Great if you are using Corsair branded fans, or a Corsair AIO....If you have other brands of ARGB fans, you will have to make or pick up some adapter pigtails for the RGB connections. The centralized management of fan speeds and lighting within iCUE is great. Because it is part of the Corsair ecosystem, controlling it with a Stream Deck is super simple.

Honestly this thing helped my cable management extremely, not only does it work directly with the Corsair software, You can manage both your RGB and your fan speeds amongst other options.

Purchased for a friend that uses Corsair fans after using one myself in a new-build. This module allowed them to connect and control all their fans to a central location.
The iCue software works ok and is somewhat easy to set up, but is hot garbage when it doesn't work.
At the end of the day, if you're running strictly corsair fans in your build, this thing works. If you're starting a new build, I would recommend splurging on a Lian Li setup using their newer fans that connect to each other.

Takes away the hassle of you to think about how to connect your corsair rgb or non-rgb fans. Comes with all the necessary directions and the best part it is magnetic so it sticks to your case without the need of sticky tape (also provided)

This was bought to give myself the extra options that the one that came with the cooling system I bought which didn't have the option of temperature sensors other than the sensor on the pump along with having to add another fan and try to correct the issue of being able to use Corsairs Icue software for the RGB lighting on my system with the Cue profiles but sadly it still didn't fix that issue it is with in the software itself. Which I have talked to Corsair support about and have been told that the issue lies within either the coding of the profiles themselves or it was my keyboard which was a K95 Platinum XT at the time. I now own a K100 which was bought at Best Buy also and that didn't fix the issue either. But this will not stop me from buying Corsair products at all and maybe just maybe when the do finally bring out or should I say start selling the Link item to go with the software it might be fixed. The only pro that I personally can say is the fact it was east to install and setup. The only con is the fact it didn't fix the issue of the software not being compatible to the profiles that are out there and even on their website in the library they have there the only thing for lighting of theirs that does work for it is the murals or something you put together yourself.

Easy to install, nice way to daisy chain a bunch of new fans to an older MOBO and manage their RPMs in a reasonable way.

The Corsair commander core xt is in my opinion the best fan controller for Corsair rgb case fans,it’s better than the Corsair node controller as it also controls fan speeds for 6 case fans,it also has heat probes for the pc case,I have one installed in my asus helios case with Corsair rgb QL fans,I love that you can set up each fan separately,on the dashboard,if you use more than 6 fans use another separate Corsair commander xt to keep it simple,it will also control lighting strips

It's a bit large, but I managed to fit it into a Cooler Master NR200P (with power supply mounted in the front). I'm dual booting Windows and Pop!_OS Linux and needed something to run two extra fans at the bottom (four total).
The included fans with the case were going to put me over the mobo fan header power budget, so I needed something. This was on the store shelf.
This does store some sort of state after shutting down for static fan speed. I've got all the fans turning pretty slow.
If you're hoping to use this in Linux, there is a project out there that it might work with, but in case you just want to run a static speed on a good airflow case, this will work if you get into Windows first. :-)
The Windows experience is pretty good for the fans. I like the new iCUE software over what I had previously used. I can get a quick and easy to setup view of the fans. Haven't tried the RGB yet, but I'm sure it's pretty standard for the Corsair RGB game.
Cables for power and USB were long enough for my in this small ITX case, but in a larger tower case, you might need an extension. Would check for build pictures like your build first! The magnet was great for positioning it while building. I strapped it in with a velcro tie when finished.
Excited about the temp sensors. I might give them a go for the Linux angle and see if that works in Windows and Linux (without software).
At least a good thing to have around if you like building. Even if you don't end up using it in the long haul, would be great to have when you need a fan controller in a pinch!

works as intended, I definitely have not tapped into all it can do but it controls all of my fans in the computer with no struggle. I have about 7 fans hooked up to it, none of which have RGB or are Corsair but I’m sure that the customization is endless. It’s a bit pricey for what it is but gets the job done.

This is great if your going to have a lot of RGB fans to control. I've got 6 Corsair LL 120mm fans and using the ICUE software I can control both speed and colors. And the wiring is all kept hidden and only one USB connection to motherboard is needed instead of one having to connect every fan to your motherboard which makes for a cleaner presentation on what's visable in your glass panel case. And Best Buy sale price made it even better!

Works great! I was even able to hook up my non-corsair CPU fan, with an adapter from Amazon, to the RBG port, so all 7 fans in my case are controlled by this 1 controller and the effects syncronize!

A must if you want to use Corsair iCue, and it really cleans up the cable managment, all 6 of my fans run back to this rather than the 6 fan headers. I even had an issue with the first one I was sent and Corsair support handled it super quick, and the new one works perfectly.

It took some investigating on how to connect it propery but this is a good product that connected to my Corsair fans properly. Be sure to use the COrsair icue app on your computer to allow the lights to opperate correct on your PC.

Needed it to control my Corsair 6 SL 120 case fans, so if you going to buy pack of 3 you'll need a Corsair Commander. The pack only has a hub to control thr RBG lights the commander gives you two heat sensors to place in your case. Which helps with controlling the speeds when gaming or regular use.

Works as intended and provides a lot of additional fan outputs for bigger cases. My has 12 fan slots, so I plugged them all in. Computer is cool and the software to control the fans is easy to use.

The software doesn't exactly give the hardware justice. The commander core helped me install the fans a lot easier, especially with lack of ports on the motherboard. The hub itself is magnetic in case you don't want it hanging.

A must for one stop fan & light control. Easy install. Although, it's sensory overload with all the lighting options. Not a bad thing. Once I find a cool light scheme, I end up finding another just as cool. Too many choices.
