Overall if your looking for something to add a bit of color to your computer setup then this might be a good starting point just for ease of use and setup alone. There are a multitude of lighting options and patterns to choose from as well as being able to set each LED individually if that's the sort of thing you go for. Also the build quality for these is very very good. The metal base and housing make this feel like a premium setup and the base is compact enough that it should be easy enough to find room for them. However even with all the good, there is a few areas where I think they lack a bit. While the towers are more than bright enough if you have them facing you directly if you wanted to use them as wall lighting or face them away from you the diffused light lacks a little bit of power overall in that aspect so it can be hard to even tell they are on if you have them faced away (other than the base light). Granted I don't think they are really intended to be ambiance lights so if you use them as pictured (facing you) you will probably never see this issue. The only other real complaint I have is that the "headphone stand" part is a real afterthought. The entire base and light assembly is metal (or feels metal) and heavy and feels premium, then there is this headphone hook that is cheap feeling plastic. I think at the price point for these they could have at least included a light metal bracket piece for the headphones to make it feel like it was meant for the kit not just an add on.

The CORSAIR - iCUE LT100 Smart Lighting Towers are aboslutley awesome. They are super bright, very colorful and easy to set up with the iCUE software. After following the included setup guide, you will want to make sure you have the latest iCUE software downloaded. Once everything is plugged in you will need to do a firmware update and you should be good to go. There are plenty of lighting options and modes to choose from. I personally use Video Lighting mode while gaming so the lighting matches what is on my screen. VERY cool feature! The software is pretty robust especially if you have multiple Corsair products to customize. One of the coolest features is how when you shut off your PC the light towers continue to illuminate. If you want to change the lighting pattern or shut it off completely, there is a physical button on the tower platform to do so. So far I haven't had any problems with the towers disconnecting or any other issues at all. I've been very pleased thus far! The iCUE$ LT 100 has to be one of my favorite lighting accessories in my set up. With polished software, well built hardware and the Corsair name, you can't go wrong. I definitely recommend this product to any gamer in the market for more RGB!

The iCUE LT100 has got to be one of the products of the year. These towers are amazing. One of my favorite things to own. Now I want more RGB's for my home. It kind of reminds me of owning a lava lamp way back. If you already have RGB lighting on your keyboard or something else then you need to get these. This is currently the only RGB product that I own but plan on getting more. At first I thought it might be powered by just USB but it's not. You have to use the included power adapter. There is a flat cord that connects the two towers together. You can have only one tower active if you want but the one that doesn't have a power connection can't be used alone. The lights go all around the base and one strip up the center of the tower. Once powered up it has it's own light show configuration so you don't have to have it connected to a PC to work. Display seems to be a multi-colored up. Then a multi-colored pulse. Then a multi-colored up on one side and then up on the other. Then a flashing solid color on and off. Then a multi-colored section that goes up on one side then down the other. Then a flashing color of red that has a dimmer red between nodes. Then two solid one colored. When you plug it in to a PC and download the iCUE software you can get some customization. It comes with six default scenes installed. The first effect is Rainbow Wave that displays every color in a pulsing up effect. The 2nd scene is Rain which flashes colors in sections. The 3rd is Visor that bounces colors up and down. The other ones are just solid colors. You can download a few more quickly by adding scenes. One is called Spiral Rainbow. It pulses solid colors. Another is just called Rainbow that slowly changes solid colors. The next one is Color Shift which seems close to Rainbow but faster. Color Pulse is exactly the name. Color wave is also pretty much the same as name that has solid colors rolling up the tower. One called Type Lighting which I assumed would flash only while typing but did nothing. The last one is called CPU Temperature which matches the CPU's temperature. The dashboard will also display some information about your PC's battery, RAM and Processor. You can also control the brightness through the iCUE software. Get one now!

Worst product that Corsair makes. Set up was a pain. I had to go to youtube to see how to get the set working. After about two months they quit working and Corsair customer support is no help.

      Hi Yeah,

Sorry to hear that it stopped working, could you check to ensure that the towers are properly seated still? They may loosened their connection and need to be properly installed into the base. If you're still experiencing issues, please feel free to contact our support team: support.corsair.com

I got these thinking they would be cool behind my monitor for ambient effects while gaming/watching movies on my ultrawide monitor. What I hadn't taken into account is that these are stand-based and my monitor is on an articulating arm. This made may layout super critical and added footprint to how I would set these lights up. I was surprised at how small the stands were - Very small footprint for how tall they are. They installed in seconds and were able to connect to their software experience perfectly on the first try. The cool thing is that the bars on the towers are reversible, so I was able to plug them in to face the wall, so that the lighting could be ambient and no direct facing the monitor. This setup looks great. If you're looking for a color system to start with, iCUE seems to have great config options and an ecosystem of products to keep in sync. Highly reccomend the software!

What a beautiful addition to my gaming setup! These are nestled right next to my monitors and sync up perfectly with my RGB setup! I didn't think I needed more RGB until I got these and now I am in love! Even have a great spot to hang my gaming headset! Of every product I own this is by far the most unique and just adds a touch to my game room that I never knew I needed!

In terms of functionality, i have to say these light towers are pretty awesome. The Corsair software allows for a lot of customization and can integrate into other compatible products so your whole lighting rig is coordinated. Where it fell short for me is the awful directions that came with the unit. It took me 45 min to figure out the towers needed to click down hard into the stands in order to get them to light up and for both towers to recognize. This seems silly but the directions are beyond tiny and extremely vague in 10 languages.

I am totally into Corsairs eco system but I've been on the fence a while about adding some of the "extra" things such as these lights. Well I can advise anyone now that I've had them that you are ok to buy these, you will be happy with them. Installation is easy and fast, even in iCue. Then the lights themselves are larger than you'd think, they are diffused so you don't see individual rgb lights and they really work great to give you the effects you desire, thanks to having so many actual LEDs in each tower. My only issue is I waited this long, these things rock. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ALL!!

Nice Way to Add some fun to your Setup

Overall this is a neat way to add some LED RGB Light to your setup and have something you can have as a fun reward for your Twitch Chat to redeem to change for a bit of fun or making it look spooky or whatever you need for your stream I wish they included two Headphone caps for each tower instead of one because I sometimes Coop with my SO, so having another place to hang up headphones on both would have been handy. Additionally for the next revision a charging port on both would be handy too so I could control recharging the Wireless headphones without running another cable would make this perfect. Seutp is easy, but I do recommend you do use a bit more force then you think you need to get it going, but once you do, using iCUE you can have a lot of fun with it. Overall if you want some extra to add some light to your setup, then this is definitely something fun you can use.

Bright, Vivid, and Beautiful-with a flaw

The Corsair tower headset stand looks amazing with it’s bright and vibrant colors you may have been accustomed to from your other Corsair products. That aesthetically pleasing finish is added into the towers. But just like the spaghetti that Corsair fans bring, these add a series of 3 cables to your desk area. Those are a standard power adaptor, 6 pin fan style headers, and micro USB. The base of the primary unit features a small button, which according to the manual is a mode switching button. However, I’ve never been able to get it to work except during boot, before the iCUE profiles take over. The tower lights themselves have 2 sets of 4 pin fan header style pins and a notch to guide the lamp base when plugging in. The manual states they can be used facing toward or away from the desk but I’ve found that facing them away was the best option. They even made me wonder if I could use the tower lights with a product like Phillips Hue for immersive lighting. It was interesting to find that such integration was already in iCUE, which I had never seen before so was pleasantly surprised to find. After pairing with my Hue bridge I quickly learned of it’s limitations. I tend to believe this to be a Hue limitation and not iCUE. The biggest annoyance about this product and why it isn’t a 5 star product is because it undergoes a fresh start of sorts every time it comes on. By that I’m referring having to run the setup for the towers at almost every boot. The profile settings are all there according to iCUE, but only 1 of the towers shows up until the wizard it ran. The second issue and another annoyance, the towers are rather finicky when it comes to power. If for whatever reason the towers are powered, plug in the power supply into an outlet for example, the towers will turn on even if the pc is off. This was annoying during testing as the power strip I initially used with these is on a timer which powers on/off phone chargers at times I am typically at the desk. This would cause them to come on at scheduled times and while the pc wasn’t in use. I ended up figuring that running power to them constantly would be the right way to go with them. Well I was wrong there, leaving them on power after the pc was shut down resulted them in turning on under the default mode, or what I’ll just call demo mode as it cycles through various flashing styles. This resulted in returning back to the original setup method with the scheduled power strip. I would have to just remember to turn on the smart switch when I got on the pc. The last piece which must be mentioned as the product is labeled for such use. The headset holder is rather cheap and lacks the Corsair quality I’ve come to expect. For comparison, I previously purchased a generic screen edge mount from a Chinese web store for about $3 and both are on par in quality These fit my headsets 2” band just fine and holds them securely while keeping them at arms reach. Overall these are still a nice addition to any desk that wants to add some flashing color as long as you can get past the power mentions.

      Hi DJSmooth,

This is correct, the tower is designed to be able to power on separate from a PC and run without one active. We are sorry to hear that one of the towers wasn't always recognizing when you boot the system, please feel free to reach out to our support team so we can work with you directly: support.corsair.com

My gaming rig is lit-up like a Christmas Tree - this set lets you add a little more ambient lighting to the mix while sticking to the Corsair ICue lighting application that the rest of my setup uses. Enclosed is everything you need to hook up both lighting towers and get up and running. You can face the lighting towards you or go the indirect-lighting route, facing the wall to help add a glow to the room without being so "in your face" with the lights. Personally, I went with the indirect lighting route - gives the room somewhat of a "warp core" type lighting that crawls upward, looking like the engineering section of the Enterprise. Great addition to any setup though that has lighting - definitely a must have!

These tower lights are a good step for corsair, they look good with a few customizable options, leds are good and work well with ICue software, only issues is wish they had more color options for the bases to better theme with other elements of a room

    Micro USB, a Calculon story.

The year was 2021, I was looking for some nice light sticks to illuminate my desk area and wall for my stream. I quickly hopped on my iPad and went to BestBuy.com to find something to satiate my lighting needs. Once browsing I found myself face to face with the CORSAIR iCUE LT100 Smart Lightning Tower Starter Kit - RGB and so I bought them with haste! ALLAS THEY ARRIVED SPORTING MICRO USB IN THE YEAR 2021!!!! I fell to my knees and with a thunderous cry I let out a dramatic, “NOOOOOO N O O O!”. That’s the end of my story, Corsair should be ashamed of themselves for putting Micro USB on any product but especially one that cost $129.99. You have lost me as a customer, get it together and stop being cheap.
