    Excellent Mechanical Keyboard

I'm fairly new to the world of PC gaming and mechanical keyboards but I can tell that this is a quality keyboard. I first tried a Razer mecha membrane keyboard that was fine but when I saw this one went on sale I opted to try this keyboard out and I'm glad I did. This keyboard feels much more sturdy and durable and the feel of the mechanical keys is just more pleasing to use. The RGB on these is aesthetically very appealing. The quality of this keyboard helped push me into a largely Corsair build/set-up when I ended up building my PC.

I’m coming from a 20$ amazon gaming keyboard that I’ve had for about 2yrs now. When I got this keyboard I was excited to use it but to my surprise I ended up not liking this keyboard so much. I don’t understand why people like the loud clicking noise it makes when ever u press a key? My old 20$ keyboard had super quiet key caps and was very comfortable to use, unlike this Corsair keyboard. I did like the RGB but I find it useless since it doesn’t give me any performance boost in gaming. I also use this for my school work which sucked since like I said the key caps are so loud and annoying when typing. Pro: RGB Heavy built Long cable Cons: Loud when typing Slides around on my desk

    Horrible keys

Key board is good, i liked the switches and feel, over all its a really good keyboard. However the key caps blow, one broke within a month so now my "A" is replaced with the function key. But thats not the worst part, the worst part is the key caps come off in the middle of me playing. So i have to stop what ever team fight im in, probably die, while i put one of my movement keys back on. The D just came off just now while i was typing. I could buy some keys that fit tighter but i paid over a 100 dollars for this keyboard. I will not be buying any more Corsair mouses or keyboards

    Nice but LOUD

Looks nice, well made, very heavy and solid. However it is VERY LOUD. You wouldn't want to use this if anyone else is nearby and would hear you (or even a few rooms away). I need something that I can use while on conference calls and this is definitely not it! It was even louder than my 10+ year old cheapo keyboard, loud enough that I drove myself crazy. Maybe if you are gaming and have the speakers cranked, this wouldn't bother you so much. I also did not like the textured space bar. I only used this one day and the texture was irritating my thumbs!

Sorry to hear that, Karen, please note pretty much every mechanical keyboard would be quite loud compared to membrane keyboards. If you do you have problems with the performance of the keyboard other than the sound you can always contact us for help: support.corsair.com CorsairGaming

This keyboard is so cool with all the different lighting settings available. Not sure why it's called a gaming keyboard though. It's setup just as any other keyboard. I'm coming from a Merc Stealth and that was a gaming keyboard - separate keys off to the side. Anyway, this really is a nice keyboard. It's mechanical, very heavy and just feels great while typing. I've never been a fan of wrist rests but this one really benefits from the included one. Although mine is a little warped but will hopefully flatten out after time. All in all, this is a very nice keyboard and looks great with the lights.

This is a great keyboard that in my opinion is worth the value. The cherry MX key’s make this keyboard useable almost anywhere. Good for anything especially games as the keyboard is indeed a mechanical and has a high reaction time compaired to other keyboards and has the satisfactory click we all look for in mechanical keyboards. There is also a custom interface for the keyboard to customize key binds and the default RGB on the board. I would definitely recommend this board to a person who doesn’t know much about tech or gaming but wants to get into it or a hardcore gamer whose looking to upgrade.

the good -cherry mx switches feel very smooth and accurate mechanical feel when typing. -spill resistant - always a nice feature, especially when you spend a bit more on a keyboard. -lighting - excellent colors and patterns. match your rig as a solid color or display a rainbow of colors. preset as well as configurable. -design - rather beefy, solid looking design. complements my alienware rig quite nicely the bad -really nothing. the price might be a little bit on the high side at $99 overall really solid gaming keyboard that looks and feels great. 5 stars

This keyboard has everything a gamer would want: responsive cherry keys, adjustable height, palm rest and of course RGB lighting. The keys are not too loud, but still feel very precise. RGB comes with CUE software to custimize the effects - and there are many! This keyboard is the best in its price range and even better than competitors that are priced higher. Very minor con - the included palm rest is average. But hey, at least it comes with one.

I purchased this mechanical keyboard for my office, but I didn’t want to annoy anyone outside my door while typing up a long email or report. I normally type about 100 WPM on a blue cherry Daskeyboard at home which is heaven for me with the spring action and satisfying “click” sound. The K68 in comparison is much quieter and VERY sensitive to input so you don’t need to “bottom out” the keys for a command to be registered. I higly recommend it for those that need a quiet board with a quality feel!

This keyboard is good quality and a great price. Unfortunately, I was unable to test the switches before I purchased it. It was not what I was looking for. I really wanted the loud, clicky switches for games and light office work. I returned the product. The keyboard was good quality and representation, just not for me. I highly recommend you test the different switches before making a purchase. The cherry MX switches are good for gaming, but if you enjoy the loud, clicky switches like I do, this keyboard is not for you.

I was disappointed with this keyboard. It had a membrane of some sort to protect from spills. That membrane made the Cherry MX Brown keys feel mushy. Worse yet, some keypresses would result in duplicate letters being output. I believe this could have been fixed for me by increasing the switch debounce time. But for all the configurable settings of this keyboard, debounce time was not accessible. So I ended up returning it.

The Corsair Mechanical Cherry MX keyboard with RGB lighting was so dully lit, it caused immediate eye strain. I recommend purchasing a Steel Series RGB Keyboard. Has excellent visible backlight combinations and click clack keys, if you're into that. I've been using my Steel Series RGB Keyboard every day for nearly a year now and have not had a single issue with it. Also purchased my Steel Series Keyboard from Best Buy.

The keyboard is wonderfully responsive (actually almost TOO responsive, we had to acclimate to it a bit). It's solid and the lights are awesome. Out of the box and we were into the software having fun with the programming of patterns, etc. It's hard to describe how the keys feel and sound. You can hear them but they have a very pleasant/quiet sound... not clacking at all. If you have arthritis or any sensitivity that makes hard movements difficult, you'd likely love this. Very little effort is required to make a successful "click"

I wanted a very basic, floating keycap, mechanical keyboard. Picked this one out on a whim and the fact that it would sync with the mouse and mousepad i had selected. It's excelling at everything I throw at it, and per-key backlighting is exceptionally slick. Also, its dust and spill resistant, and that comes with a slightly translucent rubber membrane that covers the keyswitch up to the actual connection to the keycap. This has the added benefit of diffusing the lighting and spreading the glow around the keys. Very nice.

I picked up this keyboard from a local best buy, it was the best balance between mechanical action and cost. It does come with LED lighting that is "infinitely adjustable" and the Corsair utility seems a little heavy on system resources for what it actually does. Utility must be installed to change it from the default lighting settings (rainbow cycling). Otherwise a great value, Corsair feels pretty solid for the price. Seems really easy to clean as well, with a slightly open construction.

I'd never used a "gaming" keyboard before and scoffed at them as an un-needed expense. I was wrong. This keyboard brings "gaming" and general use to a new level! I initially took it into work to see if the "noise" of a mechanical keyboard would be an issue. The "cherry" keys are quiet enough for work, yet tactile enough to make a huge difference in typing speed and quality! Then I took it home and it was fantastic for all the games I played especially when paired with the accompanying programable software!

I got this gaming keyboard for my 11 year old son who loves to online game on his computer. He loves how the keyboard lights up. I asked him if the keyboard has helped him win more of the games he wins online and he said yes. I asked him to explain it to me, but I didn't quite understand, I just know that he believes that he has an advantage over other gamers as a result of using this Corsair keyboard. If you or someone in your household is into gaming, consider purchasing this keyboard.

I bought this after I returned the Alienware RGB keyboard due to it not being compatible with Windows 7. I got to type a little on the Alienware keyboard and it felt okay but the Corsair k-68 feels way better. I love the clicky sound it makes and a tactile feel when I am typing. I highly recommend this keyboard to anyone looking to upgrade. The RGB lighting is definitely a sweet, sweet bonus! I downloaded some custom profiles for my keyboard and I am well pleased.

Corsair added unnecessary weight to this keyboard to make it feel "expensive", but don't be fooled. The construction is cheap. Buttons are oddly spaced. Not ergonomic at all. They also pop off very easily. RGB lighting is very dim even if turned all the way up. I had this keyboard for two hours and I already hate it. Will return it tomorrow.

This is a Gaming Keyboard and I'm not into gaming but I decided to buy this keyboard because if it's built for gaming it's built to last. This keyboard is very smooth and responsive I really enjoy typing specially because is not noisy. The RGB backlighting is awesome you can choose any color you like and toggle between different modes. This keyboard is solid and has a nice weight to it to keep it from sliding, definitely recommended.
