The headset is very comfortable to wear for long periods. The sounds is incredible and I like the look of them. I don’t like that there is a scroll wheel on the back to control the volume in the location where I would usually put my thumb to take off the headset so most times I take it off I have to readjust the volume when I put it back on, if there is a way to disable that feature I haven’t looked into it much. All in all a good product, I got it on sale, not sure if I would pay the full $70 for it.

It took some getting used to but I overall am happy with this purchase. Sound is good. Not amazing

This was the Wirecutter.com budget pick (sub $100) and I must say I am very satisfied. I use it on PS4 and it works very well for first person shooters like call of duty. I have to be able to hear footsteps and I can! I think it works better on PC but my testing has been far more limited. The “surround sound” dongle is not a competition for real surround sound but, it does a solid job. Overall I would HIGHLY recommend this headset considering it’s price point when comparing it to the competition.

Pretty good headphones, I haven’t had any that actually had surround sound so to have that is pretty nice. They fit quite nice as well and from what I can tell pretty sturdy!

I've had a couple of these over the years. Work very well. Noise cancelling. Don't give you ear fatigue. Cord is a good length. Sound quality is very good. Highly recommend.

The Corsair HS60 Surround Stereo Gaming Headset is a great entry into the gaming headset market. This model has some nice features, including large, comfortable ear cups and head strap. The headband is metal and feels very solid. The headset comes with a USB dongle and removable microphone boom. Connectivity is well covered as the HS60 comes wired with a standard 3.5mm TRRS connector, allowing it to easily be used with most gaming systems or even a cell phone. Folks who don’t often use the mic can even remove it by simply unplugging the boom from its attach point (note, there’s a small rubber plug that fills this gap but it is not attached and will be very easy to lose). The mic boom itself is pleasantly sturdy yet flexible and easy to move out of the way to shove snacks into your face. The mic mute button is also well placed and is a latching pushbutton which makes it easy to quickly determine the status of. The sound quality on this Corsair headset is pretty good. Bass is on par for a headset of this price level, though mids seemed a bit muffled at times. The USB dongle is nice if your PC doesn’t have headphone jacks but it made no difference in sound quality from my PC’s stock sound card. Dolby 7.1 is kind of a joke with only two actual speaker drivers and doesn’t really mean much as far as this particular headset is concerned. In fact, unless you’re convinced the surround sound is worth it, you’re probably better off with the Corsair HS50, which is identical and omits the USB dongle, saving you $20 as of this writing. The microphone quality was extremely good and is a solid reason by itself to purchase this headset. Overall this headset is a great buy. It easily bests its big brother the Corsair Gaming VOID PRO in both build and sound quality, despite being cheaper. This headset gets a solid 4 eggs.

good headset, comfortable to wear, Does a very good job of insulating you from outside noise. The mic picks up your voice well at the same time does a great job of limiting outside noise interference. I wear my headset, btwn watching youtube, nextflix, gaming, class homework and movies up to 10 12 hrs a day. With that much wear and tear I have worn this type of headset up to 15 months. I feel with moderate usage from someone, unlike me; a heavy user. this headset would last them a long time. The only weak part on the headset is where the earphones attach to the frame. once that clip goes...the headset has to be replaced.

I'd love to give this product a higher rating but it has some glaring issues. Let me start off with the negatives which all seem to be related to the USB adapter from my experience. I have returned one set and the replacement that showed up suffers the same issue. The issue with the USB adapter is that the headphone jack has to be plugged in just right to get sound out both the left and right ear. The other issue is when using the adapter and detachable mic which had a issue with picking up desktop audio in Discord. I had uninstall everything related to Corsair's Utility Engine to address that, but I'm not sure that was what fixed it. TIP: turn off automatic gain control otherwise the sound into the mic loops endlessly and gets louder. Positives: This headset is very comfortable to wear for extended periods of time, and it never feels like my ears are getting hot. When you can get the sound working it sounds great. Especially when you can get the software to emulate the 7.1 Surround Sound. From what friends told me the sound for the voice comes through clear and a mic cover is included to reduce popping. I wish this headset worked a bit better and didn't have the design flaws around it. But at the end of the day I would still recommend this headset if it's on sale for a decent price.

I have never owned a gaming headset before and had always wanted to get one. I had heard that Corsair was a good brand and during black Friday this headset was on sale for a great price, so I went ahead and bought it. so far I think this headset is very light and comfortable. I have not had any issues with the sound or the mic. They both sound very clear. I would definitely recommend the Corsair HS60. It has a solid performance, it's greatly build, it comes with a two year warranty and even if you don't get it with a black Friday discount... this headset is a very good buy for it's current price of $49.99.

I love this gaming headset it works so well, I use it everyday for gaming, and other things too. It's really comfortable and worth the price. The sound is sharp too.

These tbings are comfortable and sound very good, now I would like a little more bass but they sound super clear, and the mic sounds clear as well, but i just love the feel ofbthe build quality, makes you feel like you would need to spend at least $150 for this quality build, definitely recommend, if your not a bass head

Pretty great gaming headphones for the price, especially on sale. They are comfortable and don't make the wearer's ears too hot. The sound quality is surprisingly good. Microphone pick-up is decent, as far as I can tell (at least we've received no complaints). A bit of sound leakage and isolation from outside noise is not perfect, but definitely not a problem.

This is a great headset that I received as a gift. It is very comfortable to wear for extended periods of time with full ear cups not pressing on the ears. The sound is very full and rich over the spectrum. The microphone folds out of the way and turns off when it is in the full upright position. It renders speech very clearly I'm told by those I communicate with. The build quality is extremely good. I would heartily recommend it.

Very affordable, and the sound quality is amazing. I love being able to control the volume on my keyboard, or headphones. Very comfortable too even while wearing my glasses.

Great all around headset. Needed a new wired headset for gaming and music. Would recommend as a first purchase any time. Am not disappointed in one aspect. Pros - Sturdily constructed, metal, braided cords, quality connections and USB dongle. - Great price point for quality. - Strong, clear sound and clear, no-popping mic quality. - Comfortable and enjoyably adjustable for us with big noggins. Cons - Despite great sound, doesn't kill outside noise and on mid-volume, can hear the sound outside the headset. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great price-point gaming headset. Corsair never disappoints.
