Really nice lighting kit to light up your system,
Installation can be a bit tedious since you need to add and organize a lot of cable in a small space in your case- but it's doable.
The strips are bright and easy to set up in the software.

Bought these not really being sure they were worth it. But they have blown me away. They have sharp color to them and unless you can directly see the strip you cannot tell how many individual less there are. Has fluid color change and can be brighter than you even need them to be. The dual channel color options also expand possibilities a lot. Magnets on strips allow for easy test of where you want to place them and are strong enough to permanently mount so you have to possibility of changing later on, which I did after a couple weeks. By far worth the money! Only downside is it takes up an entire internal USB port. Would be nice if it somehow had a way to still have an actual USB port plugged in with it. Not sure if that’s possible though

Amazing brightness. The strip has 10 LEDs each and iCue is an amazing program. The node can also be used to control different DRGB devices if you can find an adapter online.

I never thought RGB would be such a controversial thing, but there is a lot of anti-RGB backlash among the pc enthusiast community, which I don't understand at all. Sure it's possible to overdo it with too much RG-Bling, but it's also possible to incorporate it in creative and tasteful ways. It's not "RGB," its just color and light. The ability to put any color anywhere you want, animate it, etc., opens up endless possibilities for for unique and interesting mods. If you take pride in the aesthetics of your rig, I just can't see how RGB could ever be a bad thing. Moving on...
I installed these on the back of my 2 monitors in a single line for some makeshift bias lighting and it looks great. The extensions made it easy to run a hidden wire over to the monitors.
There's not much to distinguish between RGB strips, so my review will mostly cover the software. A common complaint about RGB is that it's buggy, too hard to get working right, etc. That's why I have stuck with iCUE and gradually expanded my collection. iCUE is by far the most reliable, polished, and feature-rich RGB ecosystem. Aside from a few minor hiccups, my experience has been effortless. I normally dont like proprietary, closed ecosystems, but in this case it makes sense for stability and functionality.
Sometimes the best way to say what you like about something is to say everything you dont like about the alternatives. On that note, ASUS Aura is incredibly sparse, poorly designed, and buggy. It has become more stable over time, but hasn't added any features or updated the interface at all.
Where iCUE let's you create custom profiles, with your own "avatars" and background images for each one, Aura has no profiles and always shows you the same ugly black & red interface. An interface which is unforgivably tedious unless you're using the same color everywhere. You can't create any custom effects, or even copy a color from one item to another efficiently. The best way is to enter the numerical "Hue" value into the box for each one, or try to get a close match with the mouse on the color wheel for each one. Simply being able to save a few colors, and a couple of profiles to switch between would make a world of difference, but it would still pale in comparison to iCUE. Even much earlier versions of iCUE were better than AURA is now, and Corsair has completely overhauled the interface a few times.
With Aura, you're basically stuck with the handful of preset effects included. Which is a complete waste of addressable RGB's capability. The only benefit of Aura is more open compatibility, but that's where problems are introduced.
iCUE is more expensive, but Corsair has earned it by making the iCUE system as capable and comprehensive as it can be. It's more complicated to set up with things like the iCUE commander and Lighting Node Pro, but that's what enables its broad functionality. The iCUE software puts the full capability of addressable RGB at your fingertips, with intuitive design and useful features. It gives you "granular" control of each individual LED, you can layer as many effects as you want, and even animate them. The possibilities are literally endless. If you don't want to spend the time, it has a much better set of included effects that will satisfy most people, and you can still layer those as well.
Now, here are a couple of tips to get the most out of your RGB (Aura included):
1) Google "Zotty's iCUE guide" for an in-depth breakdown of how to use iCUE components, which ones are compatible, etc. iCUE can be confusing at first. Before I saw that guide, I thought I needed an iCUE Commander in order to use this kit with the Node and 4 strips. I didnt, and also learned that the Node would enable iCUE control for the HD140 fans I already had. It also has diagrams of some mind blowing setups, with extra PSU's and several branches of Commanders, Nodes, fans, and strips.
2) If you have some Aura strips (or motherboard like me), check out Jacknet RGB Sync. ASUS and Corsair both released SDK's, and someone made a program to make them play together. You can set it up with either iCUE or Aura as the master, and then create groups of slave LEDs (which can be layered) and tell them which master LED to mirror. Playing with it for a few mintues, I was able to create some very responsive music lighting by using the Void playback visualizer on my K70 MK.2 SE as the master, and then assigning different motherboard lights to mirror different keys. Jacknet isn't perfect, it's made by a single person, but it's surprisingly robust.

Let’s face it all the RGB items out there are not easy to control. There are multiple versions of then out there that are virtually impossible to control effects.
That is lot the case with this system. The LEDs are bright and well packaged. Coming with both an adhesive back and magnets for mounting is a huge plus. The Node Pro makes it really easy to control effects and add onto the look later with other Corsair LED items. Rainbow mode at medium speed is mesmerizing and I find myself watching it just because.
I would highly recommend using these for you RGB looks unless of course you prefer complicated installation and control.

Got this item on sale and for the price I love it. Breaths life into my old computer case. Fun lighting effects!
Only con is not being able to control all led strips from one action in the software, need to copy and paste the settings, but just a slight hassle.

Really great and BRIGHT RGB light strips if they all come working. I bought 2 packs of these due to the sale price being cheaper than buying it w/o the lighting node. Out of the 8 strips one arrived dead but I had enough to do my case without it. Perfect if you have other Corsair lighting in your case The magnetic/stick back makes it super easy to set up. There are definitely cheaper options out there but they don’t have the Corsair name backing them, and having everything set to icue makes managing lighting super easy.
