Build quality is great. Loved typing on it. BUT...... Slipstream technology SUCKS. This keyboard constantly disconnected from my pc, it didnt matter if is was working or gaming. No matter what I did, it would not stay connected. After about 10-15 min of usage, the lights would start blinking to reconnect. I turned off all rgb and even turned off sleep mode, updated the lastest software and reset it multiple times. Nothing worked, unless I was wired, but thats defeats the whole purpose. I never had a problem with my Logitech G915 wirelsss keyboard (it stopped charging all of a sudden.) Thank goodness for Best Buy Total Tech, they gave me all my money back and I went back to Logitech. I will stay away from Corsair as much as I can from here on out. There iCue software is just to glitchy and buggy.

Perhaps this is the best keyboard I have ever used. First of all, Corsair never disappoints me regarding PC peripherals. Design: extremely ergonomic and comfortable besides its high quality and materials and build. Connectivity: it is versatile in that it can be paired to a PC via the USB dongle "SlipStream" which is awesome to have more than one Corsair-branded device to pair to the same USB dongle. Additionally, the fully wireless option via the dongle and Bluetooth makes this keyboard the absolute winner among other keyboards; no lag or delay instead responsiveness is noticeable. Furthermore, connecting it via a USB cable is also included. I paired mine via USB dongle and added the Corsair mouse to the same dongle just to have a wire-free setup as well as less use of USB ports. The clicking sound is my favorite, with Cherry MX keys the typing experience is awesome. Thank you Corsair for the bright and all-around 360 RGB lighting effects. keys are bright and easy to see at night and during gaming sessions I had no problem seeing them at all. Out of the box, the keyboard was also fully charged. I plugged it to charge while I use it to play, and setting it up via Corsair ICUE software was a breeze. I love the way to switch between connectivity methods by pressing the Function key and BT or wireless keys which makes my use on different PC setups like a charm. My gaming experience was full of joy, I have wire-free and zero delay or any connectivity issues, as well as the key function options, are tremendously well thought out by Corsair to use as a full keyboard considering that this keyboard is 60% mini. I have a blessing using it!!

The best way I can go about describing this keyboard as I type on it right now is that unlike several other mini keyboards I have tried like the Razer Huntsman Analog, this keyboard actually feels like a full sized keyboard with the typing experience, yet retains a truly compact and usable footprint in a tight space or for clean desktop space organization. Initial connection and setup was literally plug and play. I took the 2.4ghz wireless dongle and plugged it into a random USB-A port on my PC, switched the power on the keyboard, and boom, I am typing and playing games. The initial rolling rainbow RGB on the keyboard is gorgeous, and I am absolutely in love with the LED strip that runs all the way along the bottom of the keyboard. This is a high-dollar keyboard that looks and plays the part. The RGB is some of the brightest I have seen on a wireless keyboard. I am a big fan of the speed RGB silver switches. They are linear switches that are easy to press and result in a nice tap at the bottom of the stroke, nothing too loud or annoying other. Also absent here is any annoying metallic pinging when tapping. This software rendition of iCUE solves past irritations I have had with iCUE. It is reasonable and straight forward in its user interface and makes customizing this keyboard easy. Altogether, if you are looking for an excellent mini wireless keyboard option and enjoy Corsair products, this is a perfect selection in my opinion. I am very happy to have this keyboard and I am sure you will be too! Thank you for reading and hope this review helps boost your confidence with this purchase!

Ultrafast Mini wireless RGB multidevice keyboard

Corsair K70 RGB PRO Mini wireless mechanical keyboard boast the same form factor of K65 mini and is 60% form factor keyboard intended for travel purchase or minimizing desk space and it’s not targeted for everyday use unless you are used to not using arrow keys and other important keys. It does take less space on your desk and comes with USB receiver (Slipstream wireless) for wireless. It does connect to 3 devices via Bluetooth multidevice option. What’s in the box: Keyboard with the USB receiver attached, braided USB 3.0 cable (Type C to A), Corsair Logo imprinted ABS ESC keycap, Radiant ABS space bar, plastic ring style keycap puller and Safety information /Warranty Guide. Keyboard’s minimalistic design is good and measures 11.6 x 4.3 x 1.58 inches and weighs around 1.42 lbs. which is slightly heavier than the wired K70 and its due to the battery on K70 PRO mini. USB cable is 6 ft. black braided fiber USB Type-C to Type- A. This Keyboard does not have all the keys from the full-size Keyboards. I have posted pictures with my Corsair K65 mini keyboard for comparison on the size. Very clean design. Space bar attached is the PBT keycap and has a radiant ABS that can be easily switched personally, like the printed ABS spacebar for its added aesthetics. This keyboard has height elevation tabs at the back like other keyboards that was lacking in the wired K65 mini keyboard. Battery is advertised to be at 32 hours with RGB effects and over 200 hours with backlighting off. Setup: In order to setup, you will need to download the latest iCUE software. There is no user manual included or any instructions that will walk through the setup process. Once the USB receiver is inserted to laptop or computer it automatically detects without any driver install and seamlessly connects to the keyboard once the power button is turned on. Once connected and the iCUE software is opened, it detects the keyboard and slipstream wireless USB receiver automatically and displays as 2 tabs for various setting adjustments. There were firmware updates available for both keyboard and receiver and to update the firmware you will need to connect the keyboard directly with USB C cable to your laptop. Takes around 2 minutes to update both the keyboard and USB receiver. Once done, you can adjust the setting for your keyboard like key assignments, hardware key assignments, wireless lighting effects, hardware lighting, performance, device settings. This keyboard has a new setting for lighting effects in the iCUE software called quick lighting zone where you can select all, WASD, QWERDF, 1-6, 360-degree lightedge. To save some battery I selected the 360 lightedge and few other buttons as profile. Looks great. Bluetooth Connection: This keyboard can be connected via Bluetooth to 3 different laptops/computers/mobile devices. All you must do is hit function (FN) key and Letter T key when the device is in Bluetooth setup mode. You will see Corsair mini wireless pop up for connecting and once you accepted it will display a 6-digit code to type on the keyboard. Just type the code displayed and press enter. Repeat the process for another device and this time configure by hitting the function (FN) key and Letter Y key to setup the second device and FN with Letter G key to setup 3rd device. Keyboard has lot of shortcuts and for those who are not comfortable with mini, or laptop keyboard will find this keyboard annoying at first as you will need to use shortcuts for most functionality like arrow keys, delete, media control keys. You will need to use the function key quite often if you need to use any of the shortcuts. For ex: if you need increase volume then you need to hold the FN key and press the corresponding shortcut key /?. It does take time to get used to this keyboard for the most part, I still have trouble with the arrow keys placement and the function key. Shortcuts for lighting, profiles, macros, mouse cursor, media controls are allowed. This keyboard has 8MB of onboard storage with dynamic profile system that allows to store up to 50 profiles with custom macros including 20 lighting layers. You can operate this keyboard in two operating modes – Hardware mode & Software mode. When you connect this device to a system that doesn’t have iCUE software then it’s on hardware mode and the onboard stored profiles and lighting effects can be used. Overall, it’s a good value for 60% form factor mini wireless Bluetooth keyboard for 3 devices with RGB and is great for travel. Takes less desk space and looks great and powerful with its ultra-fast slipstream wireless receiver / multi- device Bluetooth option with RGB. Highly recommend for gamers and anyone looking for multidevice connect keyboard during travel for connecting multiple devices.

Big Performance & Features in a Small Form-Factor

----- SUMMARY ----- Verdict: The Corsair K70 Pro Mini Wireless Keyboard is responsive, versatile, highly customizable, and backed by great software. Corsair did an excellent job with the look and build quality as well. This keyboard is top-tier and hard to find flaws in. If you’re looking for a 60% wireless mechanical gaming keyboard, the K70 Pro Mini Wireless should be at the top of your list. Pros: - Excellent build quality - Wireless (via USB adapter or Bluetooth) - Per-key RGB backlighting - 360° RGB LightEdge - Swappable keyswitches - Superb responsiveness (Sub-1ms latency) - Good battery life Cons: - None ----- DETAILS ----- Unboxing & Setup: The Corsair K70 Pro Mini Wireless comes in a nice-looking and colorful box that has a matte finish and textured accents. Like the keyboard itself, it’s compact. When you open the box, the K70 Pro Mini Wireless is revealed in a plastic bag. I was expecting more to protect this premium keyboard, but there wasn’t any damage in transit. Underneath the keyboard, you’ll find a braided USB-C to USB-A cable, an alternative radiant spacebar, a Corsair logo ESC key, keyswitch and keycap pullers, and user documentation. The USB “Slipstream” wireless adapter is stored in a slot on the keyboard. Before first use, Corsair advises fully charging the keyboard. The Enter key acts as the charging indicator, which will be pulsing green when charging and change to solid green when fully charged. I’m using the K70 Pro Mini Wireless with a PC, but it’s also compatible with Mac, Xbox, and PlayStation. Connecting the keyboard via its wireless adapter couldn’t be simpler. Just plug the adapter into an available USB Type-A port, slide the power switch on, and then it will connect automatically. Connecting via Bluetooth is also simple, with the only difference being that you must initiate pairing mode via keyboard shortcuts (explained in Corsair’s quick start guide). Overall, unboxing and setup left a good first impression. Design & Features: The K70 Pro Mini Wireless looks and feels like a top-tier keyboard. With its aluminum frame, thin bezel, braided USB cable, and matte black double-shot PBT keycaps, Corsair nailed the look. At about 11.6 inches wide and 1.58 inches tall, its compact design saves desk space. I appreciate the attention to detail, which is especially apparent in the dedicated slot for the USB dongle and the braided cable. The keyboard is slightly inclined, but there are two adjustable feet on either side that can increase the incline. Since there’s only one level of adjustment, you don’t have much flexibility, but typing and gaming are a comfortable experience nonetheless. Every key’s RGB backlighting can be customized, as well as the light that goes around the entire edge of the keyboard, which Corsair calls the “360° RGB LightEdge”. The LightEdge is one design aspect that sets the K70 Pro Mini Wireless apart from other keyboards. In addition, if you opt for the included radiant spacebar, its shine-through pattern of tiny triangles is a unique and welcome change to regular spacebars. With its hot-swappable keyswitches, you can change the K70 Pro Mini Wireless keyswitches to any combination of MX-compatible 3-pin switches. It’s an easy process with the switch removal tool. Rounding out the design are the rubber feet on the base of the keyboard, which help keep it in place and prevent any wobbling. The K70 Pro Mini Wireless feels solid and sturdy, so I’m impressed with the build quality. Couple that with the nice look, and you have a keyboard that is sure to be a fantastic addition to any setup. Performance: I love gaming with this keyboard. It works beautifully. I tested Apex Legends, Age of Empires, The Witcher 3, and Elden Ring. Across the board, every action felt snappy, and I couldn’t spot any latency. I certainly can’t blame any of my poor gaming performances on the K70 Pro Mini Wireless because its responsiveness is superb. Extensive use and lengthy gaming sessions are no problem for this reliable and durable keyboard. My gaming performance may waver, but the K70 Pro Mini’s does not. Software: Corsair’s iCUE software provides a high degree of customization. Profiles, key remaps, macro recording, and RGB lighting down to a per-key basis can be managed in iCUE. It is also necessary to update the keyboard's firmware. iCUE provides one of the best experiences I’ve had with peripheral software, and I’d recommend using it, but you don’t have to. The keyboard functions on its own, which I was happy about because I can use the keyboard with my work laptop where I don’t have iCUE (due to it not being approved yet for company use). Since the keyboard has onboard memory, you can save lighting profiles that can follow wherever you go without needing the iCUE software. There are numerous settings to customize in iCUE, but Corsair did a great job keeping the interface clean and intuitive. Battery Life: On average, you can expect up to 30+ hours of battery life when using RGB effects or 200+ hours with backlighting off, which is comparable to most wireless RGB keyboards of this size. In testing, I noticed that your chosen lighting effects and brightness impact battery life, but not too drastically. I keep mine pretty basic with static or pulsing light on the medium or high brightness and consistently get 30+ hours of battery life. With my usage, that lasts me about a week, which I’m more than happy about. When idle, it will put itself to sleep, which is a nice feature to conserve battery life. ----- WHAT’S IN THE BOX ----- 1 x Mechanical Gaming Keyboard 1 x Wireless “Slipstream” USB Adapter 1 x USB-C to USB-A Braided Cable 1 x Corsair Logo ESC Key 1 x Radiant Spacebar Keycap 1 x Keycap Puller 1 x Keyswitch Puller 1 x User Documentation

About the Corsair K70 Pro Mini Wireless Keyboard The K70 Pro Mini Wireless Keyboard is Corsair’s latest innovation for wireless keyboards. It brings a fully equipped Corsair quality gaming keyboard, and squeezes it into a miniature keyboard size. It has all of the gaming keyboard shortcuts as well as a fully controlled RGB backlighting through Corsair’s iCue interface software. Features Here are the key features for the keyboard: • Wired Mode – through USB-A to USB-C cord (6 foot length) • Wireless Mode – through USB transmitter Slipstream Wireless Bluetooth • Cherry MX Mechanical Keyswitches • Keyswitches are swappable • Axon Hyper Processing Technology • Full N-Key Rollover with 100% anti-ghosting • Aluminum frame • Up to 200 hours of battery life / 32 hours with RGB effects • RGB Lighting through Corsair’s iCue interface • 360 degree LightEdge • 8 MB of onboard storage • Dimensions 11.6” x 4.3” x 1.58” • Weight 1.42 lbs What It Did Well These are the things that I thought the keyboard got right. • Build quality seems pretty good. Sturdy aluminum frame. • Mechanical keys feel great. Cherry MX keyswitches are my preference. • Fast connection. Slipstream connection worked really well. No lag. • Full RGB control. Can do everything RGB-wise that my Corsair M65 does. • Added EdgeLight feature looks slick. • Keys are labelled on user side for function capabilities. • Ties in seamlessly with my other products using iCue interface. • Integrated USB dongle storage at the back of the keyboard. What It Did Not Do Well This is a short list – nothing. I have two things that bothered me, but they really aren’t issues with the keyboard. • It’s a mini keyboard, and I have large hands. It’s going to take a little time to get used to this keyboard. That’s just the nature of the product and a preference for me. • I would have liked to have seen a list of the FN keys. I have to guess right now, so it’s a little trial and error. This could have easily been remedied with a key legend included in the packaging. It would have helped to adapt quicker. A Few Other Notes • This requires a new version of the iCue software. Make sure that you are up to date with iCue. • The Slipstream USB dongle needed a firmware update. Check that in iCue for a smooth transition to use the mini keyboard. I’m giving the Corsair K70 Pro Mini Wireless Keyboard 5 stars. There’s really nothing that I can pick apart. Corsair made a solid keyboard here, and I think that as long as you are comfortable using the mini size you will enjoy it.

If you take your gaming on the road or just want a mini wireless keyboard that you can use for gaming this Corsair K70 Pro mini is definitely one you will love. This keyboard has the feel and response of the full size K70 Pro without losing to much functionality. The only complaint I have about this keyboard is I wish they would have put some of the dual-purpose symbols on the top of the keycaps vs the front side so they would be easier to recognize in low light conditions. Its only an issue until you memorize the secondary function keys you use the most. Corsair packs a lot into this mechanical RGB mini 60% form factor keyboard. In my photos you can see the difference between the full size K 70 Pro and this K 70 Pro Mini. Every key has multiple functions and all of them have identification marking on the front side indicating its secondary purpose. The keyboard is on an aluminum frame and feels rock solid. The key layout and height of the rows are not compromised by the smaller form factor. The use of cherry MX mechanical switches makes this a true gaming keyboard. The keys are very responsive and provide the mechanical feel and sound you expect from a cherry MX keyboard. Corsair lets you adjust the polling time and switch debounce in the iCUE app if you like. The keyboard has a USB-C connector and a six foot long cable is provided for hard wiring or for wireless you can use Corsair’s slipstream wireless or Bluetooth connectivity. Using Bluetooth you can pair up to three different devices and there are three different keys to use for pairing and selection. I found it very easy to pair devices and to switch between them. The keyboard attempts to pair with the last connected device when powered up. Even though this is a mini keyboard it does allow you to control the media functions, the volume, the keyboard lighting and lighting modes as secondary functions on existing keys. The keycaps are double shot and they can be swapped out to personalize the layout. They include a keycap puller and a Corsair keycap and spacebar but it does not include FPS and MOBA textured keycap sets, all the keys have the same texture. You can set up macros and profiles using the keyboard or the iCUE app and then save them to the keyboard’s 8 gb of memory. The iCUE app gives you more control over the lighting, profiles, macros and key assignments however it can be frustrating at times because it is not very intuitive. The good news is once you get your profiles and macros set and saved you can select them with just the keyboard. This keyboard has 360 degree lighting which means not only do the keys light but also the perimeter around the keyboard itself lights up. The iCUE app gives you total control of the lighting and modes and there are enough options to make every gamer happy with the RGB options. There is an on/off switch and the battery should last around 32 hours if you use the RGB lighting. They also included a storage spot for the wireless receiver so you don’t lose it when you aren’t using it.

FANTASTIC FEELING 60% RGB KEYBOARD – ALL THE KEYS

MODEL REVIEWED CORSAIR K70 PRO MINI WIRELESS RGB 60% MECHANICAL GAMING KEYBOARD, BACKLIT RGB LED, CHERRY MX SPEED KEYSWITCHES, BLACK HEADLINE: FANTASTIC FEELING 60% RGB KEYBOARD – ALL THE KEYS YOU NEED OVERVIEW The CORSAIR K70 PRO MINI WIRELESS has all the features you would expect from CORSAIR like RGB goodness, as well as great clicky tactile feeling (CHERRY MX SPEED Key switches) and a really solid feeling build. More importantly this wonder is wireless (or wired) and supports the included Slipstream Wireless USB receiver. I also like the included key puller that easily allows you to swap out the black spacebar for the updated geometric design spacebar. If you are new to 60% keyboards, don’t worry these are not tiny little keys, they are full size (QWERTY) keys in the usual position. But instead, all the extraneous keys that have been added over the past 40 years are gone (or more precisely reassigned to dual function keys). This means that at first glance the cursor keys, function keys, numeric keypad, etc have been removed. Instead, for example you would press FN+I to trigger up arrow in normal everyday use. The CORSAIR K70 PRO MINI WIRELESS RGB allows you to toss a real gaming keyboard (in a mini-package) in your backpack for easy travel and storage, or just to reduce the clutter on your desk when gaming. In my case, I have a hard time fitting my mouse and full size gaming keyboard on the desk centered in front of the curved monitor. Now with the CORSAIR K70 PRO MINI WIRELESS RGB I easily have room for both. Since I already game with a CORSAIR - K95 RGB PLATINUM XT the learning curve and change in feeling was virtually non-existent, the keys feel exactly the same between my K70 and K95 XT. I can fully recommend the CORSAIR K70 PRO MINI WIRELESS KEYBOARD. SETUP Just download the latest ICUE software, then follow instructions for firmware updates (if needed) and you are off the races. Because I already had the K95, the setup process copied my existing profile and mapped it to the K70, which was very cool and saved lots of time. I look forward to playing with the advanced keymapping which lets you map keys to just about anything you can imagine. (mouse clicks, macros, other keys, other languages, etc). Comparing this feature side by side with the K95 the K70 seems to be missing APP mapping and PROFILE mapping (neither of which I use). SUMMARY The CORSAIR K70 PRO MINI WIRELESS RGB is every bit as powerful as its bigger brothers from CORSAIR, and every bit as capable and well built. If you are ready to experience the real-estate savings offered by a 60% keyboard, I recommend you take a close look at the CORSAIR K70 PRO MINI WIRELESS RGB. Wireless gives you extra freedom, but I would still take the cable with you in case you run out of battery.

An initial charge with the included USB Type C to USB-A cable is advised. A USB-C port is not needed as long as you have this or a similar adapter cable. After allowing 2 hours for a full a full charge I was able to connect the keyboard to my PC using Bluetooth without any issue. If your device does not have a Bluetooth, the USB cable can be used to direct connect the keyboard, or the Slipstream Wireless USB Receiver stored on the back of the keyboard can be used. Simply insert it into any USB 2.0 Type-A port or above port on your device and the keyboard will instantly pair and work with it in hardware mode. When the keyboard is connected to a device that does not have iCue, a PlayStation, Xbox, or computer without the software or not using the Slipstream USB Receiver, the keyboard will work in hardware mode. User profiles and settings saved to the keyboard itself which has 8MB of storage space. In order to use the iCue software with the keyboard, you must use the Slipstream Wireless USB receiver which must be paired to the keyboard. Insert the Slipstream Wireless USB Receiver in one USB port, then connect the keyboard using the included USB-C to USB-A cable. Select “Pair” in the iCue software. You can now customize and program the K70 keyboard. When the iCue software is running on a connected PC or Mac, the keyboard operates in software mode and is controlled by iCue. Lighting effects, colors, keyboard macros can be programmed with iCue. This is also where you can update the keyboard firmware. When running iCue software, macros are recorded to the current iCue profile. The iCue software also has a Dashboard that provides information on your PC hardware such as temperature, fan speed, DRAM Frequency, CAS# Latency, and more on supported PC’s. These worked well on my Dell XPS PC. The iCue software integrates with Phillips Hue Bridge. If you use Hue lights on the back of your monitor or for your room, you could sync them with the iCue software to control the Hue bulbs for an enhanced experience. Unfortunately I do not have these setup to test this. Though a mini keyboard, the keys are normal in size and spacing. The smaller size makes this easier to keep in a cabinet with a game console. The separate function keys, and other keys typically found to the right of the Enter key are duplicated on the other keys. E.g. the numbers on the top row double as function keys when the Fn key is pressed with them. This product uses a rechargeable battery. Pressing Fn + Enter will light the keyboard in different colors to check the battery charge level, Solid Green is full, blinking green/amber/red as it gets lower to pulsing red just before it runs out of power and a charge needed. The keyboard goes into standby mode after 15 minutes with no use to save power. The timeout can be set in the iCue software. Press any key and it jumps to life. There is also power switch on the back of the keyboard to save the most power when not in use. There are instructions on how to remove battery when the keyboard is at the end of its life before you recycle it. There is no mention of a replacement battery being available. I found the keys feels more firm than an OEM keyboard which is preferred. It does not have the positive click feel or loud clack of some gaming keyboards. An optional space bar and Esc key are included along with tools to remove/swap the existing keys and the switches underneath if a replacement is ever needed. Replacing them is easy and straight forward. Each key can be reprogrammed so you can support any language keyboard or do your own unique layout if you wish. The key feel is good and it’s not as loud as a gaming keyboard. I love the size and imagine this will soon find its way into my TV console for use the Xbox and PlayStation there once I settle on my customization for each profile and save them to the keyboard. Overall a solid choice.
