Unfortunately DDR5 memory on LGA 1700 is fickle. Really Corsair should disclose that this kit is only rated for 2 DIMMs on not 4. Depending on CPU quality and your motherboard- you may not be able to run them in XMP. That is partly an issue with DDR 5 and LGA 1700, but should be disclosed nonetheless.

The disclosure comes from this being sold as a 2 module kit and not 4, if you want to run 4 modules please purchase a 4 module kit that's been tested together to be compatible with your specific motherboard/CPU, the manual for the motherboard will have a QVL.

When installing 4 DDR5 memory modules, the speed limitation due to other reasons. There is a reason we currently sell DDR5 memory kits with only 2 modules. If you encounter any lower speeds with a memory kit which has identical modules, please feel free to contact us - we'd be happy to assist.
