Avoid this PSU due to rattling coil whine

The power supply works for what it is, but go with a RM1000x if you want to avoid coil whine. This was pretty low quality and had quite a bit of rattling. The 1000x doesn't have any whine so far.

Died After 2 Weeks, Now Stuck with RMA Hassle

I bought this power supply thinking Corsair was a reliable brand, but it completely died just two days after Best Buy’s return window closed. Because of that, I’m now stuck going through Corsair’s warranty process, which has been frustrating so far. The support chat bot reset halfway through and never created a proper ticket. I still haven’t been able to get a clear answer or replacement started. To make matters worse, Corsair seems to only offer refurbished replacements, even though mine was basically brand new. Now I’m forced to buy another PSU just to keep my system running while I wait, and I wouldn’t trust the same brand again. Disappointed with both the product’s reliability and the limited return window. I expected more for the price and brand name.

Cheap and it feels like it

Long history of using Superflower/FSP/Corsair PSUs. Seemed OK, 0db mode was nice. Would have kept and enjoyed it further had it not been for a GPU that decided to fail rather than it being a power issue (based on initial troubleshooting) Weirdly excessive cabling lengths along with no sleeving on the strands creates a giant knot without heavy use of cable ties or a velcro wheel. Would not recommend for those with a window.

Bought for reasons I might upgrade in the future. There cheaper ones out there but Gold is the way to go
