Customers enjoy the Corsair HX1200 power supply's high power capacity and excellent quality. Many appreciate its quiet operation and reliable performance. However, some users found the included cables to be stiff and difficult to manage. Overall, the positive feedback on power, quality, and noise outweighs the concerns about cable management.

Excellent product. It powers my new 12900k/3090 build flawlessly. I've never had a corsair product let me down, let alone one of their power supplies. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to add some extra juice to those power hungry components.

Great power supply. I have always used Corsair power supplies and never had a problem with them. This should and be last power supply hopefully I will ever need. You can’t wrong with Corsair power supplies.

Got it on sale for $245, great value! It's Corsair so you get quality and the 10 year warranty.
Pros:
- Silent
- Platinum
- 1200 watts
- High quality sleeved cables
- Multi/Single rail switch
Major Con
- Only 4-5 PCIe ports available, since 1-2 will be used for CPU which is a little disappointing with the rumored Nvidia RTX 4000s PCIe/power requirements
Minor Cons
- "Stiffness" in the power cables can make them slightly unwieldy depending on configuration.
- Not a fan of the "loop" dual PCIe connection
- No 5th PCIe cable included, Corsair recently restocked but it took a while

This is my second HX 1200W I've purchased from Best Buy - works like a charm. Corsair PSUs have never given me any issue unlike many, many other manufacturers.

For the price you can't go wrong. The modular cables make it so much easier to route cables from the components to the PSU instead of the other way around.
Plenty of power.

Amazing PSU. I own three pc with the same power supply. Lights can flicker or go out for half a second and the pc is still running. Has never given me problems in all the years I've had them.

Unneeded, but needed. Great psu if u want high end and somewhat future proofing. I do recommend getting corsairs custom cable sleeve though as the main cables are stiff. having 3 8 pins in my 3080 just looked terrible.

So far, this PSU is a beast. I pull around 650-700watts while playing video games. Plus plat PSUs allow you to do more while pulling less wattage. Well worth the cost.

I am 100% satisfied with this PSU. Running an overclocked Ryzen 9 5900X and an overclocked XFX 6900xt black edition with no worries or issues.

Very large! Would have had to remove my HDD trays in order to make the cables fit. Ended up returning it instead and going with the 1000W option.

I love that most corsair power supplys use all the same cables. I had an RM850x in my PC but when I did that math that adding a 3080ti would put me dangerously close to 850 watts I knew I needed to upgrade. The great thing was that I could leave most of my cables in place and just plug then into this PSU. As a warning, do check the following site if you are considering doing the same, do check corsairs website for PSU power cable compatibility. Happy building!
