Okay first things first although I'm a big Corsair product fan and have been for quite some time now due to them standing by what they put out for products this keyboard in my humble opinion just doesn't cut it for me and that's exactly why I give 3 stars for it, Please don't get me wrong with what I just said. My reasons for not likking this keyboard that much is 1) the size being to small for people who have big hands such as myself even with this keyboard having a 10 key area it's in all actual fact smaller than the K100 keyboard which has the same functioons as this one with the exceptions of the control dial on the left to control the RGB lighting, 2) the god awful white keys which will get dirty real fast around some people granted you can get the black key caps of the white ones nowhere on the package it comes in did it say white keycaps yes I'm being nit picky when it comes to this because the color white shows the dirt just like on a white car. 3) the wrist pad when you move the keyboard to different spots it falls off eveen though it has a strong magnet to hold in place it does slip off,and )4 the fact that you have to go to a hhub type web page to set it up and not into the iCue software which I'm not sure if it's due to the k96 being so new or the fact that Corsair is trying to phaze out iCue. That's the cons on it. The pros for it are the placement of the G keys and haveing one that youy can switch to the gaming function on the keyboard, the ability to be setup from 1000hz to 8000hz for the polling and having a screen above the 10 key area wioth a dial the has better control for the volume and other functions. All in all I'm giving the 3 due to my likings on type of keyboard even though the K96 deserves a 5 star and I would recomend this for any of my friends who either have smail hands or like this size keyboard
