IMPORTANT: THE RGB LIGHT NEXT TO THE SIDE BUTTONS IS NOT CONTROLLED THROUGH THE LIGHTING EFFECTS IN ICUE, IT IS SET THROUGH THE DPI SETTING IN ICUE.
Razer Naga Chroma died after 7 years and was tired of the bloated Razer software so I was looking for another mouse with the side buttons and lighting. I already have Corsair case fans and keyboard so this was a no brainer. Works perfectly with ICue software. The best part is the adjustable side buttons which can be moved back or forward to individual preference.
I definitely recommend if you're looking for well built mouse with RGB lighting and/or one with the extra 12 side buttons.

I've owned several corsair peripheral products over the years with varying amounts of satisfaction/dissatisfaction overall they are decent products but my general impression is they do not last as long as they should. (I'm a big fan of their memory products never a problem with those.) I have had at least two scimitar mice in the past, at least one of which I pretty much wore out the main switches after what's not really a lot of use. I don't play fast paced action fighting games, I'm mostly a mmo player with a bit of combat and then other life skill activities. It's the usual issue with worn out switches that start to double click or miss click with annoying frequency. This particular product and the Pro currently have a really bad reputation for problems with the scroll wheel failing (you can even find the program for 3D printing a new mouse wheel part on a number of web pages if you're lucky enough to own one of those). Apparently the plastic used to make the scroll wheel part is failing on the "shaft" and after that the scroll wheel no longer works. I tried to save a bit of money and bought a reconditioned elite from a popular site it arrived with a non functional scroll wheel. Lessoned learned, saving twenty dollars isn't worth it when a new one comes with a two year warranty and I also have the best buy warranty on top of that so no more reconditioned corsair mice for me it just isn't worth it, buy new for your sanity's sake. I like this mouse for all the side buttons and they aren't just useful for games with lots of controls/macros/etc. you can program lots of things onto these buttons and corsair's software works pretty darned well. For the price this is a good mouse, I'm getting old and cheap enough to be very reluctant to spend over 60 dollars for a mouse product and these days that's really a cheap mouse, some are going for as much as a hundred fifty dollars which is just ridiculous. This is a good product for the price just don't expect it to last years and years because like everything these days planned obsolescence is the rule in stuff like this.

In every way possible this is better than the logitech MMO mouse. Better weight, better feel in the hand, adjustable position for the thumb pad, nicer RGB, better/higher dpi, better software (icue is great, ghub is pure trash). Trust me, make the switch to corsair you wont be dissapointed.

If you play MMOs, you need an MMO mouse. And this one is the king. The side buttons are are quick and responsive. They offer almost no resistance to pushing while still being hard to misclick. Honestly, the design on the buttons are ingenious. Coming from a steel series aerox wireless, I'd take this wired Corsair any day. It's top tier. Especially for busy classes that require strings of inputs within 15-second windows (think Ninja class from FFXIV).
I have put about 2500 hours on this mouse and I've not had a single issue. Well-worth the investment.

I was a huge Razer fan but around 2018 the quality of all their products just dropped. I've been looking for a new MMO mouse since my Naga finally called it quits. I always heard good things about Corsair and they don't disappoint. This mouse is LEGENDARY. I feel so confident going into battles. The buttons are short to click so response time is stellar, it fits perfectly in my hand (I have small hands btw). The buttons are a solid click but not too loud. The ability to move the pad up and down to scale with the user's hand is a very nice touch. I also didn't realize but the blue color in the photos next to the pad is what DPI setting I'm using. So it's easy to figure out and switch between settings. All of these can be customized via the iCUE software too. My only complaint is the amount of RGB. I'm not a fan of RGB and haven't figured out how to turn it off fully.

I bought this mouse to properly play FFXIV. I've always played with a controller but I wanted to fully utilize a mouse and keyboard layout. The side buttons on this mouse sit on an adjustable slider so that you can adjust to whatever feels comfortable to reach with your thumb. You can use the iCue software to assign a function to each of the buttons. The software is reach in feature but sometimes feels overwhelming. You do get used to it after a bit. The LED is easy to customize as well. It seems that the mouse picked up the same lighting settings as my other, main corsair mouse I use for everything else so it saved me some time there.
I've played a couple sessions already and after some getting use to, I prefer this method of gaming over a controller for FFXIV so I will continue to use it. I definitely recommend it to anyone getting into an MMORPG.

I had an off brand mouse before this one, ive used razer naga in the past, honestly this one is just right. Corsair has typically been hit or miss for me, but this time they really got it right. This mouse is really comfy, super sleek, and very reactive. I instantly noticed a difference when i swapped out my old one. This one has no latency whatsoever and truth be told just looks way better than most stuff on the market. I would for sure recommend this if you need a good mmo mouse.

Love this mouse. Had a wireless naga for awhile but the battery stopped holding a charge and it got swollen so i couldnt remove it.
This mouse is wired and super lightweight. Plenty of buttons.
Dont mind the photo. Had to put one for sweepstakes entry

This mouse was a replacement for a previous Corsair mouse that had lasted for years! This upgrade was a great decision and we have not been disappointed! The DPI adjustments, buttons on the side, etc are just perfect.

I am coming from a Razor Naga and the difference is almost night and day. The Razor mouse I had was considerably heavier where the Corsair is much lighter, has its keys on an adjustable rail, and works with iCue to sync with the rest of my system's fans and keyboard from the same brand. Its light weight also lends itself well to other types of games outside of MMOs as well though its of course not as insanely lightweight as some of the skeletonized FPS type ones. All around a good buy, good options with customizable lighting and sensitivity settings for under $100

I purchased this mouse after very carefully considering other options and I am glad that I did. It's very aesthetically pleasing in person, and feels great to the touch. The RGB lighting is in a way very subtle and elegant, strange, since more light emanates out of it in various locations (logo, number pad, number pad area, scrolling wheel, and area next to scrolling wheel) compared to other mice that only seem to have one light source (mostly logo); regardless, it balances it very well and it's one of my favorite aspects of it, along with how it fits in my hand.
The Corsair software is great, I was able to configure this mouse along with a keyboard that I purchased without a problem, from what I can tell the sky is the limit as far as how varied the level of configuration which can be accomplished with this mouse is; therefore, the depth of the offerings within the program might be a challenge to some, but nothing that some effort can't overcome.

I got this mouse for my wife and she loves it. You can make every side button its own custom key combo. Great for FF14 online if you want them to be used for skills or all emotes like she did xD

Has reduced my cursing! (Slightly). My hands are a ladies md/men's small. I have no idea what brainchild realized that a smaller hand may not be able to reach all keys easily while healing / running / telling a tank something smarmy & "POLITELY" reminding THAT lock fire is not his friend.... But thank you, you wonderful engineer!
In every aspect it performs as you'd expect a similarly priced gaming mouse to perform with some nicer textures that ensure fine motor control. Flywheel is textured and has reasonable clicky points, keys feel solid and have distinct click on press (less than a manual keyboard), right side texture is perfectly grippy without being rough, side keys have texture that isn't rough or so smooth you can't differentiate (if you have callouses you might have issues). Paint job is holding up much better than most after several months of gaming/work, and is a satin, not a smooth finish.
All of this is great! I'd rate this one higher than most.
However...
The fact that I can hit every key, thus freeing one finger to establish my personal feelings on fire dwelling locks?
Priceless.
Tossed it on two stacks of standard size sticky notes so you can measure it for yourself. Width is harder to see, but it barely fits.

This is an incredibly comfortable mouse. If you are coming from the Razer Naga series, this will probably impress you. I love that the buttons can be shifted and hope to see a durability increase from the Naga.

I purchased this same mouse 5 years ago and I’m just now buying another one because it’s insanely good for mmo’s. Very responsive and the keybinds are a lifesaver in WoW. 100% recommend

This wasn’t the mouse for me. The feel in my hand was too slick, so it’s felt like my hand always wanted to just side off of it and there wasn’t anything keeping it from doing so. If I were Corsair, I would make the texture more aggressive like some of Razer’s mice. I also can’t stand the iCUE software because it’s a huge lug on my system’s resources. But one thing I did like is that I could set my RGB preferences on the mouse and then it would be saved in the mouse’s own memory, so I didn’t have to keep iCUE running like I have to with Razer Synapse on my Razer mice.

Extremely reliable. This is the second time i’ve bought this mouse after having my previous one for 5 years to play games such as World of Warcraft, Guild Wars 2 and FFXIV.
