Great Power Supply
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far, so good. I have yet to see the fan run on this unit. Maybe it hasn't gotten warm enough for it to kick on. My case is well ventilated.

Posted .Hi Mike,
Thank you so much for the feedback, the fan is designed to only spin it's needed. Otherwise, it won't spin to allow for full silent operation. If you have any further questions about the headset, please feel free to contact our support team: support.corsair.com

not enough pcie cable
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There is only 2 pcie cables so if your gpu needs 3 you gonna have to buy another cable. Don't daisy chain because your gpu might break from it.

Ok PSU
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's an alright psu, my main issue with it is that it's really loud under load, and the cables are hard to work with.

Great PSU for the Wattage.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the best PSUs I have ever bought. It is sad that the power needs of this generation of PC parts need more power and they do not make a 1200+ watt RMx.

Posted .Hi Jayy,
Our PSU cables are tested with a specific pin layout to achieve maximum performance and reliability. It is standard practice for PSU manufacturers to utilize different pin layouts. If you are looking for different PSU cables, please refer to our Type 4 Gen 4 sleeved cable kits. If you have any questions or concerns, we'd be happy to help: support.corsair.com

I believe I got a lemon
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to upgrade my psu i currently have a coolmaster 800w and was pushed towards getting a new one, so i went with this one, well it went well at first pc turned on i was messing around on it and walked away. My pc was going to go to sleep and then just shut off i waited a few moments and tried to turn it back on, it did not turn back on so I held the power button to see if ANYTHING would happen. Something in my pc went tssst, i had my dad look at it and he held down the power button aswell and the leds lit up and shut back off. So i took this psu out and put my old psu back in and everything is working . So morral of the story HAVE A BACK UP you MAY GET A LEMON, and it always sucks when its you that gets on!

2 in a row where DOA
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I finally got a 3080 from the evga step up program and I have a 650w PSU and they recommend I get at least a 750w, I decided to get this one last night as it was on sale and I installed all the wires and it never turned on. I plugged in my old 650w with the new wires to see if there was a cable problem but my 650w turned on fine. I went back to the same best buy store the next day to exchanged the 850w for the same model and after plugging in the new one it still wouldn't turn on my computer, I again plug in my 650w to check if all the cables were connected properly and my computer turned on no problem. Its sucks when you buy a product and its DOA, that happens, but when a 2nd one of the exact same model is DOA as well its infuriating that they released this for customers to buy.

Better days...
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very disappointed... A few years back I used one of these for a build and it died the day after I could return it. That was about 2 years ago so I decided try Corsair again. The rest of the PC and all peripherals are Corsair and they use to be my preferred brand. This one was dead right out of the box so I returned it. I still have the old one on the top of my desk I need to send back but just don't want to go through the hassle even though it's not a cheap power supply. I still have a older Corsair that has been running constantly since 2007 without fail and have built many over the years for family and friends but these two experiences and some builds for friends have been saddening. Hopefully Corsair can turn things around in the near future.

Mine broke in a month
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for a new build I was putting together for my RTX 3080, after a month it went faulty and my computer would no longer power on for longer than 50ms. Narrowed it down to this power supply being faulty. Hopefully the replacement lasts longer.
