Great keyboard! Perfect amount of clicky-clacky, very clean and well built with high quality product. Speed my efficiency in typing, working in programs & playing games.

I’ve been using this K70 Core for a few weeks and it’s been great. The keys feel nice and responsive, the RGB lighting is easy to customize, and it’s comfortable for both gaming and typing. It’s missing a few premium extras you see on higher-end boards, but for the price it’s a solid choice.

Very smooth typing experience and it pairs well with the iCue software by Corsair. However, while it was pretty quiet for a mechanical keyboard, it still makes a decent amount of sound at a lower pitch. The build quality is great, and the knob is a great feature. I highly recommend testing out the keyboards in the store to find one that you like the best! It is still a really good keyboard for the price! Note: While I do recommend it, I did return it for the K65 Plus Wireless because of the ability of hot-swapping, wireless, and it is quieter.

I have had multiple gaming keyboards over the past 15 years and I was super impressed with the Corsair red key K70. The actuation is smooth and quiet which is my preference. The Icue software is simple to navigate and works well with my CPU cooler, headset, mouse, and now keyboard.

(*Disclaimer* I previously did not like pre-built keyboards.) I believed the sound and overall feel of pre-build keyboards left more to be desired. This was true until I tried out/purchased this keyboard. The overall feel is crisp and specifically the model I got had pretty satisfying swtiches for me. Not too clicky/clacky (compared to others like Razer), but you still get that pretty pleasent sound/press you'd want while working/gaming. The volume dial/Num pad was a nice touch as well, showing how far manufacturers have come and with the quality of their builds and listening to customer feedback. I give it a 5/5. The reason I gave this a 5 star is due to the Keyboard doing its job with no problems so far (its been like 6 months). Also the price was only 69$ when I got it. Most definitely a steal in my case.

Got it for my girl who does alot of typing and she loves it over the steel series. The sound of the steel and over sensitive keys wr a problem for her. The feel and sound of this keyboard suits her way better.

Great key feedback and satisfying resistance when typing. Wasn't looking for anything too flashy, just a good writing capability and this was a great price on sale for a wired keyboard. I tried a wireless mechanical keyboard and it just didn't cut it as much as this one did.

The keyboard overall works very well and is exceptional in it’s quality. The keys can be sensitive, making it input multiple times. But that can be easily resolved with changes in the software. Other than that, the keyboard is very responsive and is satisfactory.

This is my first mechanical keyboard that ive had love how it feels. Really like all the different lighting effts i can use. Software is kidda buggy.

Have experience with two keyboards and this one is leagues better than the one I previously had and it sounds pristine and it has swappable key caps.

Keyboard is excellent and the build quality is amazing. I love Corsair products and definitely recommend this keyboard!

This keyboard is overall a good purchase. However there are a few things that I should mention. The k70 is primarily a gamer keyboard as the keys are highly sensitive to touch. While it did great in fps type games where running was important I found that typing out a lengthy email was frustrating due to how little pressure you have to apply to the keys for them to activate. This led to many errors along the way. I will say after about a week I did get used to it more but in the end I gave to my son because of the typing issues I was having. So if you're a little finger heavy this may not be the board for you. I also had a problem with the volume knob crashing the Corsair software on certain games and I would lose functionality of all macros and the volume. RGB keys look great and the software allows you to customize to your liking key colors and patterns. I would certainly recommend the k70 to hangers who play fps type games mostly but this who are casual players like myself who use their computer for other uses I would go a non mechanical route.

Absolutely spectacular keyboard. I love the red linear switches. Such a beautiful sound with a crisp feeling. If I could give it six stars I would. Amazing RGB lighting with tons of different features. Connects via USB.

First time purchasing a Corsair keyboard. Best keyboard I have ever owned. I love the layout & feel of the keys. I will buy the Corsair brand the next time I need a new keyboard.

Gaming is awesome ! Touch of keys feels so natural & it’s super quiet. RGB lighting wonderfully advanced & colorful. Love it!

Nice colors. Good sound. Easy usability and set up. The dial is your all in one sound control. And the lights are highly customizable in the app they give you access to to set it up.

I’ve never really cared about anything but a basic keyboard. I bought this for my work since I was only given a laptop and maaaan I tell you I’ll never have a basic keyboard again. I love this thing. In going to buy one for my home computer as well

This keyboard's mechanical keys feel wonderful and the spacing of the keys is great. The only issue is the volume knob. I personally enjoy it but I occasionally catch something on it.

Excellent keyboard for the price. Build quality and key feel/sound are top notch. Only downside is no USB pass-through and none removable cable. This however is what makes this keyboard a more budget priced model. I think it's an acceptable compromise.
