    Worked great for 10 months then fried my PC.

    I bought this in late March and it ran great until last night when I went to turn my pc on. It randomly sparked and fried my entire PC. CPU, MOBO, RAM, and GPU. I’ve spent a year buying and upgrading parts for this PC and I’m absolutely gutted. I love Corsair products and have always used them, but something is wrong with this one. Hope this never happens to anyone else.

    Didn't come with enough plugs for my gpu

    It's fine and their 1000 version is nice, but it didn't come with enough GPU cables for my 3080 (needed 3 6+2s)

    This PSU was fine for 3 months then it couldn't produce enough power to run my RTX 3060. I swapped to different cables and changed output ports but it just couldn't output enough power and shut down during gaming. Switched to my 600w backup PSU and everything works fine. No crashing and my GPU gets enough power. Way too expensive to only last a few months.

    Very upset that this power supply was sold to me as brand new price and only had 1 gpu power cord and the boxed says it comes with 2. So I was told I could get a partial refund actually

    Noisy noisy noisy. I have to just start it up all over again a lot of days. Have to bring it back and try to get them to replace it because I can't stand it anymore.

    Only two PCIe 6+2 cables.

    Specifically went up from 750 to 850w unit to get one more 6+2. I see the photo ahows one more 8 pin on the PSU so i thought i’d be good. BUT NO?? Somehow this unit comes with a third 8 pin CPU connector, completely ruining the 3 dedicated canles for a 4080… come on corsair.

The RM850x has a total of four PCIe 8-pin connectors, while the RTX 4080's power adapter either has 3 or 4 connectors (depending on model).     Hands down one of the worst power Supplys I have ever owned it crapped out in less than 6 months and there warranty department is a joke

    Not happy with my purchased on this particular unit. it lasted a month past the year of purchased. it just died in action. I like corsair and i will give a second try.

    Died after two weeks. It failed the the paper clip test, so contacted Corsair support. They sent me a replacement, but the second one also has same problem. I think the newer ones have some issue. Try to a get some other model.

    It's on me for not noticing, but going from 3 to 2 pcie cables between V1 and V2 is a strange decision. Had to return.

    Looks like I got a lemon. Replaced a lower power unit with this one and system won't boot. Fan on this thing makes an awful noise. Careful with these.

    Would not hold steady voltage on the main rail. Dips all the way to 11.6 on main rail. Made previous OC unstable and only change was PSU. Back to seasonic for me.

    Unit was DOA, pretty disappointing that its 2023 and Best Buy is still having issues with PC components like this.

    bought to replace a raidmax 735 well it ended up cooking my ssd with all my sons saved data so much for buying a name brand thinking it would be better than a cheaper one.

    Power supply was dead out of box. The connections to the power supply were not the best. Had to check to make sure the parts were actually plugged in.
