I awoke on Thanksgiving morning and starting using my PC, only to hear a loud POP and everything in the PC goes dark. Never a good way to start off a day when no stores are open. I went onto Best Buy's website and bought the Corsair CX-M Series 650W Bronze modular power supply and set the pickup for the next day. At 8 A.M i got the message my power supply was ready and had it installed and working by 8:45. The entire thing was quick a very efficient. The modular plugs worked well with the modular unit I was already using and I and didn't have to unplug anything. The unit is working great so far!

This is a nice semi modular supply. I've used in several builds and have not had it fail yet. It has plenty of cable length for all the building I've done in mid tower builds. I mean what else can you say this will psu will not leave you stranded in my experience, come with all the cables you need or don't need and the only thing thats not modular are your 20/4 pin which you cant do without anyways.

I needed a power supply and options were running thin. I got the CX650 because it suited my needs while still being at least semi modular.
It is quiet and no frills. I didn't need frills anyway.
Works great. No buzz.
It's a bit hard to read the labels on the modular connects as they don't really line up but if you somewhat know what you are doing (and you should if you are installing power) you'll be fine.

I bought this thinking my PSU died after 1.5 years, turned out it was the battery on the motherboard, but that was after I installed this PSU. I decided to keep this because it's got far better cable management and is quiet. I was conscious of other reviewers and because of my motherboard, the intake fan faces downwards, and I haven't noticed any acoustic noises under load. Anyhow, good value.

I needed to cut down on the amount of cables coming off of the power supply as to fit it in a RAIJINTEK STYX case , as it was mounted with a Ryzen 1600 and RX 580 as the main hardware to power, I left the DVD drive out of that case and mounted the power supply fan facing front panel which gives it a gap of the missing drive, performance has been 5 star and the price of $59 makes it a must have for that small case design.

Great for a Mid Range PS

I needed a decent modular PS for my wife's rig. This is a Mid Range PS that allows you to make a neat cable management without breaking the bank. If you are going to run a SLI formation or possible multiple radiators or liquid cooling loops then I would suggest at least 1000W or above. Of course this is rated Bronze also, but unless you have multiple rigs and you are data mining, then the cost will be negligible. It is made by a decent company with a good customer service department. If I have ever had a problem with a Corsair product, they are usually quick to fix my issue. I fully recommend this PS.

I ordered this PSU because it was cheaper than the NZXT equivalent, which I had been planning to use in my new PC build, and I had a considerable amount of credit on some gift cards. I built the PC last weekend, and the PSU has successfully powered everything at peak performance. I even have lots of extra cables left over that might be useful later on. Good PSU and super cheap, would buy again.

The CX650M is among the best bang for the buck PSUs available on the market today. It offers very good performance and it is silent enough, although it could be even more silent with a lower, minimum fan speed. At its current price it is very difficult to find a better unit, covered by a hefty five-year warranty.

My admittedly rather old OCZ 700W PSU died on me, so I needed something quick. This was recommended by Tom's Hardware OVER the 750W PSU for better parts. I'm running very little in my build and didn't need the extra wattage. Peace of cake to install. Seems both rock solid and whisper quiet after about a month of use.

I have had zero issues with this psu, and it’s my second one in a spare machine. Like with all of their modular psu’s, everything fits together nicely and the overall quality of the unit is top. Power delivery is perfect for mid range PCs not requiring a ton of power and is extremely reliable and efficient.

Corsair makes some of the best quality psu out there. 650W is plenty for my build with a Ryzen 9 3900 and Radeon 5700 XT/RTX 3070 (just upgraded). This semi-modular unit has good pure black esthetics and a good amount of cables for the average system.

I have been slowly upgrading my old PC with new components. One of the first things I know I wanted to upgrade was the Power Supply. It is an old non-modular 400 watt power supply. I definitely wanted to go fully modular this time around and it was very worth it. Everything in my case looks cleaner with less ugly cable management than before. Also the cables are all black instead of the old red and yellow wires of my old power supply. Corsair makes great product and I would highly recommend this power supply if it is enough wattage. I believe 650 is a good amount that's not too overkill, but still good for future proofing.

This is a beast of a PSU. The modular nature of it makes it a great addition to a PC enthusiast's build. 650W is plenty for most modern, mid-high tier builds. Having a high-end card you may want more than 650W but I had this one in my computer for years previously and never had any problems.
