    If you have low end hardware maybe the coil whine wont be so bad but i have an rx 6700xt and ryzen 7 5800x and this psu coil whines bad when playing games.

    The power supply supplies power, and will hopefully do so reliably for years to come. That said, it is noisy. I thought I was crazy until I saw these reviews. Mine makes a grinding noise when I open a new browser tab or anything that requires any more power and ramps up with a loud grinding and whining. This would have been better if Corsair didn't give me the runaround on support with a ticket that lingered for a week before I gave up. I just resubmitted a ticket and will update on if they come through.

    Once i installed it under load the psu makes a high pitch squeal. Almost like a dog whistle.

    Only 2 weeks to return. Started making noises on day 16. I am currently in talks with Corsair support but this whole situation wouldve been much easier Best Buys return policy was longer.
