This is a rock-solid PSU. This is my second RM1000x, with the first powering a 5950x/3090 setup and this one running a 7950x3D/4090 rig. ZERO COIL WHINE. I originally had an EVGA 1300P+ platinum in the 7950x3D, but the coils SCREAM in that PSU. Stay away. The Corsairs are super quiet with no coil whine in either unit, not even under stress testing. Highly recommend!

Make sure that you use the cables included and switch each one out to avoid any issues! This is an absolute powerhouse of a power supply and can handle anything you throw at it in just about any machine. Great quality on everything down to the wires themselves.

When it says the fan is 0RPM they mean it. It is SUPER quite and works great. Haven't had any problems since I switched out my old 750 for this one. And for the power supply difference I am getting with it, the size difference isn't that much different. It still fit fine into my case which is on the smaller side. 10/10 would buy again.

I build and fix a LOT of computers, and I've seen power supplies fail in just about every way imaginable. The things responsible for converting wall power into precisely controlled DC outputs take a lot more wear and tear than people generally imagine. Capacitors wear down with age leading to voltage drops, cooling systems seize up and start grinding, I've even seen a couple short out and catch fire. But I can count the number of Corsair power supplies that have broken down on one hand - which is why they've been a regular fixture in my personal builds for over a decade now. Yes, it is a somewhat pricey unit. But Corsair's quality control and engineering alone is worth the premium given that a PSU failure can easily end up frying every other part in a system. And the RM1000X has everything you need for a high wattage modular unit. The cooling fan is quiet even at high RPMs, voltages are solid and high enough that the system should be able to remain stable even as the parts begin to age, and the modular cabling system means you don't have to deal with excess bulk for your system which could lead to added strain or damage that could lead to shorts. I picked this up for my home VR rig which is running an overclocked 12th gen i7, a 3080, and a whole Christmas tree's worth of lights and I fully expect that I'll still be running it in ten years' time unless standards change or PSU power draws get high enough that they require a whole new PSU.

Definitely a worth while power supply for higher end builds. It offers plenty of wiggle room for upgrades in the future as well as a good form factor and threaded cable design for sturdier cable management. A reliable and steady pick for PC builders.

The CORSAIR RMx Series RM1000x has been outstanding. Has great efficiency and is fully modular keeping my setup clean. With 1000 watts, the zero RPM fan keeps it quiet. The build quality is excellent, featuring comprehensive protections. Overall, it's a top choice.

This is a amazing power supply. love having a fully modular PSU, reason being is because the cords you don't need, you don't have to keep them plugged in. This runs my setup really good i have a Ryzen 7 5800x 32GB 3200MhZ Ram 1TB 990 Pro, 500GB 980 Pro and a 2TB SSD with a 3060 Graphics card. I haven't had a single issue yet.

I love the way this power supply comes with great looking cables. But the best part is cleaan consistent power. I check with a sine wave meter and the power never varies and has no fluctuations in amperage. Great power supplies by Corsair is nothing new. I have been trusting them for over 20 years and never had one fail.

Works great amd runs quite. I pick this up after the no name braded power supply popped in my prebuilt. I chose this as it met my power supply needs and had great reviews for the price by a reputable company. I would definitely buy it again if i ever needed a power supply.

wellll was sorta easy. Every thing fit my case perfect it is long and heavy like a brick, but i squoze it in okay barely. Quality power supply, Cables are quality also and marked. A fith grade genius could do it ;) Upgraded 2070 card to nvidia 3080ti. Upgraded to this power supply. I got one major issue. Cables with this power supply do not fit nvidia 3080 ti. Arrrggggghhh!!! you will have to order these seperate, CORSAIR - 12-Pin GPU Power Cable, Sleeved - Black. cables that come with nvidia 3080 ti do not fit this power supply. I say, whiskey, tango, foxtrot ! Other than that i love it.

Fully modular, simple and to the point. As always corsair delivers on reliability. I’ve never had an issue with a corsair psu. This is my 2nd one of these 1000w units i’ve purchased now. Can’t go wrong with one of these. Plenty of headroom for OC and room to spare. Will always recommend these to friends and colleagues

Once I discovered modular power sources it became the only kind that I will buy. Couple that with the high quality of Corsair products; you can't miss with this PSU. So easy to set up and never wavers in power production.
