It’s fully modular so I don’t have to worry about damaged cables and I can keep the cables cleaned up.

After hours of troubleshooting, it was determined that this Corsair PSU was defective out of the box. The PC started right up when the old EVGA PSU was put back in the system.

PC crashed and found that the PCI-e connections burned out on both ends, melted the plastic housings on both ends. Got this after doing some research, and haven't had any issues over the last few days. I'd never installed a PSU before, but this was fairly easy, just a bunch of plug and play once you know where each cable goes.

I definitely recommend getting a power supply like this one because it is fully modular. Which means that instead of all of the cables being build into the psu, it actually has ports for each individual cable meaning you can plug in only the cables you need so you don’t have to find a place to shove them into.
