Unfortunately after exchanging once, I was not in a hurry to replace my PSU. I sat on it for a month. Low and behold the second 1K watt psu is also not working, and now I have to eat the cost.

I was originally looking for a replacement to my 750 watt PSU that died on me and decided to go for a 1000 watt to give me some wiggle room to add more to my current PC. Ended up selecting this one on a whim since I didn’t really have a preference and man did I pick well. It’s been a while now and there are no issues to date. Much quieter than the last one I had, and has lower average temps (most likely because of the decreased stress load on the unit, but thought it was worth mentioning anyway). Would definitely recommend to someone who is looking for a reliable 1000 watt PSU.

So far So Good, I bought it at a good price point and Best buy had the best price out of the major retailers. For a regular gaming computer with one video card, I do not think this is a cost effective purchase since that would be a bit overkill. However, If you have a need for plenty of power for the computer, I have no problem recommending this at this time. I prefer this line of PSUs from corsair, as they have been reliable and the autoswitching with input voltage is a nice to have. the Fans on it turn on when the PSU itself becomes hot and needs ventilation then will stay on or turn off once the PSU cools down, so in colder enviroments it wont spin at all, being more quiet, and thats fine. It comes with the standard fare of cabling that the others in this line come with. this model comes with one more 6pin input and 8pin input than the smaller corsairs, and that was appreciated. The PSU is a bit physically longer than smaller models in this line, but that was no problem, and fit in my Cooler master full tower HAF case fine. its not huge, but it is something to keep in mind,

Bought this a year ago, I have had no issues with installment and or use. Has worked like a charm and is not the first one I have bought. Very happy also was delivered very fast

These power supplies have been my favorite for years. The quality is extremely hard to beat and this is completely silent in the case. There is literally no noise from the power supply ever, and it powers a high end graphics card without breaking a sweat.

Works good. Very quiet. More than enough power. And well priced. You won't need another one after this. Only down side is smaller cases can't fit their hard drive bay.

I didn't get to use this long, I suspected my power supply was not working correctly, I was wrong. It was fine. I can provide a review for the quality of the product. For one it was surprisingly quiet. It doesn't spin the fan when it's idle. Don't let that deter you because that means they put in heavier duty components or else it could not work that way. Psu itself looked great and it has this premium quality to it. Last but not least you have the reliability of Corsair they make good power supplies. Now for the cons. For a novice, the cables are not too friendly. The labels don't specify what component they plug into they just refer to their generic terms like instead of vga for gpu is pcie instead. It's a small curve but not impossible to overcome it's still fairly simple to figure out. Second although the cables were thick and solid, they looked cheap without a mesh sleeve over them and the plastic had this dull look to it. It's Like they went with a generic cable. For a high powered device I expect a little more. Other than that, there is nothing bad to say about it. It's still a good product.

Worked as expected, downside is it is way larger than standard psu. Length wise it’s massive. However it’s reliable 1000 w power, all cables you need and double, it’s not live 5.0 ready but not a big deal

Power supply runs quiet and is very reliable. Fits into 4000D case pretty easily, the modular cables are super nice and easy to power and connect all your components. Don’t cheap out on your PSU, unless you want your components to go with it.

When it comes to power supplies - they are generally looked over because they don't really do anything cool other than boot up your system. Performance- Gold, fully modular, and Ten Year warranty? It doesn't get much better than that. As far as the fan attached to it, it might as well not even have it because I never hear it and the PSU does exactly what it is supposed to; disappear and never know it is there other than to turn your PC on and off. Value- For a gold 1k watt modular PSU, Corsair comes in right at or under the market median as these are ALWAYS on sale here at BestBuy for deals better than you can get elsewhere and at Corsairs own website. The cables that come with it are great and slim. When I think of a PSU and computer brand I can trust I go straight to corsair because they haven't failed me yet as they have amazing customer service and even better products so you rarely have to utilize their +A customer service. Conclusion - From an easy-to-track out naming scheme to be a reliable switch, corsair has really killed it with this PSU. It is hard to get amped when it comes to PSU's as they do a thankless job that rarely gets any attention except for when it ISNT working. I couldn't recommend this PSU more and I have had 4 or 5 Corsair PSUs now with zero issues.

I had a Corsair Power supply previously. It recently died after 5 years of hard work (gaming). I knew I wanted another corsair but this time with more juice since I'll be upgrading my GPU soon. I was able to swop out the dead one with ease. So far this has exceed my expectations.

Has not let me down yet. It is very quiet, very well constructed and works flawlessly. I have plenty of room for upgrading my system as needed in the future.

TERRIFIC POWER SUPPLY. If you have a PC that needs a decent power supply, plan on upgrading in the future, and can afford a little extra, this is the way to go. I have never had my PC run smoother than with this guy. Plenty of cables come with, and has extras just in case. Very impressed.

You will never need to upgrade your PSU ever again with this kind of power. Having all the cables necessary and being modular was a great help in order to organize excess cable length in a clean way.

An excellent power supply for the price and being fully modular makes it easy to get a clean install. Provides plenty of power for most needs while staying quiet.
