Not going to lie the first one I got I went home and installed it and it powered up the first time i turned it off and did my cable management and then clicked it on and it wouldn't turn on and i got a weird burnt smell! To be honest I went against my better judgement and got a replacement and its working fine so far super quiet and I do feel my pc is running nice and smooth

Works awesome and the fan almost never spins up. If it does, I cannot hear it. Powering a Gigabyte x570s mobo - EVGA 3070Ti - Ryzen 5900X - 64GB of Teamforce RAM. Takes it like a champ with plenty to spare.

The CORSAIR RM850x is a high-quality power supply that delivers reliable and efficient performance for any PC build. It has an 80 PLUS Gold certification, which means it has a 90% efficiency rating at typical loads. It also has a fully modular design, which allows you to use only the cables you need and avoid cluttering your case with unnecessary wires. The power supply has a 135mm fan with a zero RPM mode, which means it only spins when needed and operates quietly. The power supply also has a 10-year warranty, which shows the confidence and durability of the product. The CORSAIR RM850x is a great choice for anyone who wants a stable, powerful, and silent power supply for their PC. It is compatible with most motherboards and cases, and it has a sleek black color that matches any build. I am very happy with this power supply and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a high-end power supply. It is worth the price!

Works great! Supplies great power for my rig, and I can't seem to stop buying Corsair hardware! I used a multimeter to troubleshoot some issues on my pc and I found that all of the voltages matched up as they should!

The Corsair RMx series have been my "go to" when making a new build for a while. Corsair sets the standard for quality and reliability in PSUs. You can always count on them for the performance you need and build quality you desire. I used this in a build for a friend that is paired to an RTX-3070 Ti and Ryzen 5800x. This PSU is a bit overspecced for that build, but it's always nice to leave a bit of expansion room for the future.

It's a great power supply. Comes with everything you need. Redundant case screws (come with most cases) and ridiculous numbers of cables for sata/cpu/pci devices. I've certainly never heard the fan kick on louder than any of the other fans in my system. Even with my 3080 and unlocked Alder Lake i7 I don't think I come close to the max 850 watts. If your system is less powerful, or equal consider the 750 or lesser.

Someone on Reddit recommended this as a replacement for a very basic (cheap) PSU that burned out in my son's unit, and I must say that while it's a monster to install (and I even calculated prior to installation), it purrs like a kitten whilst running like an absolute beast. No regrets. Would buy again.

Great psu for the price and quality but it only comes with two GPU cables when my 4080S needed 3, online says you can daisy chain with this combo and Ive had no issues so far but it would have been nice to have the extra cable

Amazing PS for any serious rig with a big graphic card, orks great! The fan is practically silent, but Why can't the cables included be 2 inches longer? How much more could it possibly cost to include cables that fit a standard ATX gaming case? Instead, everything barely makes it, and any benefits from the nice cables with high-quality mesh shrouds are lost because it just barely fits.

I only buy Corsair PSU's for my gaming rigs, because I have never had an issue for over 15 years. The same goes for this model, which is my second, actually. The other was purchased from another site. I purchased this one for my new 6800 XT. The previous PSU was only 600W being used with a 2060 super. Works great without breaking a sweat.

This power supply works great. It's fully modular so i got rid of many unnecessary cables in my pc. I just wish there was instructions that should which end of the cables go to PSU and which end to the other components.
