These look great and have a ton of control options. They have magnets and sticky tape. The magnets are strong enough that I used those and left the stucky tape intact. If you have an aluminum or plastic case, you'll have to use the tape. The software has a lot of customization, but can be a bit clunky to navigate until you get used to it. You can set each individual LED on each strip to a different color,so the possibilities are endless. You can also set the brightness and patterns of flashing/strobing.

Work well but...

These are great and work really well. I just have a few complaints. The software they tell you to use is old and hard to use. I switched to the icue software which is newer and it was much easier, and synchronized with my keyboard and mouse now. It is not intuative to set them up originally. Basically, you would think when you plug them end to end it is just one strand, but that will only light the first one, it is actually 4 strands on a single circut. The only other complaint I have is that when you start up, they have no memory in the controller, meaning until the software control strats, they are just solid on rainbow.
They are nice, easy to install, and once you figure out the software, easy to use.

Excellent Lighting Kit

I was doing a new computer build and purchased the Corsair Lighting Node Pro and combined it with the Corsair HD120 3 Fan Lighting Kit.
It is very simple to install. It requires a SATA power connector for power and an open USB 2.0 header from the motherboard to be able to control all lighting effects with the Corsair Link Software. The small contoller hub is easily mounted out of sight using the supplied two-way tape. It includes 4 lighting node strips and extension cables if needed. The lighting strips easily attach to you PC with 2 options. Each lighting node has a magnetic strip attach to the back. That was the method I used. But for someone that doesn't have a magnetic case you can also remove the tape backing and stick them down where needed.
Can combine this kit with more lighting node pro strips or with the HD120 lighting kit like I did. They work perfectly together. All you need to do is hook the supplied controller cable from the Lighting Node Pro hub to the HD120 lighting hub, that's it.
After installation you will need to install the latest Corsair Link software from their website. You then a can use the Link software to control all lighting effects on each node and fan individually. There seems to be an endless array of colors and lighting effects to please anyone.
I would highly recommend this kit for its ease of use, quality and endless lighting effect options.

Good lighting for your PC

So I finally built a new PC, and I wanted RGB lighting for the case and this was the only lighting kit my Best Buy had in stock. On the plus side, the lighting controller maintains whatever setting you select (something my Cooler Master CPU fan does not do), however the software takes some fussing about to get your lights to display what you really want. Hookup was very easy, and the magnets are helpful while you place the LED strips and determine where you want to position them, but you will need to use the tape to keep them exactly where you place them in your case. If you wake your PC from Sleep/Hibernate your RGB strips will light up in whatever configuration you have selected, however if you restart the PC from the off condition, the LED will display a random color and flash pattern until the operating system loads, certainly not a big deal. The Lighting Node PRO does require an available USB 2.0 header on your motherboard to work, and this may be a drawback for some systems. My system has 2 USB 2.0 ports on the front panel and another 4 ports on the rear I/O panel, along with as many 3.0 ports, so using the last 2.0 header for my system wasn't an issue, but on older systems your USB ports may be at a premium, so you'll need to take that into account before purchasing this package. My only reason for 4-stars is the software, not terribly user friendly, but if you click around you'll eventually figure out how to get the display you want.

I had some cheap RGB strips in my pc that used an ir blaster, had a lot of options already for the price but they use this weird nasty glue style adhesive. These guys have magnets on the back and can slap right in the case, 4 of em to fit your build. I only had one really long strip, so i like that I could place these where I needed. Looks great and was easy to instal. Just make sure you test as you can, they need to place properly in a row, or they wont work.. was a bit of swapping around in the series to get em to work, but it wasnt anything hard, as they came right out with the magnets.. If you plan to use the sticky tape that is on the back, just make sure you test fit them and ensure they work in the order you have them before placing them with the adhesive strips

My other half said to go get the RGB Corsair Mouse Pad for father's day. As I was walking out I spotted the RGB Light Strips. Took about an hour to install with wire management but they work great. You have to download the Corsair Link Software from the website and the software works great. A little pricey but it works great and looks good with the lighting options. Very Happy.

I absolutely love this product. I bought one as a birthday present for my fiance and another for myself. The color is so vibrant and it was incredibly easy to install. On top of that it works with the iCUE software which has been my favorite RGB software so far.
If you already use Corsair case fans or pump and want some extra lights and color then I cannot recommend these enough.
The metal backings made lining them up super easy. The sticky part is REALLY sticky but even when I needed to adjust one I already stuck I was able to get it off and re-stick without an issue.

The corsair Icue software is the best lighting software available. This allowed me to use one channel on the controller for the included strips and the second channel to control the LEDs on my non-Corsair fans (adapter cable necessary). So this essentially killed two birds with one stone. This is very easy to install using the USB on the motherboard. The problem that I was having is that the LED lighting controller that came with my high end motherboard was not easy to use. This product solved that problem.

Quality RGB Lighting Strips

Right now, people are comparing Corsair to NXZT and with good reason. I bought these strips because I trust the Corsair brand name more and their attention to quality. While it comes at a higher price than its competitors, I do not regret getting these strips. They are both magnetic and have adhesive strips. The color can be controlled but unlike the NXZT, you can't control every single RGB light. They come in presets of different colors.
Other than that, these are great and you can't go wrong with them.

This is the second time purchasing this product. The first time was about 3 years ago for my PC. This time it's for my wife. Pretty straightforward. Set everything up. Download iCue if not already, and you're good to go. The best feature (if you want to call it a feature) is that it's also magnetic so you don't have to use the double-sided tape if you don't want to, just slap it on there, and that's it.

I am a long-time user of Logitech products and recently purchased a Corsair MM800 RGB mouse surface. I was so impressed with the product that I decided to go with the NODE Pro lighting kit when doing accent lighting in my case. The accompanying software (Corsair LINK) must be downloaded but has a vast number of configuration options. I configured mine to run a solid blue but to change to purple and then red based on temperature of various components. Easily the most satisfying setup I could have asked for.

The Indy rgb’s are great and Corsair cue software works ok and it looks great. Only con I have is that it uses a internal usb header and my motherboard only has 2. Even the most expensive motherboards only have 3 usb headers. My current motherboard. Z370 MSI Gaming m5 has a dedicated header for rgb but it is a 4 pin, the Corsair nodes are 3 pins that must be used with the controller, I saw the newer z390 motherboards actually have a dedicated Corsair 3 pin header for rgb.

Hey, it's Christmas year-round in my computer tower. Now after getting the Corsair Gaming mouse and mouse pad both RGB lighting I was hooked and decided to go with the light kit. Installing it was super easy and the computer instantly saw the kit which connects directly into a spare SATA cable. I set mine for the rainbow function but one could easily customize the settings for a multitude of different functions.

Nice addressable led strips. Dummy proof installation, is able to stick to steel cases via magnets.
Software is a bit buggy.
A kind of surprise option with them is that they have a hardware lighting mode, you can have the lights do a different effect before the software kicks in.
Example: I have the strips in a chasing animation durring booting, then when windows fully boots, a different effect starts.
