Tried the old PSU. No post. Sent the motherboard to ASUS. Got it back. No post. Tried my old power supply. Got it working (partially - one bad connector at the 8 year old PSU at least). Bought a PSU meter and checked this - it was giving out the wrong voltages to the motherboard. Past the return period. Probably under warranty but nothing corsair is getting another shot at my motherboard, and any PSU ever again purchased is getting tested before use on every connector.

The computer still wouldnt power on with a new power supply. I spent some time testing/swapping the other parts and even built a whole PC because it took all of that for me to consider my new power supply could be bad. As soon as I replaced it, computer powered on. Corsair's horrible customer service gave me the run around so I returned the defective product to the store while i still could. There are indeed a bad batch of power supplies out there

Only thing that worked on them were the peripherals.

Haven't had it very long then all of a sudden I lost all the PCIe connections on the power supply. Lost the GPU in any of the slots on the device. Tried another power supply and the GPU works fine.

You can try what's called a paperclip test to see if the PSU can power on itself.
