This is a good keyboard that I feel could have spent a little more time in testing. The colors don't show on the keys evenly. This is a disappointment for such an expensive keyboard. The software is really nice but I have noticed that it can forget the color settings and then you need to change the colors and change them back to get it come back. I also had to ajust the key sensitivety. The key settings are too sensitive out of the box but for some that may be a bonus. The keys are solid and responsive but takes some time to get used to if you are used to non-Corsair key spacing. If you have no preference or are an avid Corsair fan then you will really like this keyboard. I am not a fan of the different coloring for the G keys but it is nice it includes additional key caps but interestingly it does not include key caps that match the rest of the keyboard.

i love this keyboard. it works great, no delay or anything, rgb works great. the software for this keyboard to change the rgb lighting is really fine tuned and amazing and you can do endless things with it. the best part of this keyboard for me is the macro keys that are easily compatible with elgato stream deck software because for less than the price of the new stream deck you can get this great keyboard with macro keys already there for you to use for simple streaming tasks. i should have researched switch colors a little more, i know the basics but don't have much hands on experience with the different color switches. the switches on this keyboard are EXTREMELY touchy so it's very easy to accidentally hit keys you didn't mean to. it takes some getting used to however definitely not a deal breaker and i do still love the switches. just keep in mind to try and get some hands on research done for the different switch colors so you can pick the best for your needs. these switches (i believe brown on this keyboard) would be great for quick action gameplay where the ability to quickly press the keys a lot is important. but if you're using it for more basic uses or games that don't require that type of motion you might consider different switches.

It is good quality of build wise. A little complicated to custom set up. But terrible for office productivity. So realize it is a gaming keyboard that needs two USB ports to work right. You have to have some kind of RGB going to see the keys too.

This keyboard is by far the nicest gaming keyboard I have ever owned. The keys feel so tactile and responsive and truly have a premium quality feel. Infact the entire keyboard has a premium quality feel. The RGB lighting is extremely well done and it also comes with several extra keys and ridged AWSD keys to replace the original AWSD keys for better feel and finger grip during gaming. As well as a removable wrist wrest and a key puller. All in all 10 out of 10 would buy again!

The overall Keyboard is great! The wrist rest is super comfortable, the key caps have a great feel and the switched are very responsive. If you are looking for a keyboard to type on all day, I would recommend getting something with cherry blues or browns. For gaming this Keyboard is fantastic. The macro keys are a nice touch and the RGB is bright even though the iCUE software is a bit wonky. I would absolutely recommend this for any gamer looking for a solid Keyboard that won't shift during heavy gaming.

Mechanical, quality keyboards are really worth the money. I didn't realize how important this interface to the computer was until I got a quality keyboard. I really enjoy this keyboard. The extra buttons, macro's etc are great, such as, one key that types my email address. Handy. I'm not a big RGB guy,. but I like it on white, it's well it and great for working at night. Thee wrist rest is a nice added bonus.

I would actually put this keyboard somewhere around a 4.5 stars. I type over 100 wpm, I game for hours on end sometimes (shhh, don't judge!). This keyboard has held up to my abuse and is taking it like a champ. It IS clicky, and I love that. I want to feel and hear my keystrokes, so this is perfect for me. Of all the weird complaints to have, I had a hard time adjusting to the G keys to the left side. Something about that extra row made me want to put my hands in the wrong place on the keyboard, and it drove me crazy for the first couple of weeks. I no longer notice it, and now I absolutely love the keyboard. Solid and reliable!

I got this keyboard as a replacement for a fairly new K95 Platinum board. There is very little difference between the two boards, but the one that made me switch over was the cushioned leatherette wrist rest. I used the standard Platinum board exclusively for gaming on my Xbox One X. It only has a rubber padded wrist rest, and after an hour or two of use, it does start to put some strain on my wrist. The Platinum XT's cushioned wrist rest was a great upgrade to this. No more soreness after using for a few hours. Worth the higher price tag imo. You can use a different brand wrist rest with the std Pt board if you wish since they are removable, but I wanted the oem integration of the wrist rest into the board. Plus buying the standard Pt board then buying an aftermarket padded wrist rest will be just about the same price as the XT. And since Corsair hasn't made the XT wrist rest available (which I'm sure it'll mate up with a standard Pt board perfectly) I just decided to buy the newer XT model. It also has double shot molded keys. The main difference a user can tell is that the keys on the XT have a slight texture to them and also appear to be more matte in finish, while the standard keys are smooth and more shiny. There's also streaming keys added to the XT if that's of interest to you. I don't stream so this wasn't a big deal to me.

Great quality and worth the investment if you're looking for a quality gaming keyboard. Works great if you already have other Corsair products so you can customize colors or patterns with the iCue software.

This keyboard has everything I need and more. The mechanical keys are super fast and have the typical clicking you would expect. The double shot keycaps allow the RGB to show through nicely and the extra keycaps for game playing make this keyboard perfect for gaming. The roller volume control is something that you dont realize how nice it is until you have one. Because the keyboard has a pass through USB connector on it you need to connect two USB-A connectors to your pc so you really dont save any ports. The iCue software has a lot of options but its not the most intuitive app. After spending some time with it I was able to get the RGB patterns I liked. The palm rest is very soft and comfortable compared to the hard rubberized one that is included on other Corsair keyboards. Between the six macro keys and the five profiles I was able to customize the keyboard to meet all my requirements.

Excellent keyboard. Very functionally efficient, and aesthetically pleasing. All the lighting are customizable, and since it's mechanical, the keys can also be switched out. The wrist rest is also very comfortable and perfectly positioned. A little pricier than other gaming keyboards, but definitely worth it.

Great Quality and nice rgb lighting. The sound of the clicks is very nice and the key dont get stuck. Bemn using for a long time with no issues.

This keyboard is solid. Like really solid. The brushed aluminum face is gorgeous and it has per key RGB lighting. It has some really cool effects and the 16 or so zone led bar on the top is really cool. It's cool how the led bar also projects down so it lights up your desk on the back side of the keyboard. It's incredibly useful at night. It's got a bunch of different keys you could install and the key puller is nice for cleaning. The keyboard wrist rest also makes using it on a couch comfortable, though the short cable is a hindrance in that situation without a USB cable extender; but you'll need two if you want the passthrough port. I feel like this keyboard could have been wireless if Corsair had tried and I hope they will produce one in the future. Overall, this is a fantastic keyboard that is easier to clean, absolutely gorgeous and a fun talking point for company. It has a wide variety of uses and would suite anyone perfectly. I'd highly recommend it.

This keyboard is awesome! You need to use the ICUE program to control the lights. Once you get familiar with the program it's easy.

This is a great keyboard. The switches are fantastic. The RGB is amazing paired up with the icue software. The build quality leaves nothing to be wanted. And the wrist rest is amazing. Can't recommend this enough.

I returned a Razer Black Widow and got his. Keys are a little clickly, but not crazy loud like some. Brushed metal surface on the keyboard is nice, good wrist rest, A tad expensive, but a great keyboard.
