I recently got a custom PC that comes with MEK 3 LT Mechanical Keyboard. I do like that KB but I wanted just 1 app to control all the RGB And because I have Corsair AIO and the 140mm fans which uses icue that is why I decide to get this KB and also their M65 mouse.
Always use the full size, this is the first I am trying for the TKL. It will takes a while to get use to due to my habit of using the numpad often.
Overall it's nice and typing is smooth.

A Brilliant Small Form Factor Gaming Keyboard

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
The Corsair K60 Pro TKL is a fantastic small form factor gaming keyboard. I have used a lot of keyboards in my day, but this has to rank among the best. I was a little worried that it would be too cramped for my taste, but it is actually just the right size. I’ve been using it for gaming and work and have been extremely satisfied with this keyboard in both instances.
While playing fast action games like Neon White and Dota 2, I never felt impeded by this keyboard. In fact I felt accelerated by it. I knew that the millisecond that my finger pressed down on a key, that key press was registered. The key press is definitely a smoother shorter travel than a harder fast switch. I came from a much harder, click-ier switch. I thought the change would be jarring, but I love how these feel.
I find it hard to find an issue with the Corsair K60 Pro TKL. They have gotten almost everything right from big things like key travel to small things like the default RGB settings aren’t flashy and annoying. My one gripe doesn’t affect the main purpose of the keyboard which is… typing, however it is with the iCUE software. I like to think I know my way around a computer (have a Master’s in Computer Science), but I struggled awhile with iCue to get it to register the keyboard in Windows. It was plug and play to get the keyboard typing, but to get to the fun RGB software it took some time and tinkering. It eventually did work, but it took longer than I expected. While it does support MacOS, the software is simply an SDK where you would have to plugin your own code to adjust lighting or rely on the software you’re using to adjust lighting.
Overall it is a fantastic keyboard that I am loving. There are few, very small gripes that I have. If you are looking for a small form factor keyboard, this is the one! Now I just need to upgrade my mouse…
Pros:
- Smooth, comfortable, and satisfying key travel/click
- Fast key response, the key is registered before my brain can even register the click
- Compact design without feeling cramped
- Sturdy aluminum frame construction feels solid
- Xbox Series S/X compatibility
- USB Type C detachable connection
- Robust RGB control
- Adjustable legs for keyboard height flexibility
Cons:
- iCue Software being finicky, MacOS Software support isn’t there for the average consumer
- This is more of a situational con, but if you work and game at the same station, you might miss the ten key number pad. But if you do, then they have a K60 Pro for you already!
- Again, more situational, I do also miss dedicated media keys and other functions but they are easy to get used to as FN shortcuts.

Solid TKL OPX experience at an affordable price

So there's a few things to keep in mind with this keyboard. If you're not used to a "fast" actuating switch like these at 1.0mm then you WILL make tons of typing errors right off the bat. Just know that the learning curve is fairly steep with this as you cannot lazily type or rest your fingers because it will actuate the keys and create errors or mis-pressed buttons in game. Trust though it is worth it in the end when you do get used to it as everything is just easier.
Off the bat this is an excellent keyboard on par with all the other more recent corsair has released, which is awesome. Normally the K60 versions of the keyboards are watered down versions of the k70 line up. This though without media keys (has Fn functions for them instead) looks and feels premium to the touch. First thoughts on the keyboard itself is that the build is spot on where it should be. The cable it comes with feels a little cheap but that's to be expected, and keep in mind you may use any USB C cable you have because it is detachable.
The key caps unfortunately are ABS plastic and that comes with the look and feel of such aka higher pitch sound when typing, sticky feeling to the skin etc. I highly recommend you invest in pbt keycaps if you go with this as its a night and day difference in feel in use. Corsair makes a great set themselves and there are several others available upon search for double shot PBT keycaps.
The entire point of having a switch that actuates this high up on the press so you can perform in-game actions that much faster. This is done well with the newer OPX optical switches they use on this. They feel VERY smooth when in use and I dare say they feel extremely similar to the praised smooth omni point switches on a competitors board.
The sound on this is as you would think on a K60 variant whereas with the ABS keycaps its not a deep sound but more of a higher pitched, again can be changed out easily to the PBT keycaps to resolve. There is no foam in the case and with a plastic bottom plate it creates a hollow noise common with a lot of keyboards these days but the overall sound is not overwhelming by any means. The stabs on this are actually very good except the spacebar which still has the standard corsair "rattle" to it. Again, this can be resolved if you are a tinker type and wish to lube them this takes the slack right up and makes this thing sound great!
The RGB is VERY good as are most with ABS keycaps like these. The shine is perfect and the switches on the aluminum top plate make for a great visual experience.
The adjustment on the bottom is only 8 degrees so keep that in mind if your one that likes a different slant to your board.
Overall im not that much a fan of a super fast switch like these at 1.0mm i much prefer a switch at least 1.5mm but i can say with the buttery smooth opx switches and a decent actuation force this didn't take that long to get used to to stop making the initial errors i was making while typing and gaming. Once you do get past that point you'll find yourself just saying to yourself that you can sure crank on these keys because it feels just good to use. With an industry leading 8k polling rate and these switches makes for an ultra fast experience for sure. At this price point I highly recommend this along with a set of pbt keycaps to go with and for the ultimate package look into some modding if you really want to quiet down the stabilizers.

After receiving this keyboard I was so excited to try it out! Surprisingly I was able to use it with my Android galaxy tablet as well as our xbox gaming system! When plugged in, it lights up in a beautiful rainbow of colors that make it easy to see and use. The keys are floating and easy to press, navigate and type with! I love that it automatically recognized my device and i didnt have to jump through hoops for my device to connect to it. When typing you are provided with a comfort and no strain on your fingers and wrists. It makes working and gaming a breeze. It recognizes what you are typing extremely fast making it quality and efficient when im working. I also love how it is a good size and lightweight. Its easy to use wherever i am and can easily be used on the go. When gaming, the keys are all easy to use and comprehensive for your moves that you need to make. My 8 year old also loves using ot to play roblox on my tablet. Tgis keyboard makes it so much easier for him to play opposed to using the tpuch screen or s-pen. He is able to play faster and navigate through the game at ease with this keyboard. Overall, this keyboard provides a fast and efficient typing experience for work and gaming as well as a well built quality keyboard when you need.

Best of both worlds; Gaming and work from home!

TLDR:
The best keyboard I've used for both gaming and work! With function keys that light up as well as their secondary functions; Media Controls, etc. plus it has a dedicated print screen button, scroll lock (I'll get into scroll lock in my story version) and pause break button. It feels great to type on, the keys feel physically soft, almost satin like. Doesn't feel like cheap plastic. Switches offer great resistance and tactile feel. Definitely recommended! I'd say one of Corsairs best! Hits all the right marks for me!
Pros:
-Quality all around
-Great Typing sound
-Soft key caps feel nice
-Great switches - offer resistance, doesn't feel squishy as well as tactile feedback
-RGBs are bright
-Looks aluminum, but is plastic
-Dedicated Print Screen, Scroll Lock, and Pause Break Buttons (Great for remapping to Audio Switcher; Switching from Headset to Speakers, etc.)
-Simply just looks good!
Cons:
-USB Cable sticks out too much, wish they recessed the USB port so only the cable showed
-Wish they used actual aluminum instead of making the plastic look aluminum
-At the time of review, oddly not in iCUE 4 for some reason
-Wish it had dedicated media buttons
My story version:
I was looking for something that would be a great gaming keyboard and double as my work keyboard when I work from home. I had a Razer keyboard and it was great for gaming but horrible for typing anything had words in it. Then got a Logitech keyboard and it was also good, this time great for gaming and typing, but it didn't have a dedicated print screen button nor did it have a scroll lock button and was incredibly difficult to see the secondary key functions! None of the F Keys lit up. The media controls were mapped to some F keys but didn't light up, brightness, mute, Windows Lock, etc., all didn't light up. Logitech thought it was a good idea to print the icons on the bottom side of the key caps. The side that faces you at least, but it was and still is terrible! It was great when you had light in the room, not so much when you didn't. Print screen is important for me using Snagit for technical documentation writing, so needed dedicated button for that. Scroll Lock was great for my PowerShell script for when I needed to take a break, but wanted to keep my Microsoft Teams "green" or prevent it from going "idle". So the script would just sit there and press the scroll lock button on and off again every few minutes, but would activate by simply pressing the scroll lock button. The PowerShell script was mapped to that button. Sure I could get a keyboard with macro keys, but I found that sometimes the home software, iCUE, Razer, Logitech G, etc. would take over the macro buttons.
Final Thoughts:
I love this keyboard!!! It offers everything I want for every scenario and doesn't seem to have too many inconveniences either.

Amazing Addition to my setup

The Corsair K60 Pro TKL keyboard is impressive and it is a great addition to my gaming setup. The keyboard is superfast and it responds perfectly with the Optical Mechanical key switches; I am enjoying it every time. The keyboard is compact, I can use it while I am at home and I can take it with me so I can continue on my laptop. It is very easy to connect to either because it has a USB Type C connection so I can unplug and connect as fast. I like the feel of the keyboard; it is sturdy with its aluminum frame and the polycarbonate keycaps feel strong and comfortable at the same time. The Keyboard looks so cool with the different colors and the presents are, watercolor, color pulse, color shift, color wave, rain, rainbow, spiral rainbow, and these can be accessed from the keyboard FN+1 to 0. And the colors and keyboard can be customized using the ICue. I just downloaded the ICue 4 and right away the program recognized the keyboard and other parts of my Computer, from here I can customize the colors, effects as well as program the keys. We are enjoying the keyboard.

Extremely solid red-switch keyboard!

This keyboard has been a pleasant surprise! As a person who is on the computer for a solid chunk of the day, I can confidently say that using this keyboard has been a dream. The build quality of the keyboard has been my favorite part for sure, with a metal build and a good weight to the keyboard, it feels like a premium experience using the keyboard. The keyboard keys use red switches, which essentially mean when using the keyboard, pressing the keys will feel extremely responsive and tactile, while not making a lot of clicking "noise" like some other keyboards can, and this definitely is the case for this keyboard. This is for sure one of the best red-switch keyboards I have ever used (I traditionally use clicky brown switches and even enjoy using this keyboard almost exactly the same!), it's hard to beat a solid build quality and extremely responsive keys! The keyboard also has great RGB per-key lighting, which means you can light the keyboard to your heart's content by pressing the FN key and the number 1 - 0 on the keyboard to cycle through cool pre-made lighting patterns! I haven't been able to get the iCue keyboard customization software to recognize the keyboard unfortunately, so I haven't been able to customize keyboard, but because the keyboard is so nice this hasn't bothered me at all. The keyboard is tenkeyless too, meaning it doesn't have a number pad on the right attached, but if you like a compact, sleek keyboard, this keyboard definitely does the job. Get this keyboard if you have the opportunity, it gives a solid typing experience, has a great key layout, looks great on a desk and works fantastic!

This Corsair K60 Pro Tenkeyless optical-mechanical RGB keyboard is everything a gamer could want in a keyboard. It’s compatible with PC, Mac, and XBox too. It makes the “clicking” noise I have come to love in a keyboard. The backlighting is awesome, and it has the Corsair CUE interface. The iCUE is per key, so that during games the lighting goes along with the game, and you can create lighting effects that are both game specific and in a flash with onboard keys using the FN key. Also the FN key allows you to control media playback (volume, back, pause, forward), and the the lighting. It has a USB Type C removable cord too. That allows you to unplug it and makes it easier to take on the go. I used this with my PC and my XBOX, but mostly my PC. I also use it with my gaming laptop, as it’s a lot better than using the attached laptop keyboard. The games I have played using this keyboard are: Overwatch, World of Warcraft, Diablo, COD. The keyboard was easy to transition to from my old one. I’d recommend this keyboard for gamers, especially when you have minimal space and need a smaller keyboard.

I was searching for a compact keyboard that had mechanical responsive keys to allow me to feel the keys upon typing on them. I have always found for large hands, mechanical keys stand out better and easier to type on. I decided to try this keyboard after reading other reviews and glad I did. I am very impressed with the responsiveness of the keys and how bright the keyboard is. The setup is extremely easy, pretty much "plug n play". It is basic layout using the FN key to control the volume, brightness, etc. I do like how light this keyboard is to allow for easier transport. It makes it perfect for traveling in a small carry case. The quality of the product is pretty impressive as well. The keys are plastic however they do not scratch easily and dont have marks on them after long period of use. The lights are both the keys and background under the keys as well. As for cleaning, the keys are spaced out just enough to allow for easy cleaning. Overall I do enjoy this keyboard and recommend this keyboard to try out for anyone how enjoys using mechanical keys

Beautifully Lit Keyboard

This is a beautiful keyboard! The LED lighting comes on when the computer comes on and stays on and lights through the letter area of the key caps and around them. The keyboard cable is just very slightly thicker than a regular keyboard cable. It is wrapped in a smooth braid and is easy to flex and is long. I also like the USB port on the rear edge of the keyboard. This is the perfect place to plug in a wireless USB plug for the mouse. This keyboard is used for average office work and personal work. I absolutely love this keyboard, I have found out that I type so much faster and make less typos. The colors were a added bonus they are beautiful I like how you can customize the color scheme to your liking. I love how the keys feel smooth & sound when you type. Overall I love the keyboard it is absolutely gorgeous keyboard for my gaming PC. I’ve never seen a design quite like this, with the top plate being completely lit with RGB lights. Nice membrane gaming keyboard and if you play mostly at night, the colors are wickedly awesome!

Great for gaming, YMMV with typing

This review is written from the perspective of someone who doesn't normally use gaming keyboards or mechanical keyboards. The keyboard does feel like it's made with good quality - the cherry mx switches have a snappy, tactile response to them. This is clearly great for gaming as you need that sort of feedback when pressing your keys. Moreover, the keyboard just has this durable feel to it. Not normally a fan of RGB lighting, but the lighting on this keyboard is rather bright if you're into that sort of feature.
However when it comes to typing like a normal keyboard, I find the keyboard a bit lacking. Keep in mind this is coming from someone who normally uses keyboards with flat keys. There seems to be a bit of a learning curve when typing with taller keys. Nevertheless, I keep on finding myself making a lot of typos. Sometimes I feel like the keys are too sensitive, mostly the 's' and 'l' keys. It can't just be my typing since I normally use three other keyboards without an issue. Of course the biggest difference is that this one has taller keys. If you're someone who is used to using a keyboard with taller keys, you might be able to ignore this section, but I'm writing from a perspective of someone who wants to use a mechnical/gaming keyboard with tall keys for the first time.
Overall, a great keyboard for gaming no doubt. However when it comes to normal typing, you may find yourself making a lot of mistakes if this is your first keyboard with taller keys.

I LOVE this keyboard. The thing itself is solid, but its also small enough to fit on my desk with my drawing tablet. Spot on FAST version of the Corsair K60 !

This keyboard is well built and extremely fast. If you have not used a keyboard with optical
switches yet, I promise this will completely ruin your treasured mechanical switch keyboard experience.
Overall impression -
I spend a large portion of my day typing due to cloud development - Visual studio, Teams, Emails etc... All before I touch a single
game. The new generation of optical switch keyboards has outmoded all of my old favorites, including a K70 with red switches.
As of 2022 - Going back to purely mechanical switches feels like trying to run with boots on !
The corsair switches used on this keyboard are ideal for any user or gamer. Light touch typists can enjoy the incredibly short 1mm Actuation. The rest of
us like myself who can't stop ..."durability testing" (absolutely mashing the keys) should enjoy improved accuracy.
Lighting -
Corsair Cue2 allows you do whatever you can dream up as the keys are individually addressable. The stock keycaps are
"shine through" for the symbol on the key. The clear switches create a nice glow effect without any bright points
of light - even when viewed at an angle or eye near level.
Key compatibility -
The switches use "+" style keycaps. The stock ones are fine but you can swap them out for whatever you like. If you check
the pics attached to this review - I swapped to a set of Hyper-X Doubleshot PBT caps.
Gaming -
I tried this out on a variety of PC Games. No ghosting, no double strikes as expected. Great !
Pros:
These switches are FAST FAST FAST !
1mm switch actuation = Fast touch typing - especially for "light touch" typists !
Compact frame with great build quality !
Cons:
Standard USB only - No USB to USB-C Piggyback connector included
Default Lighting Scheme = Exploding Flamingoes at near sun level brightness

A very, very fast keyboard for gaming, great value

I have a lot of keyboards. My favorites are Drop ALT/CRL with brown keys. That gives you a baseline of where I stand when it comes to keyboards. I have keyboards specifically for gaming, and this one is a good one. This keyboard uses Cherry MX Silver keys, and they are FAST, so be careful if you buy this keyboard and like to set your fingers on the keys. They will register. You barely need to touch the keys to get a keystroke, so if your twitchy while playing, you probably won't be able to blame the keyboard not getting a press at the right time.
I'm a fan of the TKL layout. TKL stands for "Ten Key-Less." The only reason you would want ten-key when gaming is if you game left handed (I DO but can live with this layout). The layout is much bigger than boards like the ALT, but smaller than a Drop CTRL. I would say it's just small enough to bring with you on gaming travels. There's no case, and it does require a cable because it doesn't have wireless anything. An app you can download is how you adjust the lighting and other options.
Now, for typing... this keyboard doesn't work for me because it's so sensitive. You only really need the lightest of touch so if you miss even slightly, you'll get multiple key presses. If you tend to type lightly, this will be a good keyboard for you.
There is positive feedback when you press down on every key, but it's not clacky like a Cherry blue or brown... it's a muted click. It's still louder than if you decide to use key switch rubber ring bumpers. If you want a silent key, I highly suggest you buy some and install them immediately.
The case of the keyboard is solid. It's made of a light aluminum, so although it's not a heavy keyboard, it still seems durable. It however doesn't scream quality either, which is a weird thing in a product. A lot of it has to do with the gamer glyphs and typeface Corsair uses on the keyboard. I'm not really a fan.
The keys themselves are light and decent quality, but they don't have any grit to them so I assume they'll get oily over time. This does not seem to be doubleshot or other higher manufacturing tier key.
If you're coming from a membrane keyboard or butterfly like a Mac or Surface, you will find it hard to type on. You really need to use a light touch, but I can see someone getting used to it and getting really fast. There is no friction on the switches, it's very linear, so you aren't going to get a positive feel out of it unless you bottom out the stroke.
When I'm not gaming, I do a lot of Excel so I can't afford errant keystrokes. I found that working with this keyboard was dangerous for precision or editing. I can't tell you how many times I had a wayward "k" or "d" inserted somewhere. If you're oldschool and keep your hands resting on the home keys, it might become infuriating.
- Good value, I'm surprised by the price!
- Good action for GAMING
- Not great for productivity
- no case... for a board that would be a good traveler

I have had many gaming keyboards over the past few years, but this one definitely stands out in features! As my first ever ten-keyless keyboard, it was a little strange to see the number pad missing (I sometimes have to do a lot of number entry for work). However, after a few days I got used to it. The mechanical switches are super responsive and feel great combined with the keycaps - these Cherry switches are SUPER bright compared to previous keyboards I have used, and it is useful to have the on-board memory profiles to set the lighting without having to install any software. The function key symbols are dimmer than the actual F1, F2, F3, etc., and thats totally fine for me. On top of that, having a detachable USB-C cable (that ends in USB-A) is a welcome addition - a feature lacking in many keyboards. Finally, the caps/num/scroll lock indicators are on the lower right side, which is a unique design touch. Along with the metal top plate, this keyboard feels and sounds great. My only slight criticism is that these switches are much louder than the heavily damped optical mechanical ones on my Razer Huntsman V2 Linear, though not in an unpleasant way.

The Corsair K60 PRO TKL is a very solid keyboard that offers a lot for smaller form factor keyboards. I previously owned the K70 RGB mk2 with brown switches and was worried that I wouldn't like the OPX key switches but wow are these things fast. I'm not the biggest fan of the sound of the keyboard, but I think the smoothness and speed of the switches more than makes up for that. I've been testing them out in my favorite games like Apex, and everything feels extremely responsive and quick. There was little bit of adjusting period where I actually had to get used to the light and fast key switches but its definitely worth the effort as everything feels so much quicker now.
The overall feel and quality of the keyboard is amazing, the keyboard is nice and light while still feeling nice and sturdy as its made out of a clean aluminum frame. Also, not sure if they upgraded the RGB LEDs but it looks a lot cleaner and brighter than my K70. The K60 PRO TKL is also connected by a USB-C cable which is detachable which is super convenient for travel and storage.
Overall, it's another solid keyboard from Corsair and I'm more than happy with this product.

Good option for a premium TKL Gaming Keyboard

The Corsair K60 Pro TKL is a very nice keyboard overall. This was my first time using a TKL keyboard which took a while to get used to as I use my numpad frequently. I am not letting that affect my overall rating though as I understand a lot of people don't use it at all. I only took a star away because after looking at other keyboards on the market, I do not believe that this keyboard holds a strong value at $130. I believe the best price range for this keyboard to sell well, would be closer to $115-100. A lot of keyboards in this price range come with other accessories such as a braided cable and/or wrist rest, which this keyboard has neither. That being said, the K60 Pro TKL is still a great looking/feeling keyboard and the RGB is very bright and looks great. Unfortunately, with having it early, I could not customize the RGB in the iCue software as it wasn't recognized in the software yet so I could not see if it could have multiple profiles set either. I would actually love this keyboard as a wireless option which may come in the future hopefully.
Dimensions: 359 x 136 x 36mm or 14.2 x 5.36 x 1.42 inches
Weight: 0.7kg/1.55lbs
Pros:
High Quality Materials
Fast response OPX keyswitches, great for first person shooters (up to 8,000 hz polling rate)
Switches feel great
Lightweight
Cons:
No Braided Cable
No wrist rest
Not the best Value compared to other options on the market
Lacks programmable buttons or features such as color/profile cycling buttons (probably no on board memory for different color profiles)

A great starter keyboard for PC gaming

The Corsair K60 Pro gaming keyboard has all the makings of a solid starter gaming keyboard. For those who love optical-mechanical keyboards, you get that great feel with each button press. This keyboard lacks the ten-key section, so it'll save space if you're looking for extra desk space for multiple monitors. However, if you're looking for a full-featured keyboard, this won't be the one for you. If you're used to the larger keyboards, it is an adjustment; however, if you're building out your gaming setup and the focus is just getting into gaming, this is a great start.
Now let's talk about the look and feel of the keyboard. The keyboard is solid not just from a functionality perspective but from an overall build perspective, meaning it has a little weight to it, not flimsy and extra light like some others. The detachable USB Type-C cable makes it super easy to connect and disconnect. The RGB is bright; it lights up my PC area. I house it under a pull-out section on my desk, so I don't see it from across the room as much at night when I'm not gaming.
While the Corsair K60 Pro gaming keyboard is a quality keyboard, it doesn't have the blow-you-away wow factor or extra features provided by some of the other keyboards on the market. The RGB is bright and colorful, and the keyboard is responsive, but that's about where it stops. Those looking for a more feature-packed keyboard are better looking elsewhere. This will do you just fine for those looking for a great starter gaming keyboard.

Hi,
Thank you for your feedback. Please don't forget, you may assign custom functions, such as custom macros, and bind them to certain keys on your K60 PRO TKL! Custom macros are especially useful for gaming or productivity. An example of a gaming macro would be auto-run or having a spell combination activated with the tap of a single key. If you have any questions on additional examples or utilizing our iCUE software, please feel free to reach out - we'd be happy to assist: help.corsair.com

I have tried a lot of keyboards, always looking for one that will give me a competitive advantage. I didn't start out with that many but over time have become quite a collector of them. The mechanical switches on this RGB Optical key-switches are super fast and the compactness, due to the lack of ten-key makes this my new go to board. Again this keyboard is extremely speedy. It did take me a few days to get fully used to it , as I had to get use to it requiring a very slight touch only. Compared to my other mechanical keyboards this one is amazing. My gaming has come a long way and feel like I can move smoother with little to no effort at all. I am still getting use to typing on this due to the lightness of the keystroke but that will come along soon. Everything you love about Corsair sturdiness and RGB patters are here as well. The OPX keyswitches are amazing and definitely will not be holding you back. Again this keyboard is awesome and I highly recommend it there is a slight learning curve but has been amazing so far.
