The headset has this static coming out of it along with the sound. I tried to see if it was a issue with my computer, but I tried it with multiple devices and they all had this static coming out. It is unfortunate because I really looked to Corsair products as something I can always rely on.

Broke in 2 weeks with minimal use. These were a gift and the user messaged me a few weeks later saying they just stopped working. He then tried them on another computer and the same thing. This is a bummer since I think most Corsair products are great, but these crapped out pretty quick.

These headphones didn’t even last 2 weeks before the sound quit on one side. Not happy with them.

microphone continuously had issues working. You could not hear people. Sound would cut in and out. I checked all cables, and removed the 7.1 surround adapter. I am completely disappointed in this headset, and absolutely will not purchase this, or probably any corsair product again.

The mic is not good and the usb adapter stop working in 2 months.

Very poor quality. Mild sound issues when connected through USB. Then the top band snapped in half. 32 days and nothing but problems. Called customer service and nothing. Going to email on Monday. Will update review depending on the response

Out of the box this headset looks very stylish and upon putting them they are extremely comfortable! I played with these on for hours and experienced no pain or pressure unlike some other headsets after wearing them for a longer period of time. Sound quality is nice. It does have a detachable Mic. Microphone picks up well with no issues. This headset can be used on consoles or PC. Overall I'd say for the price it's hard to beat. It has all of the creature comforts for a good gaming headset so I'd recommend this to others!

Overall I’d classify this headset as average. There’s really nothing about this that’s standout or extraordinary...it’s just a regular headset. I have Turtle Beach/Astros/Logitech headphones, all of which are really nice. This headset is just a stereo headset that plugs into PC/PS4. Sound wise it’s average. No real punchy bass or crisp highs. Everything is just kind of in the middle of the EQ. I didn’t like the volume in that, at full blast, it wasn’t really as loud as I would’ve hoped. The mic is ok. I’ve had numerous problems with these plug in mics from previous headsets so I’m not going to be surprised if these start acting up soon too. I did like the fit of these headphones though. They are a bit snug, even for a big head like mine. But they were comfortable even after a 5 hr Destiny session. This headset would be nice for a beginner or maybe your kid? If you want or expect a nice headset then you need to move along and go pick some Astro’s or something. Price on this is quite low so you’re getting a baseline headset without much frills.

They were very average yet, I couldn't get the microphone to work. So I paid $50 more and got turtle beaches elite, thankfully I got the warranty because those too already broke from merely taking them on and off!

Corsair is THE brand to have for gaming. Their products never seem to disappoint with performance. That being said, this headset has great sound quality. Especially for the price point. I have an XBOX one and mainly play shooter style games where its important to hear players moving around you. Though I wish it did have a bit more bass to them. They were so simple to set up; they are wired! My preferred connection. But I did have some issues with static and the sound cutting out. I don't have this issue with my premium quality sets that are wired and my controller is newer so this was a bit unfortunate. I am not impressed with the overall quality of this headset. Any movement I made was echoed through the headset. Any time the outer ear part touched my hear or sweatshirt it was echoed. The ear cushions are fabric and the body of the headset is a cheap looking matte black plastic. The connecting cable feels longer than normal, but does have a nice rubber piece to fold the cable shorter. The volume wheel is on the ear piece but would be easier accessible on the cable. The mic is flimsy and flexible. I prefer not to use it but it did work well. There is a small rubber plug to put in place if you're not using the mic.

They turn themselves off and I have to continuously have to unplug and replug them back in. Mic completely stopped working after just 3 months. I expected more from Corsair.

Came with a factory defect the ear cup was about a inch off of the speaker which cause the microphone to pickup game and party chat noise. Will never buy a Corsair headset again.

I had to find and download iCue to get it to turn on, so this set is not Plug and Play. Also, it does not work with Zoom.

I purchased this headset for my daughter to use during distance learning. She takes really good of her electronics. This set lasted less than a year.

There are nice headphones from Corsair that's actually affordable. I've been testing these headphones for about a week on a secondary gaming PC and please with the results. While there is nothing fancy like RGB lighting it doesn't need any of those things to be good. The headphones are well contracted and solid with a good feel to them. The headband adjusts wide enough to fit anyone's head giving good comfortability to it's user. The HS45 is also lightweight with a great feeling sitting on you. Not only they are comfortable but reliable as it survived a few normal drops to the ground. Corsair HS45 comes with a standard 3.5 MM headphone jack that can connect to the USB dongle which connects to your PC. Once connected to the PC the headphone's sound amazing in Surround sound, You can hear every footstep on Battlefield V around the corners, Mr. X Footsteps sound even more daunting on Resident Evil 2 REmake, Forza Horizon cars all have a unique sound to them and I enjoy every minute of it in the cockpit. They are loud as well with a nice amount of bass, Everything is just as clear as it can be with sound. My PC fans are somewhat loud but these headphones put me in a zone when gaming. iCue software provides all the tools you need to make audio profiles and very easy to use as well as provide information about your gaming PC. The most standout feature so far is the mic which is clear for gaming and audio streaming on Twitch and Youtube Its clear, loud and everyone can understand me on Discord. It sounds like someone talking to you right there as far as I'm told with friends online. Overall; Buy it. Its as simple as that. Its not only affordable but its very relieable! at this price point there shouldn't be an excuse not to have a better 3rd party mic/headset. I love using them and they sound great.

Doesn’t work on Xbox one. Straight out of the box. No sound. So disappointed. It’s one of the only gifts he asked for and they don’t work.

Mic Does not work well. Tried to do extensive testing if you want to use for mic and audio conference need this will not work

Mic didn't work, the software that automatically installs onto your computer after putting in the USB also doesn't help.

Don’t buy is better to save money and buy better ones they don’t have good sound system
