I installed this to replace and aging HX850I, and so far so good! Solid as I expect a Corsair PSU to be. Full modular capabilities are nice. There was one less PCIE power cord included with this set, but it was replaced with a dedicated 12v connector for newer video cards, so that is a compromise I can agree with. Solid PSU so far, will update the review if things change!

Corsair has been a solid mainstay for PC builders for years. I picked up this power supply for a new build as the reviews were mostly positive from many trusted tech reviewers. It was easy to install and everything worked great. For the price the value is solid. My only real complaint is that the cables feel a little less than premium compared to a few other brands, but about what you would expect for this price point, otherwise it would probably be 5 stars from me. The 10 year warranty on the HXI series is really what sold me, companies that stand behind their products are a must, and Corsairs RMA process is known to be solid if you have any issues.

Very nice looking product with modular connections. Used power supply to modify a alienware aurora r11 with strix motherboard. It actually fits perfectly in the location were old power supply fits. Overall nice build quality and perfect if you want something future proof.

We had to replace the power supply in a gaming computer again. We tried this based on a store associate recommendation. This is the third one we have tried and so far the best. The computer has never been this quiet. It's only been a month but so far so good.

I was experiencing power issues with my previous power supply unit (PSU). After much searching, I found this beauty. It was super simple to install/replace the original one and has been working like a champ ever since.

Worked really well with the Gigabyte Extreme motherboard plenty of cables and really liked the smaller sized cable bundles made wiring simple and neat.

Been using for a year. No issues. Keep in mind the new Corsair ATX 3.1 are no different than the 3.0.

So decided to buy this Platinum 1000 W pcu even i don't need such wattage. But for the future upgrade and quietness i would prefer have power reserve. As my system consumes up to 700-800w max in high so in simple tasks it's 200-300w so pcu stay in quite mode (fan off). Works beautifully for me so far, new computer booted on the first try. The power supply feels heavy and quality, and it is so quiet that I can't even hear it. I expect this to last me for a decade; don't cheap out on a PSU, it will save money in the long run!

Powers everthing with ease. Very quite even when pushing it. Considering it is usually bought to power high end PC it should come with the extra PCIe cables for the newer graphics cards.
