The quality of this keyboard compared to Razer, Logitech and many other brands is absolutely unmatched. Feels so good typing and gaming. Large amount of customization with Icue app that works flawlessly! You will love this keyboard just as i do and its good for RPG games and FPS games as well as every day needs!

This keyboard is extreme versitile. It is silent as can be which was something I was looking for in a new mechanical gaming keyboard. The RGB backlights add a nice touch to my layout. Overall, I am really happy with my decision. I will add this to anyone looking at this option who is not used to the compact style of a full keyboard, which before this I was not either. The keyboard layout will take a little time to get used to especially if you are a person who types fast with set in muscle memory to where keys generally are. Definitely not a negative as with anything, practice makes perfect.

Amazing Keyboard – Compact, Powerful, and Smooth!

This CORSAIR VANGUARD 96 RGB keyboard completely exceeded my expectations. The 96% layout is genius — it saves space without losing any keys, including the numpad. The build feels premium and solid, and the dual-tone design gives it a sleek, modern look.
The MLX Quantum Linear switches are incredibly smooth and responsive. Typing feels effortless, and gaming performance is next-level. The FlashTap SOCD tech really makes a difference for competitive play — fast and accurate every time.
RGB lighting is bright, vibrant, and easy to customize through CORSAIR iCUE. Whether I’m working or gaming, this keyboard delivers top-notch performance and comfort.
If you want a high-end keyboard that’s compact but doesn’t compromise on quality, this is the one. Highly recommend it!

Great Keyboard. The sound and feel are amzing, and i love all the features that come with it, like the LCD screen, the dial, the virtual steam deck button, and the extra G keys. The only issue i have with it is the software it uses (corsair webhub) it is awful, hopefully they fix this soon... overall amazing product.

Keyboard is great quality with plenty of features, but the software is web based. (If you hate iCue then youll really hate whatever this is called. Software has some issues, I believe the software makes the keyboard unresponsive. Even if it doesn’t, something does. Keyboard will not ahow any signs but will be unresponsive until you change modes 2 times, little annoying with such a premium looking and feeling product. Buyer beware.

Looking to have fun for the holidays?

Oh man, this is a wonderful upgrade from the K55 I've rocked with for a good 6-... 7 (heh) years, and that served me well. So it peaked my interest seeing this in-store around the holidays when gifts are being given and so are bonuses/gift cards from work. So naturally I was looking for a little treat when this thing came into my focals. This was also great as I have been interested in modular keyboards for the past couple of years and I've been wanting something that I could deck out myself at some point. With the switches being hot-swapable, small-yet-stylish demeanor, and a cool magnetically attachable wrist rest to boot, this seemed like a good choice. This also feeds into my bias towards Corsair a lil for the keyboards so nevermind that too much. Also coming with a little screen and a media control knob that matches the aesthetic of the board too kinda brings it all together for me.
Now the one thing that threw me through a loop was that this keyboard is not yet iCUE compatible, so I was confused when it wasn't finding the keyboard when I first booted it up with it connected. Turns out they're doing something a little new for this one that you have to do updates and editing through a site for the meantime. Which I guess makes sense because of streamdeck compatibility attaches some extra strings to it, or maybe they're just testing new ways to dish out updates.
Either way, it's a wonderful keyboard! Thanks again Corsair!

Great Keyboard

This is a great slightly downsized keyboard. The feel of the keystrokes is just right. The spacing is a little tighter than a full sized keyboard, but the footprint is so much smaller, that the tradeoff is worth it. It is nice to have the 10-key included, without the keyboard being massive, like my other keyboards. The lighting options are fun and are useful when using in a dark space, like when gaming or working in a dark office. Overall, I really enjoy this keyboard and plan on adding a few more to my office and gaming environment.

Keyboard good, Corsair firmware not good

I bought this keyboard because I really liked how the keys felt. No stupid clicky nonsense, nice and smooth, it's pretty heavy and has a good feel. The keyboard isnt supported in the iCUE software yet, which is annoying to use the web hub, but it works. The little screen is fun to find and uplaod images, the wheel feels pretty good and has more functionality than I thought it would. The only issue I have was a firmware update initially failed, possibly because I used IE instead of chrome, but I have to soft reset the keyboard after powering my PC off and back on. The keyyboard goes dark and unresponsive until soft reset. This resets all setting changes and is annoying. I submitted a ticket to corsair and they wanted me to send it in to them, which I refused as I dont want want to chance them sending me someone elses gross refurb keyboard. They then said that its a known issue and can't send me an older firmware version and will have to wait for a fix. I want to rate it higher because I really like it, but a software update almost bricked the keyboard and thats minus points.

This keyboard is very small for the amount of keys you get which is very nice if you come for a 60-75 percent keyboard. The keys feel good and the screen is a nice touch. I however do not care for the wrist rest as it makes my wrist warm and it isn't that comfortable with the way I naturally rest my hand when using the keyboard.
The color scheme is very sharp too!

Three stars because; The hardware, feel and overall quality is top notch. For the price, I was genuinely impressed with how this Keyboard feels. The size, layout, macro button placement and THE KNOB are all top notch.
The only downside is the current lack of iCue support and the utterly useless WebHub. Features like, automatic profile switching based on what game is running, lighting link with other corsair products, and more advanced lighting and keybinding options. iCue manages all my fans, RGB etc with surprising stability. Why do I have to quit it just to make a small adjustment on the keyboard? This is extremely annoying and contributes to my other gripe- the screen. This could be SO GOOD but instead you're limited to <500KB Gifs...let me put my CPU and GPU temp, something more useful than a gif please. I am hoping the coming iCue integration fixes this, or at least raises the GIF size to 1MB.
Overall; this is an excellent keyboard unfortunately saddled with poor software. I would not recommend this to anyone in its current state.

The new Vanguard keyboard lineup by Corsair feels great! I originally used an old bluetooth apple keyboard and needed to upgrade, and this was a perfect option for me! The keys aren't too sensitive like some keyboards, they do take a little force to fully press, and the cherry layout is something I feel comfortable with using.

Just got into gaming...can't recall the last time I had a mechanical keyboard. There is something so satisfying about it! I love this keyboard as the sound is just right for me. For those who are ambitious, it's super customizable. Magnetic wrist guard is very comfortable.

This keyboard is so satisfying, from clicking sound that’s not quiet but not loud, the feel, and the light customization.
