This headset although is a decent sound.. beware they break very easily on the plastic holder that allows the headset to extend on the ends of the head strap.

Love these headphones. Pros Long battery life Rich sound All day comfort I tried these out for gaming. The presets for particular games on the iCue software was decent but I couldn’t tell a big difference other than that. These things shine for long wear. I spend a good portion of my day in video conferences, I also like music. To test the battery life I decided to give them a busy “day in the life”. From 9-5 these guys powered through. The entire time I was either listening to music or in meetings. The biggest plus, as an eye glass wearer, they felt as comfortable at the end of the day as at the beginning

Absolutely great sound with a removable mic when it works properly. After some use the sound begins to clip. The headset continues to clip until I unplug the dongle and plug it back in. Very frustrating and I do not recommend. This is a known issue that Corsair has failed to fix or offer a swap/refund.

for the price point i feel like their are better headsets ICUE makes things easier for settng up EQ but still lacking in the surrond sound quality...

After a few months, non-stop cutting out, crashing, ICUE app doesn't help. Tried reinstalling several times. You get what you pay for. I had the same set since 2020 and it failed a few months ago. It even started breaking from these weak metal bits attaching to the ear pieces. Two years. Got another set and it had issues a few months into ownership.

Do not buy these headphones. I had these for a fewmonths before they started severely popping, crackling, and cutting in and out. After trying several software fixes and looking at forums for answers, I disovered that this is a common issue with these headphones. It's a shame, too, because for the short time they were working, they were fantastic. Very disappointed.

Bought this for my grandson. He absolutely loves it.

These headphones are big and heavy. and the adjustment bars are very stiff. not a good purchase. I should have knowm.

Connection with laptop is sketchy. I like to pace when I talk with students and it has a distance issue even though claims 40 feet on box.

Arrived in one day and works perfect! Easy set up.

for a headset under 100$ these are great. Sound is loud and clear for gaming, mic is surprising good sounding as well. and love the color. I do have some things that could have been better. Settings do not save in the headset. So if you go from one pc to another you would have the basic default settings. or the surround sound future wont work either. I would have like to seen a button or 2 more that allowed to change between equalizer settings, as well as to turn on surround. the cord to charge is ok length, but I would have liked it a little longer. I would also have liked it to be the new usb c instead a micro usb. the headset requires the usb dongle for wireless. you cant not plug these in and use. so if you must charge you will have to either buy a brick and plug into that, or use a second usb port on computer. it would be nice if the usb dongle at the end had a way to plug into it so you would not have to use another usb port. this is something that would be handy especially for laptops. or at least have allowed to use this headset plugged in and not wireless. I also have a higher end model of corsair. CORSAIR - VIRTUOSO RGB Wireless 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Over-the-Ear Headset for PC/Mac, Game Consoles, and Mobile - Gunmetal. the mic for both of these headsets plug in differently so I could not swap the mic out. kinda sad on that. as my virtuoso mic has a light on it to say when its muted. so with that, these only make a sound when you press the button to mute the mic, and for my headset at least, sometimes I don't hear the sound. or after a while cant remember if I muted or not. a light would have been nice to have as a indication that mic is muted. I also don't like that if I set the sidetone on for the mic so that I can hear myself when I speak, if I do mute the mic, that does not mute. I have also had a couple times hear like a crackling sound come thru and then cant hear anything like the sound cut out and then back on after a few seconds. never had that with other headsets. OK so those are some things I did not like. However I still love this headset over all. and use at the moment. so a few things I do like. Like I mentioned the sound is great. I have had a few headsets. I am not a sound guy, but I do love gaming. and for gaming these are one of the best sounding I have had. they give my higher end headsets (ones that are in the 200$ range) a run for there money. and they pretty much blow out headsets in the same price range. they have a pretty good overall sound. the mic sounds great. and it comes with a pop filter. have had a few compliments on how the mic sounds. I love how they look. I love the cream and black color. I believe they are open back which I like myself. my higher end are noise cancelling and it can get hard to hear things going on around me. with these, I can still hear the game great, but if the wife or kids call me for something I can hear that as well (at least enough so I know to remove headset). the software is easy to use, basic and I like that. the volume wheel on the headset does not turn your pc volume down. I personally like this myself. to me the build quality seems pretty sturdy. has numbers so if you adjust the headset to your liking you can check where and if someone else messes with them, easily adjust them back. overall, the negative issues I have, are things that would be nice if changed and are minor. the main things for me in a headset, sound, mic. those are great on this headset. one mention I will talk about. the wireless range is ok. I have headsets that say 50 feet. this says 40 feet. all of my headsets if I go to my front room, I lose connection. and its only 25 feet away. probably my place and walls. they all do this. but I can go to my dining room and all of my other ones reconnect. these I did have to get a little closer, in my kitchen before they re connected. my place is basically like a spiral. so I would imagine in most places the range on these are pretty good but just a bit less then other headsets. if you are looking at a headset that's in the 100$ range. I highly suggest these if you want great sound and a pretty decent mic to go with it. but keep in mind, you are limited to only being able to use if you use wirelessly. ( you can use while charging).
