This works super well. I would actually recommend this product. However, I would avoid buying it from Best Buy. Read below: I purchased a water cooling system for my computer (Corsair H60) online, which comes with the thermal paste pre-applied. When I received the box, it was not shrink wrapped, but I thought nothing of it. When I came home and opened the box, it was clearly used. The components were not in bags, the warranty manual was missing, and the quick start guide was rolled up with smudges on it. The part that made it incredibly clear this was previously used was the thermal paste. It was not a uniform square as it should be, but rather smudged around the bottom of the heat block, which clearly shows it had be placed on a CPU then removed. Either Best Buy intentionally sold a used product as new or someone returned their old part after keeping the new one. In the latter case, Best Buy seriously needs better quality control. Wasted 2 hours of driving time as well. Bottom line: pay very close attention to what you get from Best Buy as they may very likely sell you something used when you are expecting something new. Buyer beware! The version I bought October 4 2018 is most definitely NOT the current version. No LED pump. It’s as if you’re buying new old stock. I read reviews on other sites before purchasing this and had to buy a 120mm solution, as that is all my case will support without modification. It is quiet but only because I have an insulated Antec case without windows. Be cautioned that it only includes bare minimum screws for a single fan setup. The screws I used for a second push pull configuration had smaller threads than required. Now I have to spend more time and money finding compatible screws. Initially I was going to write a 3 Star review but am bumping this to a 2 Star experience. The instructions are simple, and if you’re installing one of these hopefully you have some technical ability with logical skills. It does the job cooling a 2011 AMD 8350 and before you judge my review for not having a Ryzen or modern i7, I bought this purely for the task of properly cooling a viable processor for entry level VR gaming using a GTX1060 GPU. I’m complacent but not impressed for the $70 spend.

It was easy enough to install and it looked to be a quality product as far as feel and material. The downside is for the price i only experience about 3-4 degrees of improvement, i didn't find that enough to justify the price or more importantly to improve performance. I would suggest a bigger radiator or go with a noctua cooler.

when first installed it did great. within a week temps started to rise. pump dead. overheated my pc to crash multiple times before i put aircooler back on and magic no crashes. love water cooling. just not this one

I think it was defective from the factory . Didnt move water very well.

All of the literature says that this cooler supports AM4 sockets right of the box, that is only technically correct. What it doesn't tell you is that you need to have the original fan "clip" brackets that came with your motherboard, all of the new AM4 processors come with different fan brackets that are NOT supported by this cooler. I had to rebuy the original brackets off of amazon to make this work. It would have been helpful to know this before purchasing.
