Had to return this one because it was a non-standard layout. I was dumb and didn't notice on the packaging that the modular power ports are on the side of the unit. This did not work in my 2U Rosewill Rackmount case. If I oriented this in the case, the ports for the modular cables would be facing down to the bottom of the case. Obviously this leaves no room to plug in the cables. Most PSUs have power in on one side and power out directly on other side. This configuration would probably work OK in most regular ATX cases. So pay attention to the layout of this one. I attached an image that helps show this point.

I bought this because it was 850watts and it was rated well. I was also looking for a modular power supply, one that I could add cords as I needed and didn’t have to try to hide the excess. The cords only come off of one side, so make sure you buy a case that it’ll work in. The cords are thin, but add up when you use a lot. The panel in my case for the cords is very thin and I’m worried that it’ll break them so I have my side panel off. Other than that this is a great power supply and I would recommend it to everyone.

Quiet, easy to connect, cables included are good quality. Pushes my i7 14700k and 4080 super with ease and a lot of top room for heavier loads. Easy to install and built well, and love the fact that I can monitor specs on anything that connects to it.

A bit pricey for the wattage provided, but it runs smooth and quiet! Powers my 3 SSD's, 2 HDD's and 1 USB external HHD plus 6 RGB fans. Allows my RX 6800 XT to draw as much power as it needs without any failure.

Great power supply concept. Corsair RM series is always reliable and consistent on power. I bought this for the full modular side interface and It's definitely a huge plus for wiring and cable management. Because it's a side interface you'll want to check for cable clearance on the backside where all the wiring is hidden. The connections are also Type 5 so the connections going into the PSU are smaller and different that what most people have used in the past. Aside from that it was worth the extra $10 to have the side interface to me. It's also whisper quiet.

Quiet and reliable. Make sure it can be used with your case before buying. It works well with my old Meshify s2.

upgraded from an old evga to corsair since I heard good things. I love the new shift version which eases the cable management and leaves plenty of room behind the psu for extra drives or cables. Future proofs with the ATX 3.0 cable for newer high end cards 4000+

The modular part of it is simple and straightforward. works great

comes with the necessary cabling and screws for a new pc build. it is easy to install and having the side ports for the modular cables made it easier to hook everything up. powers on and works just fine

The new atx 3 is great for pcie 5 video cards and not having to use additional adapters for the 12 pin. The shift is great as it was always hard to reach inside the case for a new cable.

My room used to heat up quick when gaming for hours. After upgrading my 3070 to 4060ti and upgrading my PSU, my room hasn’t been hot at all. Get it!

Had a seasonic psu for close to 8 years and just wanted to get something more energy efficient and capable of handling newer cards. So far its been running good.
