It is unclear that an additional lead must be installed to power up both the fans and the water pump. The fans do light up with a default pattern even without system software installed.

The issue is this unit has a Coolit pump instead of Asetek. The minimum pump speed RPM on Quiet mode is 2400 rpm. At this speed the AIO emits a high pitch frequency similar to a dog whistle. I really loved the system but it gives me a ringing in the ears and a headache whenever I turn on my computer. So I do not advise you purchase this item. This is why I returned it for an Asetek pump rpm that lets you go low rpm on the pump.

RPM is ,while corelated, not fully relevant to noise. Sounds like you just had a faulty pump.

The whole system feels over complicated for no reason. Should not have to rely on a system hub and multiple USB connections to get a proper signal to the pump. Very disappointed.
