The power supply did not work out of the box. But because it was bought as a Christmas gift and it took weeks to get someone to figure out why the systems wasn't working, we missed the return window.

My Unit Seems to be a Dud..

Was upgrading my High Power 750W PSU to this fantastic HX1000i by Corsair. This is known to be a really good unit. But it seems I got a dud. Worked for about 5 minutes, then abruptly shut off and got stuck in a power cycle loop. Returned the PSU without any hassle, showed a video of the issue. I went ahead and ordered the Corsair RM1000x. I am now having 0 issues. Again, the HX1000i was probably a dud, but the RM1000x does the job perfectly at a much better price!
