So far, it has performed flawlessly. Even with my Intel 10900k and 64gb of Vengeance RGB ram, it barely taxes this power supply at all. The internal fan rarely ever needs to spin up as the heatsink system is so well designed and efficient. So much so that I briefly thought the internal fan was defective because it spun so rarely! The connections are all very solid and the cables appear to be well made thus far. They supply PLENTY of cables for an even more aggressive setup than mine. And this thing is aggressive I promise you... Only negative so far: it is expensive but reliable so far

Excellent psu, nice and quite keeps my i9 and 3090 happy. Has plenty of head room for my Sata ports, case fans, and everyone’s favorite rgb. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice psu at 1000 watts.

I love my new build. This PSU has enough power to supply overclocking CPU and GPU. However, I noticed there was noisy coil whine when PSU works in heavy load. I searched online and it seems I was the person with bad luck got a noisy PSU. Corsair said coil whine will not affect longevity and performance of PSU. So I wouldn't send this back. I don't want hard time again on cable management lol.

Installation was simple and straightforward. It came with everything I needed to install right away. I was able to get up and running in minutes. No issues and had more than enough power for all components. Runs silently most of the time with only a little increase in noise when fan runs. Perfect for my PC setup.

Great PSU! I have several RMx series and they've all be fantastic performers. Modular is nice, fans are quiet, and efficiency is great at the wall. The cables come in a nice bag and there's even a little corsair sticker lol. Highly recommend.

Corsair makes good PSUs. When I initially put together my build I was on a budget and the RAM crisis was in full effect. I had to skimp on my PSU and get one from their CX line. It was a 650w 80+Bronze, by no means a bad PSU, but the fan was loud and always running. This RMX 1000w 80+Gold runs in silent mode more often than not, which also prevents it from sucking up any dust, a nice advantage. I'm confident it will be enough power to run my next build when I give my current one to my parents and put the CX back in. I'll definitely have to replace the cables that came with the PSU. The supplied ones are hard to maneuver and look ok, but I've got the experience now for custom cables. Will probably also order from Corsair.

This is a pretty quiet power supply. Quality is great. Power is right on par. The only issue I had was it smells weird. Cable Quality is also really good. I wonder what i can tell you what it smells like. It has a new sneaker smell to it. It's definitely a very odd particular smell. I got to install this on my rig. It powers a OC'd i9-10900k, sapphire nitro + rx6900xt @ 340w, 7 system fans,2 m.2's, a corsair h150i AIO, allot of rgbs on the fans and 2 rgb strips . Im probably at 900w and under gaming its really reasonable. At $205 you can't beat it. It's like I bought a $400 1000w superflower psu. Great stuff Corsair just try to eliminate that odd smell lol.

After having one of these on my Windows power workstation for a while, I got this one for my Linux power workstation, which has slightly greater power requirements because of its larger HDs and more powerful graphics card. Since it doesn't turn on its fan until power draw exceeds 400 Watts, it is totally quiet nearly all the time. And, it has reserves for power peaks when starting up use-all-the-cores-100% software, full-screen HD video, and other demanding tasks, even more than one of these at the same time.

The fully modular PSU lets you decide which cables to connect on the unit to what devices that you need to be powered. It makes for less clutter during wire management. The 1000W powers all of my current needs with more than enough overhead for future current needs. I am now future ready for any power needs that may arise so long as it does not exceed 850W of my total power needs.

I know il be able to handle anything the future throws at me, with enough power to efficiently handle multiple rtx cards, high end component draws and your fan, lighting and water cooling for the next decade is a sure shot. Oh and did I say the cables are excellent with added capacitors on the cable for a clean flow of power.

Bought this PSU for a new build. The cryptomining and new gen GPUs have put a strain on the >850watt PSU availability. Yet again Best Buy's system for purchasing high demand items worked beautifully and I was able to get this without having to resort to crazy pricing at other online retailers/outlets. The RM1000x is a fully modular PSU with an excellent reputation for durability and performance. Some PSUs are reporting total system shutdown because of transient power spikes from modern GPUs irrespective on stated PSU wattage and efficiency rating. Their sensitive overload protection circuitry can't handle the variation and they shutdown. This unit has no issues with these transitions and is very stable. The labeling of the the cable connections at the back of the unit could be laid out better and more prominently. It would also be nice if they included a couple single PCIe power cables instead of several pigtailed double connector cables.

Let's just say I used to have my breaker shut off in the living room on one have of the room before getting this sucker. This could handle anything the fan barely runs and when it does it's hard to hear. Corsair is just a fantastic product across the board on all their products!

I home build most of my computers, and did an exensive amount of research on power supplys to understand where I could get the best performance/value ratio, while ensuring I had room to grow in my build. I have an Intel I7-8700k CPU running on an ASUS Maximus X Code motherboard, with an NVidia RTX 2070 Super GPU, along with a slew of drives and LEDs throughout. Decent power consumption, but nothing that would make this PSU blink twice. I have the benefit of an available 1000 watts, with the assurance of 80 plus gold performance. The complete modularity is huge, and from all I could study this particular model made top 5 of most all lists I encountered. It is my second Corsair PSU (along with my Corsair RAM, keyboard and AIO CPU cooling unit, I love what Corsair builds and I've never had issues with anything that has borne their name or logo (knock on wood).

This modular power supply is exactly what was needed for my latest build. It has plenty of additional power to handle a possible future addition of a second graphics card. The look and feel is excellent and the fan is very quiet.

I purchased the Corsair RM 1000x to replace a 10 year old failing PSU. This beast is driving three GPUs (2 RX 580 and 1 GTX 1080) on an i7 Skylake Z170 board with plenty of other peripherals connected. Even still there are several unused rails. It doesn't break a sweat and runs near silently. Rock solid voltages. This unit is hefty without being over-sized. It has only been a month but so far I am very pleased with it.
