I mean it won't blow your mind but I'd easily give it a 8/10. Keystrokes are smooth and it's easy to type on. I will say that keys are so soft that I occasionally miss keys because I'm unsure if it registered my last key press

I am a new-comer to mechanical keyboards and I think this Cherry MX red keyboard is a great start. I like that it types nice and easy without being excessively noisy. The red back lighting is ok. I'm not a stickler for fancy RGB backlighting anyway. So in that way it's better than other keyboards that don't have back lighting at all! My only major gripe is the lack of a wrist rest. The keyboard sits high off the desk and without a rest, you need to extend your wrist which isn't that comfortable over a long session.

This is a nice keyboard. I use fro photoshop and CAD drafting and I'm impressed with the quick key responses. And I just like the fact that the keyboard lights up.

What a great keyboard. Corsair did it again, solid build with a USB slide and software for different ligvht settings. Definitely worth the price

I've been a long time fan of Corsair products. I purchased this keyboard for gaming and to replace a wireless keyboard that was constantly having interruptions (loss of signal). This key board works fine. A couple of drawbacks on it are it is quite a bit louder than my old wireless keyboard. It also doesn't have an integrated wrist rest. Finally, it lacks a power off button for turning my computer off. On the other hand it is highly responsive and works well when gaming.

Was replacing my old Razor deathstalker and so far this keyboard has been nothing short of amazing! The application you can download from Corsair is pretty neat as well and can alter the way the lighting acts. As I type right now my keys are 'raining' or more like The Matrix and the lines of code going down. Definitely recommend if you're looking for an awesome mechanical keyboard.

This keyboard is very simple with only the minimum functions. It makes an excellent word processing keyboard as well as gaming keyboard. I noticed that typing was much easier but a bit louder. It probably isn't the best selection for the living area computer. It is made well and heavier than even the much larger keyboards that come with today's computers.

Being older than most gamers, in the past I found it hard to see the keys. But the backlit keyboard took care of that. just love it.

Corsair products truly never disappoint and this keyboard is no exception. It feels great to use and is extremely responsive. Really can't beat it, especially for the price! I really wish I could leave 4.5 stars instead of a 4, because this is just a little design thing. It's not a major thing, but I wish it had a dedicated button for sound instead of having to use two keys (Extra function key to press) to change computer volume.

If you are looking for a well built keyboard for a reasonable price, then you should consider the Strafe. The body is made out of plastic instead of aluminum, but still feels solid.

Personally I prefer the clacky clack MX Blue keys, but this keyboard is solid and to the point, No weird gimmicks. Just works right out of the box.

Over all the keyboard is great. It exceeded my expectations for the price that was paid for it. Compared to other mechanical keyboards that are equal or higher price, this is a great buy. The back lit res lights are great, just sucks that there isn’t much customization in how the lights flash. Other than that would recommend if your looking for a good quality mechanical keyboard for a cheap price

5 stars for build quality, this thing is heavy and consistent. Wish they had more colors, as the red bothered my eyes the first time i used it. Been good now. I wish they built in water drain holes in this thing. The keys are very quiet and I believe I cannot go back to a regular keyboard after using a mechanical one.

This keyboard is one of the best keyboards for the price. Very nice build quality and couldn’t ask for more.

i always looked towards Corsair for their line of products because i know I will get a great product that will last me awhile. Solid (literally) keyboard. The Cherry MX red switches are great for me, if i had the extra money for one, i would have liked buying the RGB version. Luckily my build is black and red!

Bought this keyboard not expecting all too much. I was pleasantly surprised. The keys are very solid when typing and have a nice feel when being pressed in. The light can be adjusted from no light to very bright. It also came with several replacement (grey) keys to make the WASD keys standout.

The keyboard is everything a gamer needs. If you like the color red this keyboard is perfect (sorry no different colors). The cherry mx red keys are awesome and have enough clicking sounds to satisfy your ears and not get annoying. Also the keyboard is really durable for those key smashing people.

My first "gaming/mechanical" keyboard so I have nothing to compare it to. I love the red lights i love the way the keys feel and am overall extremely happy with my purchase. I have had zero problems and the lighting controls with the corsair desktop app make it pretty cool.

Love the backlit keys. Board performs great and provides all the necessary functions I wanted.
