Simple to install RGB

Owned for 7 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The RBG strips are daisy-chained and the module (box) connects via USB via motherboard (pins) but if you want you can do it externally using a mini-USB. The RGB strip itself are vivid and contain magnetic backing. Only weird thing I feel about this is Corsair's software (great customization) but whenever your PC flashes or gets frozen it also refreezes the RPG along with the software.

Great RGB for your computer

Not the easiest to plug in and use if you do not know a bit about your system and your motherboard. Corsairs own instructions are decent but not indepth. By looking into youtube you might learn how to install these. A bit of a headache routing the wires and setting them up but they make your PC look amazing!

easy setup kit

Great for adding some lighting

Software is easy to use and the plugs make it easy to chain them together. The unit is required to make the HD120 fans lighting work which is the primary reason I bought this, but after putting the LED strips in I'm even more happy I bought it. My only complaint is the length of the connection wires to daisy chain the LED strips together.
