, so you can plug in the extra cables that you need to use instead of having a rat nest looking thing in your case.

I bought this PSU for my wife's PC when the one I bought before started making a whining noise. Installing this PSU was very easy and the modular part was nice since there were no extra cables if you didn't need them. I have a 750 in my gaming PC and it has held up great so far. Corsair PSU's are all I use from here on out.

Bought this Power Supply for my first custom gaming build using an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X CPU, Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 Super Gaming OC 3X Graphics Card, ASRock X570 Phantom Gaming 4 Motherboard, Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3600 Memory, Samsung 970 Evo 1TB M.2 NVME SSD, and a Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200 RPM Internal Hard Drive, all inside of a Fractal Design Meshify C Case. The estimated wattage pull (according to PCPartPicker) was around 400-405W (including my two Arctic F14 140mm Case Fans), so I wanted to have some headroom in case I make future hardware upgrades.
Everything went beautifully, PSU works great. I did use sleeved cable extensions from Amazon just to tidy up the cable management and to match aesthetics, but the included PSU cables work just fine as well. I have yet to hear the PSU fan with or without the case's side panel on, it stays very quiet. If you're on the fence about this one, do it. Worth every penny and is highly recommended, especially from such a reputable brand as Corsair.

No issues thus far..! needed a power supply with at least 450 required watts. Noticed this one and pulled the trigger. its been excellent. I also wanted good cable management, so Modular was the way to go. This fit the budget and my specifications. Corsair has been a good reliable brand.

I needed to upgrade my power supply to be able to add a GTX 1660 super to my HP. 650 watts is overkill but I trust Corsair. The OEM case on my HP is very tight and the modular cables made it a lot easier to manage because I only installed what I needed. The extras I saved in the box for the future. The supply fit perfectly in the case. The only thing extra I needed was a SATA to mini SATA power adapter for my DVD drive. But i would have needed that for any mainstream supply on the market. If you decide to try and stuff a new graphics card in an HP 550 series be sure it is not longer than a PNY - XLR8 Gaming Single Fan NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER. Its specs say it is 6.6 inches long and it just fit.

I have several of these in use for over two years now. Not a single one has failed. They run quiet. What I like is that they are semi-modular allowing use of only the cables/connectors you need for your particular build.

Corsair’s CX series should be perfect for most everyone including people building a high end rig. Although I’ve never dealt with their customer service, so far I’ve had good luck with their power supplies. Bought this to replace a Seasonic PSU that was DOA from Newegg. Didn’t want to wait for the replacement so I got this from my local Best Buy. 80 plus bronze certified, semi-modular cables (only motherboard power cable cannot be removed) and 650w should be plenty for a single GPU PC that you plan to over clock even with a Ryzen 7 or i7/i9 processor. Helps that the power cable sleeves are all back and the sticker isn’t as ugly as some PSU information stickers.

Pretty straight forward on this. It supplies the power needed to run my PC. Dual fans, RTX 2070 and does well. It's actually really quiet as well and there is very little heat.

This is the first modular power supply I have ever purchased. It was very helpful, I transitioned from a power supply that wasn't modular but had to switch when I got a GTX 980. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a cheap but quality product.

My installed PS croaked after 13 years and I found this one at BB. It carried some good reviews and, after more online research, I went to BB, got the location from a friendly store assistant and made the purchase. Easy process and fast.
The modular form make installation fun. Use only the cables necessary to power the devices installed. No more stuffing non-needed cables into empty drive racks! Great design and it's working fine so far in the three weeks after installation.
