I did remove the factory heat sync to install on my MSI B550i, but the MSI fan keeps it very cool. It doesn't show up in ICUE though so use crystal disk info for temps.

No issue with PS5

Now I have all my PS4 games (downloads, not CD) and PS5 games on my console. A bit pricy option, but works. This SSD was the most inexpensive one among all the SSD that meet for PS5 speed requirement at the time of purchase, but still 1/2 expensive as my PS5 console.

No longer throttled by my HD speed. And the heat sink on it gives me the peace of mind during intensive gameplay. Super easy to install on your board and looks good. A bit pricey, but I was going all out for this build anyway.

Follows the price point for the speed and capacity of the drive relatively. If you are buying this as a PS5 add on, it doesn’t fit the size requirement as the heat sink is a bit too tall.

Just a heads up though for anyone buying this for PS5... You won't be able to install the SSD Slot cover with this in, but I don't think this will be an issue as I believe that cover is there to protect the slot from dust while not in use. Finally can have all the games I want to play downloaded at the same time!!!
