Excellent PSU option. Love the fully modular option, no extra cables to stash somewhere and keeps the case and installation looking clean. Would definitely buy another one when the time comes for it.

Excellent price for Corsair and a modular sub Kilowatt power supply. Just upgraded the kids’ PC and the old PC only had 450W. Been using Corsair for years and have always been reliable.

An efficient power supply made by a reputable brand that does it's job. Fully modular capability is really nice for a clean build.
However, if you are sensitive to coil whine noise, I would recommend something else. I had a total of two units (first one exchanged) with unbearable coil whine at load, at least for me. After research I guess the RMe models are prone to it due to how they are made and run for efficiency. I decided to opt for the CX750M instead, which has zero whine at all, thankfully.
It was odd, because once my PC started to hit high loads in Cinebench, for example, the coil whine would pretty much go away. At idle, however, it was a very harsh high pitched whining noise that would change tone and pitch based on my mouse movement.
I wouldn't recommend this over others at in this price range for this reason alone. However, if coil whine doesn't bother you, it's a very good & efficient PSU outside of that.

Hello Nate,
And thanks for the feedback. Your unit shouldn't have any noticeable whine so please effectuate an exchange whenever possible.

Most people get an overkill 1000W. This 850 is perfect up to a 3090, 40 series draw less power so no need to go above 850. Needed the small upgrade. Modular sells itself. Love it

This Power supply was incredibly convenient to use, as its ports were clearly labeled, and I could set aside most of the wires because of it being fully modular. it made for great cable management and less clutter, also providing great power consumption. I've never had any issues with disconnections or malfuctioning. The only problems I experienced were that with the case I used, the GPU cable had trouble fitting through the access hole and bending to plug into the GPU, and the rubber on the motherboard power connector cable ripped after a couple days.

This is a great power supply for low to mid end build, and it allows for some slight upgrade abilities and its modular so it also helps with cable management. Only one down side that i faced was that it can run hot even with proper airflow.
