It has 6x rgb and 6x fan ports making it really easy ti manage all of your fans and rgb lighting through your desktop.

The pics I attached are the two PCs I run with the commander core. The open air case only uses 3 fans and the sff build has 7 LL series fans with one splitter to run two of them on one port. Works flawlessly. Core is way smaller than the pro and 6x6 power/rgb. Simply better.

Single iCUE device simplifies setup

It controls RGB lighting and fan speed. In my previous computer build, I used separate Corsair devices to control lighting and fans. This greatly simplified the new computer build setup. As a result, none of the iCUE controllers that came in 3 fan pack were used.

I had no problems so far since my new build. Love it and definitely recommend for those pc nerds like me lol.

The ICUE software that is used to control the device is okay but needs better instructions to configure it.

I got it for my itx case since i thought it would be a great idea to put a 4070 in it and i NEEDED all four case fans in that easy bake oven.

If it’s anything like the one with the AIO it’s easy to use and helped keep the cables in order. On the mother board only had to connect the USB while keeping the fan cables on the back side.

One hub to control both the fans and RBG. Not sure why it took them this look to release this. Especially when they were including them for free with their Elite Cappelix AIOs for awhile now. Simplifies your set-up.

Corsair uses a lot of lighting so organizing all of them in a single block is helpful. You also get two temperature probes which can be useful if you need them.

I have two 120mm fans on my modified GPU so I bought this to control those fans using GPU temps and the rest of my case fans are using the CPU temp. Also nice that each fan can be controlled individually and set to different curves. A few bad things I experienced was the software would not detect one of the fans even though it powered that same fan, I am not using a lot of RGB fans but you have to use Corsair fans to be able to use the RGB plugs. Maybe one day they can make one just for fan control?? I like the fan hub and the option to control how each fan spins but the price was high since I am only using fans and not the RGB. Haven’t found any other fan hub with the fan options so I’ll keep the commander core but if one day I am able to get one with just fan ports then this one is out.

Thank you for the feedback, the Commander Core XT was designed for use with Corsair RGB Fans connections specifically. Are you having issues detecting a connected Corsair fan? Have you tried swapping the connection to the working port to see if that original port is having issues? Overall, worth the money to manage multiple fans and lighting effects!
