Customers consistently note the high build quality, excellent key feel, and vibrant RGB lighting of the K70 RGB TKL Champion Series keyboard. Top shelf build quality. Small footprint a delight for myself and grandkids. Speed, features, accuracy and mechanical feel keys excellent. Been using my CORSAIR K95 for 2 years now very similar but larger foot print. Well worth the investment for PC gamers. Just buy it amazing keyboard many features and controls.

The size of this keyboard is awesome. A nice TKL keyboard that I can work on and game on is a major plus for me. I like the trend of USB-C Braided cables for durability.
The key caps are slightly textured but the included QWERDF and WASD keys are a nice touch for more of a textured feel on the important gaming keys. Including a key cap remover is awesome.
With the keys being raised, the back light can be seen around the keys along with through the clear key letters. The inclusion of a braded Type A to Type C cable is a very nice choice, showing Corsair is ready for the future.
The inclusion of Cherry MX Red switches on the other hand, is a down fall for me. While the MX red's do offer a lower noise ceiling, the MX Blue switches would have made for a better feel and experience. Along with this, the need to change to Corsair's iCue 4 software was also a down fall, as I now need two programs to run my AiO, Fans, and now my keyboard.
All in all, this is a nice keyboard I just wish there were some slight changes that would improve this keyboard for the better.

Build Quality & Features
-------------
This keyboard has a phenomenal build quality. The keyboard is made of combination of plastic and brushed aluminum with no flex. Underside of the keyboard has rubberized anti slip pads and it also includes pull out legs.
The keyboard also has brightness adjustment, media controls and windows lock with a volume scroll control.
It has a tournament switch which will disable the macros and will set it to static color.
The switches are cherry mx speed and they are linear switches. However, they are a little noisy for regular use and would have preferred a clicky.
It also has a 8MB onboard storage to carry your customizations with your keyboard.
iCUE software is excellent in customizing the RGB color, speed. It also lets you customize the tournament mode.
The polling rate can go up to 8k but i did not notice any difference between the default 1k vs 8k.
Note that this is not a full sized keyboard and it is missing the number keys and i kind of like the size and do not miss the num keys at all.
Playing Call of duty was a no lag - super responsive experience and i think although this is a pricy one, for the build quality and features, it is worth it.

This is the second Corsair keyboard I have tested out. The first was the K95 and now it smaller only out of convenience little brother the K70 TKL Champion Series.
Out of the box the K70 TKL is a thing of beauty! The keys are evenly lined with a gray and slate finish. The board is heavy enough that even while slamming around to make my character move faster you know, the board does not shift. But the weight is not so heavy that my backpack feels any heavier than it normally does with all my other gear. The keys are an absolute pleasure to stroke. The Cherry MX gives you that hardcore feel. But the magic is actually the onboard storage processor called AXON. I am not one of those lighting fingers player that moves like Barry Allen, but I do get "Ghosted" keystrokes from time to time when I am in the zone and my fingers are moving as quick as the mind. For me it happens at one of two times, when my hands and wrist are in optimal playing position above the keyboard and not resting and my downstroke is too quick, and I do not press long enough or deep enough for the board to register. Or when I am trying to strafe, and I am holding two keys down and trying to gently lift in rhythmic unison to make my dude do the motion without the mouse. However, with Corsair's board having the AXON technology. I have not experienced any ghosting. I have also found that I do not have to give myself a hand or finger cramp because even the slightest touch will register. These factors also give me an edge and allow that millisecond deciding factor to go my way when I am playing well enough for that to matter. Next, the board does have a detachable USB to USBC which I thought I was not going to like until I put it in my bag and was like “OK that is why.” Then there is the iCUE software download from Corsair (free) that allows on board modifications and Marcos modifications. The onboard key assignments just means that you can change or remap a certain key (i.e., spacebar to slide). I have a couple of keys unbound too and moved to other keys. When I play a certain FPS because I was always throwing utilities due to how I rest my hands. Marcos is a bit trickier and takes some computer intelligence. I have made my \ key open a streaming site. This is done by input paths to happen once a key is pressed. In this case mine starts with \ opens chromes, which then opens the website I want and poof I am there with one keystroke. There are much broader things you can use Marcos for as well and I will let you just figure those out to suit your gaming needs. The iCUE lighting features are almost limitless. iCUE lets you map colors to regions of the board or even specific keys. I plan on making a smiley face that I am going to display next time I play a comp. Then finally the differentiator, the Tournament Mode Switch. I am not an esports pro, am, or even novice; what I am is a guy that likes the Fun of it and will go, watch, or play in esports tourneys. I am not really good enough to be a threat, but I am good enough to be a nuisance :) That said, I have never seen a Tournament switch. This switch when flipped to engaged noted by an orange light will lockout any of those fun little features that I just shared iCUE will let you do on the K70 to make the K70 completely stock and completely fair. I am a fan and when I host or participate in small events, I will make it a rule or ask that it be a rule, that if you play on a board that can be modded that you must have the switch or play on cyber waste keyboard (a keyboard shipped with new computers, basically trash).
This is the keyboard you will see all the good ones using and me, period the end!!!!

Great keyboard especially if you don’t want a numberpad as it will give you much more space for your mouse. It is still crammed with features and also has a dedicated volume wheel, dedicated media keys like forward, back, pause, and play, and has 8mb of on board storage to save profiles that you can switch between on the fly. If you are into competitive gaming then this is the keyboard for you.
The RGB also looks very nice and you get alternate key caps in the box for the WASD that make them textured and slanted a certain way that makes it much easier to locate with your fingers, most of these keyboards at Best Buy are equipped with speed silver cherry switches. These are linear switches so you will not feel a tactile bump when the key registers, but that allows you to press them much more quickly. Speed silvers are basically reds but are even lighter with the actuation force needed to press the keys.
For the price you are getting a lot of keyboard and a well built one at that.

TL;DR
Fantastic product, build quality, switches, and multimedia buttons!
But where the heck is my wrist rest?
CONS
I like to start with the cons so you are made aware and get a good idea of what you'll be facing that you might not enjoy like me. The first thing I want to point out are the stabilizers. They are, well, inconsistent. The one on the space bar is fantastic! The best I've used and I've been using Razer keyboards for a while. The right shift and enter keys thought feel spongy? Like it's hard but not quite hard to push if that makes sense? The left side feels fine which is usual but meh I got used to it pretty quickly and maybe it will wear itself down but it doesn't bother me as much as it might bother you so keep that in mind. Corsair keyboards usually have the ability to control the lighting with just the hardware and they have it set up to where you use the function key and the number keys to control it (read the manual for more). But, when you install iCUE the hardware switching just doesn't work. I couldn't tell you why but when you shut off iCUE (or don't install it like I did for the first few days) then you're golden. Why Corsair? You have a hardware control function on the mouse but not the keyboard from the iCUE? That makes no sense really. Also, Corsair you have promotional images showing that this keyboard uses a wrist rest and there are even points where the wrist rest is supposed to connect at the bottom of the keyboard and yet there still isn't one? What's the point? Either include it or don't offer it all. I know you're going to make a new version that either includes this or you are going to sell it separately which is a bit frustrating when I spent all this money on a TKL keyboard of all things. This tournament switch doesn't work, either I broke it or it just doesn't do anything even with iCUE installed and trying hardware mode, it just doesn't do anything. Luckily for me I don't plan on competing with anyone or in any tournaments anytime soon so it really means nothing to me.
PROS
Despite all of that, I like this keyboard a lot really. I knew I loved linear switches but these feel so much better than I hoped with the speed silvers. And the fact that corsair uses these on pretty much all of their modern keyboards just makes me want more of them in my life to collect but one is good enough for my wallet. I also did want to save space on my desk which is why I opted for a smaller form factor but I still wanted my function keys (mainly for quick saves for all of my RPG games, F5 for the win). Most TKL or smaller form factor keyboards from other manufacturers they ditch the media keys but I love to have them as an option so thank you Corsair for just making the keyboard just a bit taller to accommodate that for me. You have no idea how much I actually use them and if you don't I recommend you do they are so nice instead of figuring out if you have your YouTube video focused to use the space bar to pause and play. Plus, no one takes my volume wheel away from me!

I'm upgrading/downsizing from my K95. I am pretty disappointed it does not come with a wrist rest, especially since there's two connection points for a wrist rest. I'm assuming they will make a separate one that is compatible? I'm kind of confused why the media keys are on the top left and not on the right side where the volume rocker is. Aside from those though, I really like the keyboard. Was looking at TKLs, but wanted to stick with Corsair since I have all their peripherals and use ICUE. I felt like the K65 LUX RGB was a little too dated now. This keyboard couldn't have released at a more perfect time.
I do miss the extra G keys on the K95 for the extra convenience of launching some frequently used apps. I'll manage though. I think the smaller form factor and better ergonomics outweighs that.
On a side note, my K70 comes with the cherry speeds. My K95 had cherry browns. I use these for work at home and I type a lot. I find the cherry speeds to be vastly superior to the browns. I'm a light typer and the speeds just feel a lot nicer and less cumbersome on my fingers. I bought the K95 with brown switches without being able to test a variety of switches due to the pandemic and stores being closed at the time. The browns were fine so I kept it, but these cherry speeds just feel much better imo.

Well, accidents happen and I spilled my energy drink on my K70 keyboard and fried it. Decided to pick this one up since I didn't need 10 key. I like the compact size, brushed aluminum housing, extra textured keys, keycap puller, iCue software compatible with RGB colors. Only downside is that it didn't have the USB throughput for my mouse like my old keyboard did. Regardless this is an amazing keyboard.

It's Corsair, what can I say. Excellent keyboard. I use it extensively for gaming only. I was looking for a Ten Keyless design to free up some space on my desk and still have the audio functions I had on my full size HP Omen Keyboard. This fit the bill. Didn't really want to go with a 60% KB and lose that functionality. I later rebuilt my PC using Corsair parts as well, and the iCue software now controls all my RGB, including this keyboard. This keyboard is significantly quieter than my HP, which had clicky mechanical switches. Great product all around. Has a built in tournament switch which changes RGB to a static mode and disables accidental macros in a competitive situation if that's your thing. Comes with a detachable braided USB-C to A cable and extra key caps for FPS/MOBA play. Keycap puller included also. Great product all around and the price is competitive (actually on sale right now I believe). Would recommend!!!

Wanted something with faster linear switches as my other board has cherry MX browns, which get to feel a little heavy for longer gaming sessions or shooting games. I really like the silver switches for gaming, and they're surprisingly not as bad to type on as I would have thought. I like the sound of the key presses, but you will hear a very noticeable pinging unless you're wearing headphones. I think the stabilizers on this board are pretty good as well. Board has nice features like the tournament mode, heavy scroll wheel, PBT keycaps, and the inclusion of textured keys. ICUE is some of the better software compared to other major gaming companies. Not many complaints other than the pinging. The body is also only an aluminum top plate with a plastic body, so it feels a little cheap. Overall, I like the board as my primary gaming board, and Corsair packed a lot features into it.

It was my first time buying a 10 key-less. I finally did it since i have my work station and gaming setup separate. It did not disappoint! The the high polling rate may or not may not be overkill but since I only get keyboards from Corsair I decided to pay the extra $$ and see what if any difference there was. The cherry mx speed switches are the only ones I can use while gaming and I never did any testing of the keyboard in its highest polling rate setting but no doubt the quality of its build and other features while having the numb pad chopped off puts it at the top of food chain for those who play to win, like myself.

This Corsair K70 ten-keyless keyboard is a fine, beautiful keyboard. The lack of ten number keys allows the keyboard to be several inches shorter in length and about an inch less in width. The click of the keys is not too loud, and the key pressure is just right. The addition of a finger rolling device for the volume is also a nice feature, and the brightness & color choices for the keys are good. My only criticism is with a lack of simple, clear set of instructions for programming the colors. This has been a problem with these Corsair lighted keyboards for years, and many resort to hours of guessing about how to program these Corsair, lighted gaming keyboards. This is a common criticism presented by many users on the Internet.

IN my personal opinion about this board. I love it. I love how you're able to have the multimedia keys. As a comp. CSGO and fps player, I hate the speed silvers. I hate fast switches, however this was somewhat of an exception since it wasn't too bad. 8K polling on a keyboard is kinda doin too much, but that doesn't change it from being a good board. The speed silvers on the other hand, I just don't like them but I love everything else of the board. Ever since they updated their switches to 100 mil presses, each of the switches I tried out in that lineup have been so scratchy and weird. I am waiting for the cherry mx red variant to come out because that's my preferred switch.

The keyboard itself is aluminum which provides zero bending to the board with general use and the keys themselves are plastic but feel great and they don’t require that much push to register on the computer. Definitely a great item for someone who wants a starter mechanical keyboard. The iCUE software is also top notch and is great in terms of customization. I did, however, have to look up a tutorial on how to save profiles onto the hardware so that I could use profiles when I don’t have the iCUE app running. I would definitely recommend this keyboard.

Recently, I've purchased two different keyboards, for gaming. This one, Corsair K70 TKL, and one from Hyper X, Alloy Origins Core, with their magnificent Aqua Switches. To be honest, their both wonderful, and I can use them interchangeably. But, if I was to give one a nod, over another, it's going to be this one, with the optional keycaps. They allow me to rapidly place my left hand in the right place, and get right into the action.
As far as the polling rate, I can't tell the difference between the two.
Anyway, I can't see how anybody wouldn't love this keyboard!

I bought the Corsair K70 to fit into a smaller keyboard tray of a new desk that I purchased. It was one of the few gaming keyboards I could find that would fit the width and allow room for a mouse. I loved the feel of my K65 and this is basically the same, but smaller. I do really appreciate the removable power cord on this keyboard. It allowed me to drill a hole in the bottom of my desk and easily thread the cord through, which would have been a pain otherwise, I’m very happy with this keyboard in my current setup.

I use this for gaming, but also for my laptop since I hate the Mac keyboard and frequently work at home or in the office. I love the mechanical clack, but most have keys that fall off if in the wrong position. For this the keys stay on unless you give them a good pull.
Sometimes the software fails to light up the board, but the cable detaches right at the back of the unit and unplugging it for a moment fixes the issue whenever it happens. Not happy about this, but hopefully an update will fix the problem.
