    quality power supply, but corsair is cheaping out on cables. why would a power supply need to include 3 separate 8 pin cpu power cables while only giving 2 8+8 pin pcie power? doesnt make sense, especially since even the highest end boards use up to 2 8-pin cpu.

    The unit itself works as expected. But the included cables are almost unusable. Borderline too short. Very stiff and almost un-routable. I didn't return it because i was eventually able to fight the cables into place and I wanted to complete the build, You could pay $60 for an upgraded cable set... but this would make it one of the most expensive in this category (850W.) I know it's petty but it didn't come with a storage bag for spare bits like others I've bought. Corsair is cutting corners and it shows. The power supply itself is working for now. But, who knows for how long? Better options out there. Will not be buying Corsair in the future.

    I had to send two of them back. Failed testing. Got a replacement and it failed too.

    I must have got a hold of a bad batch. 3 of these were DOA out of the box - so test thoroughly. Also previous similar model failed after 8 months.
