      Hi,

Being 'big' is indeed one of the aspects of the product, but we have those measurements listed on the product page and sale page, so please do return if it's not what it's listed. For any other issues, do reach out: support.corsair.com CorsairGaming

This is a great mouse pad, it has a plastic surface. It has some weight to it and does not feel flimsy like most other mouse pads. The surface is made up of plastic and my mouse glides over it smoothly. I have the Corsair Dark Core SE gaming mouse also which makes full use of the MM1000 with its built in QI charger. Corsair makes it easy to charge your mouse, all you have to do is place it in the top right corner on the QI charger and thats it. They also include an adapter for your phone so you can use it to charge your phone also if your phone doesnt have QI built in like my Iphone. Overall great mouse pad that provides wireless charging and is built well.

This pad has a couple of glaring problems. First, it requires two USB 3.0 ports to operate. It has a pass through port, but if you're using the Dark Core mouse, you'll need this port for the 2.4 GHz wireless receiver (you loose some functionality with that mouse over Bluetooth). The second, and deal-breaker for me is that the Dark Core SE mouse will only charge when placed in the upper right corner of the pad and the PC is on. It won't charge otherwise. So your computer has to be on but you can't use the mouse. This pretty much ruins the convenience of a wireless rechargeable mouse. You might as well use a cheap Qi charger for your Dark Core SE and save your money.

The qi area is very small so the mouse has to sit on it just right or it doesnt charge. My qi compatible phone seemed to work better so maybe it was the mouse instead. There is only one mouse currently that this works with and it is not a good mouse. Since the mouse sucks and you kind of have to buy them together i gave this the same 2 star rating.

Neet product but in reality, it's a super expensive piece of plastic. It's hard and I could hear my mouse sliding around. I didnt like it at all. Way over priced.

The mousepad controller disconnects randomly and the mousepad turns off or goes to its default color pattern and the only solution is to unplug and plug back in.

I bought one, dead out of the box. I returned it and got another, dead out of the box. Returned that one, and the new one is also dead out of the box. I called Corsair tech support to troubleshoot it and after plugging them all in multiple USB 3 ports on three computers, they declared them dead and recommended I return them to Best Buy for a refund.

I have used Corsair products for more than a decade. They have always been well built and well conceived products. The MM1000 is the first product I have used from Corsair that leaves me scratching my head. It is well built and feels very durable. It uses two USB connections to your PC to enable both power and USB passthrough. It has a smooth, large surface with just a little bit of texture to provide a nice balance of friction and freedom. It also has a rubber backing to prevent it from slipping on your desktop surface. I am using the MM1000 in conjunction with the new Dark Core SE mouse so I can get the full wireless charging effect. The problem is that the wireless charging feature is a bit of a head-scratcher for me. Maybe what I mean to say is 'lost opportunity'. The Qi wireless capability works great... in a single location at the top right corner of the mat. Why is it so limited? Logitech took it to the next level by building a mat with full surface charging capability. Now granted it isn't a Qi standard charger, but it does allow the wireless mouse to always charge. The MM1000 does not offer this capability. Yes, I can throw my iPhone 8 on the Qi hotspot and it charges as expected, but I am not sure that is a worthwhile trade-off to a mat that has total charging coverage. After all, I am buying a mouse pad for my mouse, not my phone. The next quandary for me was that I still needed to plug in the wireless adapter into the USB passthrough on the MM1000. Once again, why? Why aren't Corsair wireless mice automatically supported with a built-in receiver? After all, this mouse pad is nearly the same price as the actual mouse itself. Seems like it should have been a no-brainer. Overall it is a nice mouse pad, but there are some questionable design decisions that make the value proposition tough for me to recommend at its list price. If you can find it on sale and you already have the supported mouse than I would say go for it.

So we have wireless charging mouse pad, YAY. It can charge your mouse and it can charge your wireless phones (Qi compatible) and even phone with no wireless charging can be charged using supplied adapter (lightening, USB-c micro usb). Pretty good and Kudos for not using some propriety charging solution. It does have good heft to it, and it appears it will last. It is big enough (slightly more than Medium). The mouse move freely on this vs a cloth mouse. What is not so good is that it seems the implementation is restricted by Corsair. They could have done more with this thing. The only added feature for asking price is wireless charging and that felt like half baked to me. Especially considering the price for it. For instance the charging area is only a small portion (top right) of this big mouse pad and it is by all standard, very slow. Supplied adapter only outputs 500 ma max. I tested with iPhone8, S6 Edge, and Pixel with supplied adapter. It takes forever for a phone to charge and yes I ensured that they were aligned correctly (The light was blinking 1 not 2). On top of it, there is only one such area. If output from port was an issue they could have added more by having both USB cables as 3.0 (One is 2.0). But they have simply left it out. So you can either charge your mouse or your phone, but not both at the same time. No LEDs: Really Corsair; at this price, for a gadget targeted for gamers; a product which pairs with a RGB Mouse, you decided to not put led here at all? There should have been LEDs, with a switch to turn them off or perhaps an option in software. Heck I would have used an external adapter (not preferable though). But currently there is this plain black plastic (Which looks really good for my office), sitting on my desk where every thing else is colored. I think it could have been a fantastic entry with a perfect product, but hey, may be the next version will have it.
