This should do the trick for the newer series cards that have yet to come out. Fully modular so no mess, and well its corsair!

All this and a heft price tag, no thanks.

Got it to upgrade from my EVGA 750 Gold watt psu and the first thing I noticed were the inferior cables. These cables are poor compared to the EVGA ones I had. Very thin cables with only the motherboard cable being braided. All my EVGA cables were braided and that one cost significantly less. Shame on Corsair for cheaping out on cables. The Ultra-Low noise doesn't seem to be incredibly accurate. It's for sure audible but it's tolerable. You definitely do hear this thing during bootup. It makes an audible sound everytime. Overall disappointed and wish I'd gone with a seasonic or evga again (just got it cause I had a corsair psu and pc case), and may just end up returning it.

Sorry to hear about your experience. The cables are designed to With Zero RPM Fan Mode, this PSU's cooling fan switches off entirely for near-silent operation at low and medium loads. It is normal for the fan to switch on upon power up. The HX1000i allows you to monitor power settings and toggle between single to multi-rail overcurrent protection (OCP) via our iCUE software.
